Causes: Job Training
Mission: To provide, through awareness and education, high quality resources to the underprivileged through educational offerings from the center for business acceleration (cba).
Programs: Cba and va accelerator are both currently operating; the programs, curriculum and courselets that make up these entities are actively helping to educate veterans so they can pursue their dreams, having first learned and prepared to achieve their goals. While cba's educational programs exist today, cba continues to expand and improve every single day, as it processes and reacts to feedback from students - generating new curriculum relevant to the center's primary objectives; and ever-improving and expanding user interfaces and resources. Ideally, the site will help as many veterans as possible to find work and to succeed in their endeavors. Cba is specifically targeted to large-scale employers, offering online training to these employers' veteran employees, in exchange for their hiring of a veteran workforce. Additionally, cba is making itself known to the entire nation through a variety of marketing tactics and through the va's vr&e centers. Though not every veteran has an interest in entrepreneurship, those who are interested will be made aware of the site and its multiple offerings. All cba course offerings are fully approved and supported by the department of veteran affairs. We are very grateful for their continued support to provide high quality courses to veterans free of charge and to non veterans at low cost. About giving is currently working with accreditation service providers in order to comply with all federal, state and accreditation rules and standards. This will also help improve the reputation of the courses offered by cba.
