Questionable ethics. We requested a financial statement in order to establish fiscal accountability - we were advised that this request would need to be approved by their board. Also, we were told there would be a $5.00 charge. Various omissions of the representatives of the organization, during the adoption process, led us to terminate our relationship with this organization. We had been told that they would be responsible for legal documentation and the charges thereof. 6+ months passed and the organization did not fulfill their commitment. The representatives of the organization will not take responsibility for legal charges incurred as a direct result of refusal to perform. Retaliation was threatened by this organization for whistle blowing. Although incorporated on October 15, 2004, this "agency" has no licensed social worker on staff and is not licensed/accredited as an adoption agency in the USA, Texas or Liberia.
