I had the opportunity to visit Apache Rose horse rescue in Jupiter when I was visiting from New York. I wanted to take the time to visit the horse sanctuary and speak to Linda who is the founder and owner. She is a very warm hearted woman with a goal to help save and rehabilitate these horses , so they can be paired with warm and loving families. Linda spent 3 hours with me telling me her goals and ideas that she has for the horses that she takes in. The day that I was there a young woman was being shown by Linda how she wanted the horse to be walked and groomed. She wants these horses to be treated with gentleness and No crops, whips, or Spurs are to be used. i loved the way Linda spoke of each horse and how committed she is. Everyone has a cause they believe in this was it for me. I made a donation but a lot more is needed. I am back in New York and can't wait to revisit again. JS
