Mission: Ameridream, inc. Is committed to building strong communities and individual prosperity by expanding housing opportunities for underserved groups through its downpayment assistance, community development, educational and other charitable services. Specifically, ameridream's charitable purposes include: 1. Relieving the poor and distressed or the underprivileged by providing the means for families to acquire affordable housing through the downpayment assistance program; 2. Lessening neighborhood tensions, eliminating prejudice and discrimination and combating community deterioration by expanding the supply of decent housing for low and moderate income households; 3. Serving social welfare through education programs to home buyers to make informed financial decisions before and after settlement; and 4. Lessening the burden of federal, state and local governments by increasing the availability of affordable housing through downpayment assistance and redevelopment activities.
Programs: Ameridream, inc. Helps low and moderate income individuals and families purchase decent, safe and sanitary homes that meet fha's standards for habitability, as required by their rigorous inspection and appraisal process, by providing downpayment gifts to those qualified for the purpose of purchasing a home as provided by hera.
the redevelopment program worked with local governments and community agencies in distressed areas to combat community deterioration and lessen neighborhood tensions by rehabilitating abandoned and blighted housing units and building newly constructed affordable housing units. We also provided $154,500 in homeownership subsidies to low and moderate income first time homebuyers.
