Mission: The arc of buncombe county exists to empower children and adults with intellectual and develomental disabilities to realize their highest potential through advocacy, education, programs and family support.
Programs: All services that the arc of buncombe county provides assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in becoming as self sufficient and as independent as possible. Our programs are designed to empower and help
with tools and resources to support the future. Our crisis intervention program has supported families and individuals with housing and utility assistance to ensure that families remain in their homes or
