Programs: During 2014, bec focused on the following: increasing u. S. Prioritization of quality basic education and engaging with administration officials responsible for budget and policy decisions, impacting the u. S. Strategy for education, sharing information on the value and impact of quality basic education, and providing input on education programs in particular countries, utilized a number of working groups to address particular policy issues relating to basic education, raised public awaremess of the need for quality basic education through various public outreach effors, including a website, www. Basiced. Org, its signature publication, teach child, transform a nation, a bi-weekly newsletter, various reports and publications, editorials, and public speaking opportunities, and worked to achieve an expanded network of engaged efa advocates, both in the united states and internationally, by participation and collaboration with various networks and organizations.
