Mission: Advancing the knowledge and practice of naval engineering, enhancing the professionalism and well-being of members, and promoting naval engineering as a career field.
Programs: Meetings: hold national and regional technical meetings to disseminate technical and educational information to members and others interested in naval engineering.
member services: gather and publish technical papers, materials about society activities, technical papers and meetings in naval engineers journal for members and subscribers (about 5,000 persons) and provide information and services as requested by the membership.
outreach and awards programs: student awards, scholarships and engineering awards (16 persons) to encourage and support those interested in naval engineering.
