Programs: The american jobs project helps states identify economic development strategies for advanced energy technologies that will create jobs and leverage their legacy industry base. In 2017, the program served 6 states and engaged with hundreds of stakeholders in industry, academia, ngos and government.
the mitec program focused on helping small and medium-sized manufacturing businesses access the resources of the department of energy's national labs and the department of commerce's manufacturing extension partnership network. This first of its kind cross-department collaboration served 4 states and engaged businesses with the national renewable energy laboratory and oak ridge national laboratory.
