From the start I have witnessed A Bold Story Never Ends help others through education on mental health awareness and I personally believe in its mission. As a volunteer see myself as part of a team that is carrying the baton of a race that was initiated by Kameron. A Bold Story Never Ends will ensure his legacy continues the race!
A Bold Story Never Ends (ABSNE) is one of the best ran nonprofits in the Houston area, particularly those that address mental health. One woman, Antwanette Weaver, is almost single-handedly bringing attention to mental health issues in the Black Community as well as the broader society. There is no other group in Fort Bend County engaged in this level of work. Under her leadership, this organization has built an extensive network of schools, churches, businesses, other nonprofits, local elected officials, and individuals who all support enhancing the mental health of local residents particularly that of children and teenagers. ABNSE sponsors an annual fun run, workshops, symposiums, Fatherhood Initiatives, teen pregnancy programs, and college scholarships for local students. So, this organization is doing a lot in the community and will do much more in the years to come.
A Bold Story Never Ends is a nonprofit that truly makes a difference by tackling one of the most pressing issues of our time: mental health awareness. Their mission to bring light to mental health challenges, break the stigma surrounding them, and empower individuals to find strength in their stories is nothing short of inspiring.

A Bold Story Never Ends is a nonprofit Organization that started to honor the life of Kameron Weaver, who lost his life to suicide. His mother, Antwanette Weaver, the Executive Director, decided to share his story and spread awareness about suicide and other mental health information. In addition to this, the organization gives back to the community through multiple charity opportunities, such as the Fatherhood program, Family Fun Day, and the Suicide Hike for Hope. The organization also provides scholarships to qualifying individuals. A Bold Story knows a plethora of information about mental health because there are 7 organization members that hold licenses for either social work, counseling and/or other therapy related professions.
I’ve known Antwanette for over 30 years. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does. When her son died by suicide she decided to start a nonprofit in his memory. Her goal has been to make a positive impact in the area of mental health. In the beginning she raised money to award scholarships to deserving high school students. Then she expanded to a mentorship program for young fathers. She’s educated hundreds of people about the importance of mental health and talking about suicide. Antwanette and her team are like pebbles that are thrown into a pond. Their ripples will affect so many people!!! God bless Antwanette and A Bold Story Never Ends.

This organization works tirelessly to bring awareness to and resources for mental health. I am so grateful that they are here to serve as a light in some of life's darkest times.
A Bold Story since its inception has been about caring for those who maybe struggling with mental health in any capacity. It has support many teenagers with their scholarship program. It has brought more awareness and education to the community. It has been a pleasure to see the love and hope that it gives to individuals and families.

This is a wonderful organization. The founder is truly passionate and has a heart of gold. She has touched numerous lives with her story and information regarding mental health concerns. It is a joy to see the students receive scholarships knowing their lives are forever changed for the better!
A Bold Story Never Ends is a wonderful nonprofit and their commitment to mental health is something that is needed more than ever. The main thing that I appreciate is their commitment to education to their audience. I think the lack of knowledge makes people fearful when they hear mental health, but I think with proper education from nonprofits like this people will no longer be afraid.
I am the 2023 Bold Futures Scholarship recipient and am incredibly grateful to this organization and it’s founders. The awareness, advocacy and inclusion that is promoted with this organization within the community is amazing as well as its impact on the youth.

I didn't realize how much this scholarship meant to me until my parents told me that they didn't have to pay anything for my 1st semester. I have an older sister in college and every semester, my parents are struggling to cover her expenses that are not covered by loans or grants. It felt good not to burden them with an extra expense and I could just go to school and learn. Thank you again to the family, friends and contributors of the Weaver family.
