Causes: Community & Neighborhood Development, Economic Development
Mission: The organization's purpose is to create an environment in bay shore-brightwaters that will enhance business appeal, quality of life and property values through the establishment of a long term beautification program; conserve, promote and protect scenic qualities of the geographical area within the hamlet of bay shore, located in the town of islip, in the county of suffolk, state of new york. To promote partnerships between businesses, schools and the public to create an aesthetically pleasing community that is a safe place to shop, conduct business and raise a family. To sponsor plans and projects for the conservation, restoration, and beautification of the aforementioned area; and to generally engage in any and all lawful actions in furtherance of the foregoing purposes, none of which shall be for pecuniary profit or financial gain, all of which shall be on a strictly non-political, non-partisan basis.
Programs: Baskets - every year in the spring, the society supplies hanging flower baskets for the lampposts lining main street.

beautification - various projects including hanging of wreaths at holiday season and watering of plants
reflection garden, pumpkinfest/haunted garden, winterfest, street garden contest
