Mission: Art Access increases accessibility in the arts through opportunities for artists with disabilities and education for community and cultural organizations. Art Access has been supporting the intersection of art and accessibility in Utah since 1984. While 2020 brought drastic changes to our programming, including closing our gallery, we honor all the amazing things our community has accomplished over the years. Art Access offers gallery exhibitions created within our programs, including our mentorship program and our working artist groups. Our programs have benefited from partnerships with local educational, artistic, and public service organizations. We are funded by Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts, & Parks program, and have been awarded numerous NEA grants. We are the only arts organization in Utah that focuses on accessibility education for organizations and companies both within and outside the arts.
