Mission: Started as a Young Artists Program in 2004, the Festival blossomed into a full-fledge Summer Opera Festival in 2005. With the mission of bringing world-class Opera to the region, it aims to afford major breaks to outstanding inexperienced or undiscovered artists. In a region lacking international level opera experience particularly during the summer, the Festival comes to provide a much necessary commodity - OR - fulfill a great artistic need.
