Mission: ^the blues kids foundation is a non profit charitable organization established for america's youth and educators to preserve, promote and perform the blues under the tutelage of professional practitioners.
Programs: The blues kids foundation awarded scholarships to over 200 blues kids, ages 12 to 18 to attend the annual blues camps. The blues camps were held in galveston, tx, chicago, il, minneapolis, mn and corona, ca, hampton, va. The kids learn and performed america's root music in a fully funded, weeklong program with like minded kids under the tutelage of national and international instructors. Cul instructors. Culminating in a live stage performance at an authentic blues venue. The kids will demonstrate what they have learned before their families, friends and the community at large in a concert setting.
