I had the pleasure of working with the Center for Innovation and Resources, Inc. (CIR) for two years on a California grant in collaboration with another fantastic nonprofit. Throughout that time, CIR’s team consistently demonstrated their commitment to excellence. Their work flows and attention to detail created a seamless registration process for our online events, making the project coordination smooth and effective. What stood out most was the genuine camaraderie among their staff—they clearly love working together, and their teamwork shines through in the innovative resources they deliver across California.
In my new role at another nonprofit, CIR has continued to support our Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) curriculum because it aligns perfectly with their mission to educate and train current and future frontline professionals in child-serving careers. I look forward to more collaborative opportunities with CIR in the future, knowing their dedication and expertise will drive meaningful impact.
I have worked with CIR for over 20 years, and it has been a huge value added collaboration! They are exceedingly professional and outstanding at providing education, technical assistance, support, resources, and outreach to all professionals involved in child abuse work. They provided outstanding service during the COVID pandemic, when everything moved to online and zoom and home-schooling. They continuously provide representation on our Board of the California Chapter of the Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (CAPSAC), they co-sponsor outreach and scholarship events with us across the State, and they are exceedingly responsive to requests. I give CIR the highest possible rating as a great non-profit.
As a member of the Greater Bay Area Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) , we have greatly benefited from the support and guidance of CIR. We are able to train our communities on emerging issues in child abuse prevention and raise awareness with the support of CIR.
As the Executive Director of the CAPC for Contra Costa County ,we rely on the expertise of the staff at CIR to support our work through information sharing and training in our county. We could not do it without their support.
I have collaborated with this nonprofit for at least 20 years and have only the highest regard for their service to professionals of all disciplines serving children and families and the community. Their trainings are timely, relevant, well organized, and of the highest educational standards. Numerous agencies assign their staff to attend CIR programs with confidence. I am impressed also with CIR’s remarkable efficiency and utilization of resources. The staff are highly professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.
Sue Hardie, MN, PhD, former Secretary, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC.org)
Our agency is fortunate to have the opportunity to work with CIR. Since our inception, CIR has trained over 200 members of our multidisciplinary team, including local law enforcement, child welfare, and our district attorney staff. We are incredibly fortunate for their leadership and expertise in working with investigative agencies to conduct evidence based, developmentally appropriate, and legally sound forensic interviews of children in the aftermath of abuse. We are grateful to their team and dedicated staff for their continued support!
