was a client in said shelter in bay shore ny one of the worst places to live.The case managers are unqualified and have no idea what they are doing. Theres no hope of moving out if you believe it will be from the help of these workers. They run this agency like some sort of secret society, they do not provide contact information to their supervisors or board of directors. No grievance ever leaves the house, its tightly controlled and purposely thrown under the rug. Their system is set up to basically get paid while your staying their and keep you stuck. WORST PLACE TO BE. If you ever end up here, request transfer asap youll have a better chance of getting out of the shelter system in another shelter where the case managers actually know what they are doing and are working towards helping you find housing.
