Mission: American interfaith institute is committed to the research and study of the basic causes of racial and religious prejudices; working with all facets of society to implement a better understanding of ways to eradicate racial and religious prejudices and disturbances of the democratic process resulting from those prejudices; encouraging business, educational and commercial interests as well as individuals to participate financially and otherwise, in its stated purpose; fostering inter-institutional and interfaith relations among all ethic groups in our society; and publishing and distributing newsletters, books, study guides and other media as a part of the educational process to accomplish its stated purposes.
Programs: Development of a group of clergy who are committed to removing the anti-judaism found in the readings in the church's lectionary.
