Programs: Exam administration and development - provided an examination program for polysomnographic technologists working in the care of sleep disorder patients, thus enhancing the quality of service and patient care exam development and scoring - provided a fair and thorough certification exam by carefully developing and selecting the right mix of questions to include in the examination.
conference, conventions, and meetings - enabled board members and sleep disorder professional throughout the united states and the world to assemble, exchange ideas, develop, and improve the certification exam for polysomnographic technologists meetings and allowed for the dissemination of information regarding certification and processes, and provided the opportunity for recognition of participants within the profession and the public at large.
