I have know the SCV Pregnancy Center for 25 years. The staff is caring and upfront. Their focus is on the person in front of them. A variety of services, such as the ultrasound, are provided.
In my experience, the SCV Pregnancy center is staffed by caring people who first listen and then respond with accurate well-documented facts.
I was able to get a free ultra-sound from this site last year. They were wonderful and professional. They gave me exactly what I asked for without pressuring me in any way. I was overwhelmed with the information and care I received, including follow-up afterwards. I am so thankful for this organization and would highly recommend them.
I did quite a bit of research on the Family Planning put on by the government. It turns out it's an left leaning abortion agency.
As far as we can tell, Laura Holton (LH5565) or her alias, has never been a patient in our clinic. Comments made are without the benefit of a patient experience so she really has no idea what happens in our clinic.
We provide all services advertised. All medical information is evidence based and accurate. We have served our community for nearly 28 years; our patients are so satisfied they refer us to their friends and family leading to more than 50% of all new patients from referrals. All services are provided with integrity, professional commitment, patient sensitivity and quality leading to the highest standards. We are a specialty clinic providing FREE pregnancy testing and diagnostics in addition to information on all pregnancy options and STD testing and treatment.

I posed as a patient and went undercover to the SCV Pregnancy Center to get more information for my column I was writing about teen pregnancy in Santa Clarita. In fact, I was referred to the SCV Pregnancy Center by a member of the William S. Hart School Board. Once there, I discovered they do not offer most of the services they claim to offer. They also will not give you any form of contraception. They turned me away when I asked for sex education, birth control pills, and condoms. They are a christian pro-life pregnancy center, which would be fine, accept they don't tell you that. Their sole purpose is to push their own political religious agenda and they do not offer any medically accurate fact based information. In fact, they altered their website after my column came out and put a disclaimer at the bottom stating they are a religious non-profit. For more information read my column at http://ourvalleysantaclarita.org/the-venus-flytrap-laura-holton/
