Mission: The goal of the academy is to prepare students for acting careers in theatre, television and film and to provide a practical, post-secondary education that emphasizes the skills needed by an actor in today's competitive environment.
Programs: The american academy of dramatic arts is a school for professional dramatic training. During the 2016-2017 year, there were approximately 666 full-time students at our two campuses in new york and california. The academy also trained 370 part-time students in its summer programs.
