Mission: Bannister house promotes health and well being to all who require long term care, with optimum dignity and respect, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disabilities, or age. It has been our commitment to the community since 1890.
Programs: Bannister house is medicare and medicaid certified and provides long-term nursing care to elderly and other needy patients. During 2013 bannister house provided 31,819 patient bed days. Included in this total were 26,841 medicaid and 1,338 medicare patient bed days. Bannister house rents space to the providence center. The space occupied by the providence center provides services to adults affected by psychiatric illnesses, emotional problems, and addiction in the form of person-centered, recovery-focused treatment within a community setting.
