The Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund is a locally-run, all-volunteer, non-profit in Santa Clarita that offers grants to young adults ages 18-40 during their fight with cancer. These grants, typically around $500, help with every day expenses to assist the young adult and help them retain dignity and financial security during this trying time. The BMCF produces a 5K/10K race each year and raises funds and immediately opens funding to those young adults in need. www.bmcf.net
