Mission: Advance and promote arts and culture in the wichita community through advocacy, leadership, education, and collaboration.
Programs: Fiscal agency program: to promote art and aesthetics in the greater wichita community by providng a project funding mechanism.
art functions: art paintings, sculptures, and other creations by local artists are displayed and offered for sale on a commission basis in the gallery. Artist receptions are held to introduce the public to the local artists and their works. These changing local artist displays are designed to expose area residents to the featured art and artist to promote art appreciation and encourage public support of the artists.
art awards program: this program annually gives awards to nominated artists and organizations. A council-appointed committee selects the winners and makes the awards.
other program services include various local artistic functions and events aimed at promoting arts, culture, and better quality of life in the greater wichita area.
