Mission: Accountability and credibility together (act) provides a variety of resources and services to meet our objective of keeping referred clients off of cash assistance. A holistic case management approach is used to determine the underlying cause of financial distress and develops a plan for the client and act to follow in order to address these issues. We work to increase self-sufficiency skills of families, thereby reducing their need for public assistance. This is done through the provision of comprehensive, integrated and flexible services and through partnerships with community organizations.
Programs: Act provides case management and emergency financial assistance to help keep individuals off of welfare. Several services are provided including financial literacy classes, counseling (if necessary), on site g. E. D. Program, employment classes designed to maximize success in entering (or re-entering) the workforce, on site college degree programs through the university of cincinnati, in addition to other individualized support.
