Mission: To provide financial support to improve the quality of life, at the end of life for patients and their families demonstrating financial need; and to provide hospice education to the community and continuing education for medical staff emphasizing hospice care.
Programs: During 2014, the hospice care program was funded and in operation providing financial support to improve the quality of life, at the end of life for patients and their families. The foundation provided the following to those in need: caregiver relief, respite care, grief and bereavement counseling, medications not covered by insurance, burial assistance, community hospice education, continuing education for medical staff emphasizing hospice care, other items deemed necessary for end of life care and training programs for office and patient service volunteers.
