Mission: KATRINA'S ANGELS MISSION ATAYAL is currently focused on the volunteer efforts of Katrina's Angels to find jobs, housing, and resources for evacuees of Hurricane Katrina and other natural disasters. www.KatrinasAngels.org MISSION FOR INDIGENOUS PEOPLES There are at least 5,000 indigenous groups made up of 300 million people that live in more than 70 countries on five continents. They represent approximately 4% of the world's population. With so many indigenous cultures in so many countries that have limited resources and unstable political situations, many indigenous cultures may soon be lost forever. Americans are blessed with more resources than people of any other country. It is our privilege as Americans to share our blessings with others in the world who do not have the same opportunities. The ATAYAL organization makes a difference for these groups by providing opportunities for expression and prosperity, and ultimately... survival. Indigenous peoples need opportunities to be heard. They need opportunities to come together and pool resources to become self-reliant as a united global community. ATAYAL provides these opportunities.
