Causes: Health, Specifically Named Diseases Research
Mission: The purpose of the organization is for education and outreach programs that focus on public health issues and epidemics, as well as to fund basic science research pertinent to these issues.
Programs: As we work for the greater good in pursuit of the betterment of public health, our foundations purpose is to join hands with those in need. Our focus is on public health issues that threaten the health and well being of adults and children across all cultures. We work to fund basic science research and translate new discoveries to those who will realize the greatest benefit. The foundation currently focuses on education and awareness in three main sectors of public health: type ii diabetes and obesity; orphan disease: neuromyelitis optica (nmo) spectrum disease; hiv. We also concentrate on aspects of science and engineering.
