Our outcomes extend beyond physical improvements — members regularly report enhanced emotional well-being, greater independence, and deeper community connections.
Target demographics: Adults living with spinal cord injuries, ALS, MS, and other neurological or neuromuscular conditions who are seeking personalized, comprehensive, and forward-thinking care.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Through our scholarship program, we’ve provided over $350,000 in financial assistance, ensuring equitable access to high-quality care for those facing financial hardship.
Geographic areas served: Based in Carlsbad, California, Adapt serves individuals from across San Diego County and welcomes visiting members from out of state and abroad seeking specialized neurological recovery.
Programs: All of Adapt’s services are grounded in our three foundational pillars: Physical, Emotional, and Community well-being. We offer specialized Neurological Recovery Therapy (NRT) tailored to each individual’s goals and condition, alongside integrated wellness services including massage, neuroacupuncture, mental wellness support, and aquatic therapy. Members also benefit from peer support, adaptive arts and adventure programs, and enriching community events that foster creativity, confidence, and connection. Educational seminars focused on conditions like MS and ALS empower individuals and their families with practical tools and knowledge. Together, these services form a comprehensive approach to recovery that prioritizes not just physical function but also emotional resilience and meaningful social connection.
