This charity has done amazing work to improve the ability of medical researchers to make use of modern non-animal drug testing. Without their influence and advice, the FDA Modernization Act might not even have been passed. I heartily recommend their work and am grateful for their ongoing accomplishments!
It's rare to find such a passionate, genuine group of individuals who are dedicated to their organization's mission! It's been so valuable on a personal and professional level to work along side and get to know the CCS team. I look forward to the organization's continued growth and success.
The work that CCS is doing to promote alternatives to animal research is important and needs to be supported so that universities, pharmaceutical companies and hospitals can move forward using molecular research methods.

This is a vital organization that helps support human-relevant alternatives to using animals in research. That means they are finding ways to do impactful research on diseases that do not use or hurt animals in the process which is very very important!! I can only hope that many will help support this nonprofit.
A great organization that has not only helped pass laws to reduce the number of animals used in research, but also show how research can be made more cost effective.

I have known about CCS though an individual that has worked closely with CCS for several years. I continue to be amazed and so appreciative of the research-supported advocacy and innovative public policy, education, and medical solutions that have been initiated and lead by CCS.
CCS is focused on results that advance human health and replace outdated animal testing methods. Their approach is pragmatic and effective, and they get things done. They recently helped facilitate the FDA Modernization Act which is a huge step forward. Their team of experts is truly dedicated to achieving their goals which is how I know they will continue to make significant strides towards advancing human health well into the future
I came across the Center for Contemporary Sciences (CCS) by accident, and have been very impressed with their mission. It's time for us to stop needlessly wasting the lives of animals in test trials, and shift to an approach that is cheaper and better for humans. CCS has been quite effective in leading the charge to make this happen.
This is an outstanding charity-it has really brought my attention to how much better human-based research is for human health (rather than animal research). Most organizations advocating against animal research focus on how unethical animal research is (which, I admit, I'm really getting convinced by), but this science-based approach is novel, sensible, and really should be discussed far more. So, kudos to this organization!
CCS is an amazing organization with a highly effective team. Far more than just a “think tank”, they’re Scientists, Innovators, Educators & Policymakers that are making a difference with the work they do!
The work of CSS is nothing short of groundbreaking. Their staff of experts have laid out a clear and comprehensive plan for changing the way we do scientific research that will revolutionize drug therapies and our understanding of diseases. Probably one of the most important nonprofits operating today. I recently listened to a webinar presented by Dr. Aysha Akhtar and it filled me with optimism about our future. Science is wondrous, exciting, and full of possibilities, thanks to CSS.
It’s great to see an org like CCS advocating for better science and making a positive change in the lives of animals. I wish them success in their work.
I have seen the work the Management team at CCS does and their attention to detail first hand. They are highly competent, very experienced and focused on the proper record keeping for all they do. I'm happy to recommend them to others!
Aysha is a formidable force for good in science. CCS, under her leadership, is the scientific engine for the recently passed FDA Modernization Act. What is amazing about Aysha and CCS is that they are not going to rest on their laurels for this accomplishment. They have more work to do so animal experimentation is finally relegated to the dark ages of science where it belongs.
Expect greatness from this nonprofit dedicated to advancing clinically-relevant 21st century medicine!
CCS is strongly establishing itself with a highly outcome driven approach in promoting alternative to animal testing and New Approach Methodologies at all levels.
Dr. Aysha Akhtar and the Center for Contemporary Sciences are leading important work in human-relevant research. Dr. Akhtar's lecture "How Can We End Animal Testing and Better Human Health" (September 2021) is excellent and can be viewed at the Youtube link below.
The Center's mission against laboratory experimentation upon nonhuman animals is not only a humane one, it is also for the benefit of humankind. Keeping multiple animals confined in stressful situations, such as laboratories, is the perfect scenario for yet another zoonotic disease to strike the human population. The fact that SARS-CoV-2 might well have come from the Wuhan lab surely should be lesson enough. It is to be hoped that scientists the world over will one day agree with the Center for Contemporary Sciences that nonhuman animal experiments are neither necessary nor beneficial for any objective which pertains to humans.
This organization gets 5 stars. They continue to do what is necessary to reach a goal of zero animal testing. I will continue supporting this most valuable organization. Big Bruno

CCS is an organization I have advocated for and supported since I first learned of its founding. As someone who worked in animal research and recognizes the fundamental flaws of vivisection, I know the future of science is animal-free and CCS is one of those organizations getting us there.
Absolutely wonderful organization doing much needed work. It's a breath of fresh air - I'm proud to be a supporter.
CCS is a beautiful company , saving animal life, and developing cutting edge medical research without the use of animals. I love your mission and vision.
Absolutely wonderful organization doing crucial work. As a person who supports medical breakthroughs and treatments, and who also does not wish any harm upon any other animal, I am so glad CFCS is here to discover and promote better means of testing that don't include torture and harm to other sentient beings. When it is understood that we are also doing a disservice to humans when we use other animals as stand-ins, all "animal testing" will end, and we will end up with better ways to be sure our medicine and procedures are as safe as possible. I so appreciate this organization.
CCS has emerged aa a powerful force in a so needed and rational and possible route to move forward with science explorations using a human model and not continuing to rely on a flawed animal model. It is time to do this shift and CCS shows us this. and the way to achieve this progress. Their mission and professionalism and expertise is to be celebrated and supported. I am proud to be a donor. I've been involved with animal protection and rights nonprofit work for many years. CCS's advocacy will help move us away from the horrid suffering of so many animals while showing a way forward to best science outcomes.
CCS does such important work, and I am so happy to support them. They are an important voice for animals and for science.
CCS is a wonderful non-profit doing crucial work in the field of alternatives to animal testing. If we want to see this harm to animals stopped, alternatives need to become readily available. Go CCS! Keep up the great work!!
I donate to CSS, I believe in their Mission ~ their goal of replacing Scientific Research using animals with Research using alternatives to animal based studies. I have been paying attention to this subject matter for 20 plus years. It is evident that using animals in research is an abysmal failure, and is morally bankrupt.
I believe CSS will be an Integral Cog in the transformation away from using animals in research to Scientific Research using alternative, cutting edge science. This will be a Win Win for all animals and for the Health of Humanity.
I believe in CCS’s goals and I have full confidence in their staff which is why I choose to donate to their organization. I find their strategies to be effective and they work diligently towards change in an under appreciated area of animal protection.
I’ve worked with the CEO developing a symposium at my university, which she spoke at. Her extensive knowledge, passion for her work, and engaging speaking style really connected with the students who continued to talk about the event for months afterward.
I appreciate the crucial work that CCS does to advance and evolve our species for the benefit of all beings on this planet. We have the technology/science/moral understanding to know that testing on animals is not only cruel and unjust, but totally unnecessary for us to develop medicines that keep humans healthy. Aysha Akhtar's scientific/medical expertise make her the perfect person to lead this important organization and its work, but that's just part of what makes CCS so unique. Dr. Akhtar's compassion and empathy for all life serves as the foundation for finding effective ways to keep humans healthy and that don't entail pain and suffering for other beings. If you are looking for an organization that effectively advances human health and our evolution as a species without animal testing, then please support CCS!
I interned at CCS during the summer of 2021 and my experience was great. The staff at CCS were very friendly and helpful. They were always happy to help me succeed and to answer my questions.
CCS is a wonderful organization with a management team that is kind, passionate, and focused on being an industry leader in the transition to human-specific medical research. It was a pleasure working with the team as a previous intern and I believe there are great things on the horizon for CCS.
I worked as a fellow at CCS for several months last year. It was a great experience where I had the opportunity to learn and work on projects I was passionate about (plus it paid!). The entire team is knowledgeable and friendly!
From a purely scientific perspective, it was interesting to learn about the reasons behind phasing animals out of preclinical testing and how this would benefit both animal welfare and drug research in the long run. It's been a nice additional bit of experience to complement my studies at university, and I enjoyed learning about the different technologies available that have potential to be used in mainstream drug development.
CCS is definitely heading in the right direction by raising awareness about the different human-relevant research methods out there, and I'm excited to see how the research landscape will change in the future thanks to the work they're doing.
I worked as a fellow at CCS last summer and it was a great experience! I was paid something, and I worked on a subject involving hard science and an issue which is at the forefront of both activism and medical research- In short, I loved it!
I work as a policy intern for CCS as a law student and it is to date, my favorite internship. I love the tight-knit community of people who care about similar issues, the flexibility of the staff, the brightness this organization holds, and just the overall goodness that this organization represents for humanity and animals. I love that this new organization is already making its mark in the scientific and legal community. Besides the plethora of interesting opportunities that this internship offers me, such as networking with a variety of different people, I also made some lifelong new friends, which is always an unforgettable experience. I hope to always support CCS and am so excited to see where this organization is in the next few years!
