Mission: Archaeological research. We run an archaeological excavation in jordan and take volunteers, primarily students, from the united states with us to work as volunteers with the excavation. We present papers at academic conferences and meetings and publish academic papers and books about the excavation site. We only excavate on "even" dated years, and so we were not in the field excavating this past summer and so had no program related expenses. We are also closing down the corporation. It officially ended on october 15, 2013 by a unanimous vote of the board of directors. All assets were transferred to john brown university in siloam springs, ar.
Programs: On even dated years we take groups of up to 40 students to jordan to excavate. During even dated years we publish our findings and present papers at academic conferences. Our staff of volunteers presented approximately 12 papers at various conferences and is in the process of writing three volumes of publications of our excavation work. The work is ongoing.
