Mission: To create a coordinated care delivery system that will provide access to quality care, personalized service, and education to improve individual and community health. We accomplish our mission through our set of values, which are honored in all our interactions.
Programs: Atlantic general hospital is a non profit healthcare provider focusing on inpatient and outpatient services for our local community. We also operate multiple physician offices throughout the region that provides family, internal and specialty medicine to our local residents. We had the following key statistics during the 2016 tax year: admissions: 3,269, patient days: 11,513, ed visits: 38,186, surgeries: 8,211, other outpatient visits: 67,529, total visits to our physician practices were 95,559.
