Incredible! They gave me the perfect amount of money to be able to get my baby's eye removed, he had such bad glaucoma and was in constant pain. He is the love of my life and I've had him since was a teenager. I am so grateful for Red Rover making Ari a happy, bounding little guy again.

I applied for red rover donations to help with my fur baby's surgery. They contacted me right away after applying and were very professional about the whole application. They were able to help me with the amount I needed left to be able to get my fur baby's surgery. Now he's living his best life and not hurting. He had mass removal.

Due to life changes I was not able to cover my 14-year-old Chihuahua Romeo's dental work. I was referred to Red Rover through my vet and contacted them. I heard from Jenna and she helped me work through the process of getting funds to help Romeo with his dental surgery. I never would have been able to afford it without Red Rover's help. He is now healthy and in much less physical discomfort and I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart thank you.

Nancy from Red Rover called me an hour after I submitted my application, wanting to help Sylvester. it was a Friday night west coast time was 430pm and im on the east coast. I was her last call for the evening. I'm so very grateful. He needed an urgent procedure on Saturday, after several trips to the veterinary hospital and nothing was helping. I was pretty much at my limit. Nancy saved the day. If it wasn't for Red Rover I don't know what I would of done. My boy is doing much better.

my poor boy peach is a wild cat , he unfortunately got into something he shouldn’t and ate a rubber washer which blocked his intestines he rapidly declined and i took him to the vet not knowing what was happening. they told me what had happened and the next morning he had emergency surgery. the cost was a lot more than anticipated and i was not going to be able to cover it all. thankfully redrover donated to help peach and fund the surgery which was making it a lot easier on me cost wise and helping peach. without them i’d be at such a loss. here’s updated pictures of my boy after his surgery. i’m so thankful for their help.

Marley seemed to get sick overnight. She couldn’t even hold down just one drink of water. We took her to the vet where they informed me that if she didn’t receive surgery to remove her uterus, a giant cyst would likely rupture, and it needed to be done within 24 hours. Panicked we came home, I really had no one to reach out to. I’m a single mom and Marley has been apart of our family since we rescued her 5 years ago. A friend sent me the RedRover link and they responded so fast! The next morning, Marley was already in surgery and I was trying to come up with the funds to pay for it. RedRover called and asked about her, I explained, then was told they would like to cover up to $350 which was half of the cost!! We were so happy because we could easily cover the other half!! Meet Theodore ( Thor ) , Thor came into my life right after an incredibly devastating loss . My Forever dog my once in a lifetime dog . ROCKY . I wasn’t prepared nor was I even ready for another dog . How could I possibly replace him ? My heart was broke . I only had him for 4 short years . He was diagnosed being diabetic and liver failure . We tried to save him but it happen so fast . The vet recommendation wasn’t an easy one . How could I possibly give up on him . April 1st we said goodbye . Then along comes this little guy . We decided to open our home to him . He literally just showed up and worked his way into my heart . At first we noticed his gate was off . When he stood there was a difference in his hips . Then occasionally he’d have a limp . Was it in his hips was it weather related maybe his paw . It continued to worsen . Upon getting neutered we had X-rays set up. The Vet determined it was a torn ACL . Which is a costly surgery . I had never reached out to any organization for help . In a panic ,upset , how could I possibly let this dog down . Red Rover Relief was the first place I contacted . And I had an immediate response . Next day a phone call . Everything was lined out . I’m beyond grateful they are there to help Thor . And other animals in need . I can not express enough how heartfelt I am . From our family to theirs . Thank you from the bottom of our heart . I did include a picture of my beloved Rocky .

I rescued two kittens last June and when I weened them off the bottle, Clyde developed a bad case of diarrhea and soon developed an anal prolapse. I couldn't barely afford the cat food, much less a $500.00 surgery I was going to have to pay out of pocket for. The vet suggested I try a few veterinary help grants and I must have filled out dozens. I was about to give up when Red Rover called us back. A few days later I was taking Clyde in for his surgery !! The case worker, Mrs. Nancy, was very nice and very professional. She worked closely with the Vets office so the whole experience was easy on us so we could concentrate on getting Clyde well. I would never would have been able to afford to keep him if it was not for Red Rover!!

My little18 year old chihuahua comet had a really big tumor on the side of his neck and it was making him very uncomfortable. I reached out to redrover for help due not being able to afford the surgery myself. Comet had the surgery and is doing really well. He now looks and acts like his old self again. This is Princess. She is 14 years old. She recently had to have a life threatening emergency surgery, which was very expensive. She had cancer surgery in 2021 and was all clear until another tumor started to grow this year. I was saving money for another surgery when the tumor burst.

I am on a limited income and hadn't saved enough yet to pay for her second surgery. Between Care Credit and RedRover I was able to get her into surgery and have the tumor removed. I will be able to pay off the balance soon.

Dori is doing very well, she has fully recovered and has plenty of energy and a good appetite.

We rescued a puppy who my husband witnessed being hit by a guy when she was in the back of his truck. He offered to buy her and the man stated you can have her I don't have time to train her anyway.
My husband was actually on a motorcycle so he called me to come pick her up and she's been our baby ever since.

Diva does have horrible allergies which causes her skin to break out and she has horrible ear infections. The last ear infection was a couple months ago and was going to take hundreds of dollars to treat and we just didn't have it at the time. I contacted every resource I could asking for help. Red Rover not only responded on the same day but offered to help with our financial situation. They were an absolute God send and we could never thank them enough.

Red Rover has also reached out since then to check on Diva's progress and truly cares about the animals they are able to help. I would highly recommend this nonprofit if anyone is searching for a place to donate to. They are truly great people!

Dear Redrover, I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the assistance you provided me in a time of dire need. My beloved companion Blue was suffering from Pyometra and required immediate surgery to save her life. As a dedicated pet owner, I was devastated and willing to do whatever it took to ensure her well-being. I exhausted all my resources trying to find a solution, but the emergency vets I consulted only seemed interested in draining my bank account with endless tests and treatments. It wasn't until I found a compassionate vet who was willing to perform the surgery at a fraction of the cost that I began to see a glimmer of hope. However, even with the reduced price, I was still struggling to cover Blue's surgery. That's when I reached out to Redrover and was connected with Nancy, who was a beacon of light in my darkest hour. RedRover was so quick in processing and contacting my vet. With their assistance, I was able to proceed with my dog Sweet Pea’s mass removal and biopsy. Since I was able to do this quickly with financial assistance, her prognosis is great! Even though malignant, the early and aggressive surgery has avoided any metastasis. I’m so happy that she’ll have more time. We adopted her in 2022. She was a blind, severely neglected senior who was dumped and picked up by ACO. She deserves all the time she can get to be loved and spoiled.

My rescue cat, Annie had a mass on one of her teats, and was also having trouble chewing. Due to my own health issues, money was tight, but as a lifelong pet parent, I had to find a way to take care of my girl. I had a couple nonprofits agree to help, but my vet wouldn’t accept checks, so I was stuck. Regardless, she needed surgery, so I decided I’d figure things out after.

The night before her surgery, I sent an email to RedRover. I received a response the day of surgery, but just glanced at it thinking it was a denial. While driving to pickup Annie, I remembered “contact me today,” from the email. I called RedRover, and Nancy said she could help! I was so surprised, and relieved. I did not know how I was going to eat for the month, and it was only the 10th of the month. Within 20 minutes, Nancy had called the vet, and made a donation toward Annie’s surgery.

As for my Anniegirl. She’s amazing. The mass and six teeth were removed. She’s recovered from the trauma of surgery and wearing a cone, and she is back to waking me every morning at 5am to say “good morning!”

Nancy was AMAZING! She wanted to help, and didn’t treat me like she was doing me a favor, or I was a bother. I will be forever grateful for the support and financial assistance I received from RedRover. RedRover truly cares, and in today’s world, that means everything. This is our babygirl Tequila. She was diagnosed with pyometra at the early age of 1yr old. We were really unsure and unaware of the risks of this infection which lead us to google and we were fearing the worst, we were able to get her into a vet and have her properly checked and diagnosed and secure and appointment for surgery. Unfortunately a week before her actual surgery her symptoms had worsened and we had to think quick and take her in the very next day, being a one income household we were unsure how we were going to manage to pay such a large amount of money in less then 24hrs. That’s when we reach out to RedRover. We were really scared that we might not be eligible because of our timeframe, but we made the call and the before we knew it we were approved a very generous donation for our girl! Today she is 18 days post Op. and she is thriving and is her self once again! We owe a huge thank you to RedRover and all the sponsors because we without all of you we could have lost our beautiful girl! We hope to be able to become sponsors for such an amazing cause, Tequila and the whole ubias family are beyond blessed for you guys!!

REDROVER came to our sweet Tinks rescue. She was suffering from an extremely large bladder stone that was life threatening and must be surgically removed for save her life. REDROVER' was quick and easy to work with. I can't wait until I am able to give back to this amazing organization.

When my GSD got run over I exhausted all my funds for his initial treatment. It appeared that all that was wrong was a laceration on the upper inside of his back leg. Little did I know the was just the beginning. When it was time to remove his suture I discovered a mass on his abdomen. I knew it had to have came from the accident. My vet ran all the test to rule out the common issues that cause swelling in the abdomen and after surgery in was determined that it was a large hematoma in the muscle of the abdominal wall caused by getting run over. Like I said I had exhausted all my funds and RedRover stepped in and helped pay for his surgery. I couldn't have done it without their help. My vet said it was the largest hematoma he had ever seen. It was removed and Holmes is doing wonderful. RedRover is truly a blessing for those who need help with urgent care for their pets.

RedRover helped me when my dog Frodo needed surgery for bladder stones. This organization was a godsend, as they helped by providing much needed financial assistance for the surgery. Frodo means the world to me, and he has been with me through some very challenging times. He has a lot of life still left in him, and thanks to RedRover, he was able to have the surgery and is doing much better. RedRover stayed on top of things those few days before, during, and after the surgery. They were kind, caring, and efficient. The process of working with them went very smoothly, which was wonderful since Frodo needing surgery was already a very stressful time. I can't thank this organization enough for their help during a very scary time.

Red Rover helped me pay for my cat Hawkeye's dental extraction. His teeth were causing him so much pain, he didn't even want to eat, which is one of his favorite things to do! Since our family living only on a single monthly disability check, we barely afford half of it on our own. Not only that, Laurel happened to know about some resources for the disabled we hadn't heard of. Red Rover brought relief to our family in more ways than one. They were attentive in asking after Hawkeye's health and seemed to genuinely care about both me and my cat, and never talked down to me or made me feel degraded for needing a little help - having been to my share of food banks and crisis centers, I can say with certainty that isn't always the case, and the value of that respect is immense. I cannot possibly thank them enough. Hawkeye is back to his old self again - playing, cuddling, and yes: even eating! I know he has many pain-free years left because of Red Rover. Hi! Cinnamon had a broken tooth, but she's all healed up thanks to the donors of Red Rover!

Robin is a kind, thoughtful, gentle creature. She is a breed of a hedgehog called African Pygmies. I like to raise hedgehogs because of a fact that they live substantially longer in captivity than in the wild. Robin is almost 3 now. This winter, after some detailed veterinary examination, & X-ray, I found out that my beautiful Robin has a tumor in an area where she felt pain anytime she went to the washroom. I was very down on my funds, spent much on diagnostics for Robin, didn't have enough resources for a one time surgery that would remove the tumor once and for all. I contacted The Humane Society because in my opinion her existence wasn't humane & I did not want to explore euthanasia. Humane Society immediately pointed me toward Red Rover. The most trusted veterinary non profit in the US. I didn't expect much. I filed my paperwork at 4am, & by noon of the same day I saw a reply that Red Rover was interested in speaking to me. I got to speak to Athena. Who is just awesome! Professional, polite, kind, skilled, trustworthy, understanding, & most importantly compassionate. Athena told me right from beginning that she's not promising me anything, & politely explained that Red Rover usually deals with dogs and cats. However, something about Robin's photo drew her to want to help her anyway. Athena spoke to Robin's veterinarian, called me right back and we both came up with a plan. Red Rover grants can't always cover the entire cost, but by funding a very generous portion with a grant, gave me the wiggle space to ask other people, like my brother, for the remainder of the surgical bill. Surgery went great. Robin was on the heavy doze of post surgical medicines for 3 weeks, which she finished without any issues. I can tell how much happier she is now. Her mood is visibly better and in ways I think she understands that she was helped, our bond is stronger than ever. This here would not be written if it wasn't for truly the kindest group of people in US, the Red Rover... At the same time I applied for help with Pet Fund. Pet Fund sent me a small paragraph stating that they would consider helping Robin if she got worse and put on chemo. I responded back politely asking to reconsider helping, given the fact of how inhumane Robin's existence was then & explained the situation in more detail. Pet Fund was also backed by Humane Society. I have not heard back to this day. It would be nice to at least see that they tried to reconsider, but to no avail. Ignoring a plea isn't kind. It's very much visible that Red Rover is much more trustworthy than Pet Fund. Not only because Red Rover ultimately decided to help, which is a part of it, but because they actually reached out and wanted to talk to me about Robin's situation. I spoke to a human on the phone, which is very more personal & professional than a two sentence reply from Pet Fund. Pet Fund ignored Robin. Red Rover saved Robin... Robin's late brother's name was Rover. I think he is watching out for his sister through this amazing charity organization. PLEASE, PLEASE DONATE TO RED ROVER IF YOU CAN!

Coco Chanel is doing very well after her surgery Monday, December 18, 2023. She was diagnosed with bladder stones back in November. The stones did not dissolve with a prescription dietary change and antibiotics, so she had to have surgery. I had already spent over $600 on her vet care and had no more money. Red Rover responded quickly and compassionately to my application for a grant. They are so very kind!

I am so grateful that they helped CoCo and me pay for this unexpected condition. Because of the kindness of Red Rover, she is getting back to her normal self!

Redrover made it possible for my dog, Minnie, to get a surgery she needed. Honestly there is no number of stars that could equal what they were able to provide for me and my dog. My dog is so special to me, we have been through so much together, and to have been unable to help my beloved best friend Minnie with the surgery she needed was not something I could accept. I began looking for any help that existed for people who were unable to afford expensive vet procedures. To The donors who make this whole thing possible, I hope they read my thanks. Sooo grateful to have found this place to help with my cats tooth surgery.. there was no way I was able to afford it and I just can’t say enough good things about the process as well. Quick and easy to fill out, great communication, Macy was amazing to work with and just so kind. I’ve referred so many people already that I’ve seen needing help!

A quick timeline:
Cassidy was rescued as a kitten with her brother Scooter. Cassidy attended college with me in the dorms as my emotional support animal, traveling home to my parents and her brother regularly. Although we lost Scooter last year due to his health, and despite a couple surgery scares when Cassidy ate craft supplies, she has adamantly stayed with me over the years. I have difficulties with my mental and physical health, and she has been my constant purpose to keep going. Losing her would be a detriment to my own well-being and her feline siblings.

She has struggled with her gums but symptoms were minimal at worst until more recently. Prior to her surgery, she had swollen gums, dropped teeth, and her inflamed sinuses made it difficult to breathe and she would sneeze uncontrollably (making eating and drinking hard). Due to my several health problems, I have been on unpaid medical leave for 6 months of 2023 with no financial supports. Despite my desire to give her the best care, I couldn't manage the required surgery. Red Rover came in to provide funds making the surgery a possibility. They were extremely easy to work with and clearly understand the importance of a pet's health to the pet-owner relationship.

After her surgery, she was sleepy but already different. She hated the cone so I was with her constantly which seemed to remind her how much she used to love snuggling. She is now back to spending most days by my side, eating her favorite kibble, and playing with her favorite flamingo toy. All without sneezing! Most amazingly, she is letting her siblings chase her and sit decently close during naps. She never allowed this before!

She deserved this surgery after the support she has given me over the years, and it was horrible not being able to cover the costs myself. I cannot thank Red Rover enough for the support, along with the amazing care and communication from the vet office.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for RedRover. Without them, I wouldn't have been able to afford the procedure my Norton needs to have done. The whole process was so quick and easy. My case manager, Athena, was so friendly and helpful from start to finish. She always got back to me so fast every time I reached out to her. I'm so happy I decided to contact RedRover for help. They definitely came through for me. The RedRover Relief will always hold a special place in my heart, and I can't say thank you enough.

My bunny named Divine was unexpectedly pregnant and in labor! We became aware after seeing blood and a baby foot hanging from her. We gave her 24 hours but she was unable to pass the fetus, which was premature and malformed. We made a trip to the vet and found the baby to have its head lodged very well inside of her. They were unable to remove it without surgery. (We had been pushing back spay due to the hefty deposit needed and that's how we ended up in this situation, also by being unaware how young male bunnies were able to reproduce. Her mate is around 4 months.) The vet told us it was life threatening, a surgery was needed and so was an emergency spay. We had tried before to get approved for care credit but would again try only to be yet again denied. We were told about Red rover and hurriedly applied. In the mean time we had our rent refunded to aid in the deposit. We paid the deposit amd sent her into surgery and awaited a response. We received a phone call and it wasn't long after that we were told Red Rover had approved us! This good news along side hearing that Divine had made it through surgery was amazing.
Our baby had made it and we would be able to return a portion of our rent back to our landlord, all thanks to Red Rover. It's been half a week and Divine is doing great. We are so grateful to Red Rover. They saved the day and helped us to return to a wholesome position.
They are truly angels among us in the world!!!!

Let me tell you! In short, I rescued a cat who'd been abused and very neglected. He weighed just under 6 lbs and is (after initial vet ER exam) about 3 y/o. He drooled like a faucet had been left opened... which his current vet said was due to stomatitis (explains the drooling, as his mouth is inflamed, with sores, and he's in extreme pain when eating/drinking). With some TLC he's come around a bit in that he's being given painkillers so he can eat, but the vet recommended a full mouth extraction... which was scheduled but could not be completed, as my little guy could not be intubated because his airway was severely inflamed, so his vet took a biopsy, as she thought it might instead be cancer. I died daily out of sheer stress for about a week waiting for the results. IT'S NOT CANCER!!! I swear I cried when I was given the news... but now the vets will have to determine how to get THAT inflammation down enough to be able to intubate so his surgery can take place. So Red Rover came in when I started fundraising for this kiddo... and I've been extremely humbled by how they handled my situation, because (I shamefully admit) I was stressing so much about my kid that I was not precisely *nice* throughout the process... but Laurel is a saint. Her picture should be next to the words "patience", "kindness" and "understanding" in the dictionary.

Now I just have to wait until this baby's issue is completely resolved and his happy, sunshiny days can finally start. I leave you with a picture of one of his first days at home (so you can see what I mean by drooling - I mean it was 24/7), and a short little video of him a couple of weeks later, when he was not drooling as much. He let me pick him up for the first time last week and I nearly melted, he makes air biscuits when I carry him over my shoulder!!

Derby is doing great! Red Rover Relief Fund donated for his care when he got heartworms. I'm on disability and had no way of paying for his treatment. They came through when I desperately needed the help. They were very fast in paying also. I'll be forever grateful to them and their donors for the support. Please treat your dogs for heartworms. Red Rover is an amazing organization. We took our little red girl to get spayed recently. When they opened her up, they saw her bladder completely full of stones. had never even known she had her stones until that time. They called during surgery and said it would be quite a bit more than we could currently afford to get done at the time. In a panic trying to be sure we took care of the issue before it caused her major harm, I came across Red Rover. I applied and was so shocked we received a call back the very next business day with an offer for help. We were able to get her cystotomy two weeks later, after she healed from her spay, with the help of Red Rover and their wonderful donors. After not having known about the stones, we weren't expecting to really notice much difference but, she's clearly been feeling much better! She has been running and playing like never before, my kids are so happy she's like a puppy now! She just seems overall happier and feeling great! We can't be thankful enough for the help giving our sweet girl a new "leash" on life.

My little dog Auna started having dizzy spells one day. She was already anemic and thinking it had gotten worse I took her to the vet. I was right. Her blood had gotten so low the vet told me she would need a blood transfusion. I had no idea how I was going to pay for it. I went online looking for help and stumbled across a blog that mentioned redrover.org. I had never heard of them but decided to give it a shot and filled out the grant application. The next day they call me and by that afternoon Auna was at the vets clinic getting the tranfusion. They saved her life and I will always be grateful! I don't know what I would have done without there help! Thank you again redrover!! You guys truly care about animals and the people who care about them!

I reached out to RedRover asking for help with treatment for my dog Jasmine's serious infection following her spay surgery. I was barely expecting a call back, as I understand the volume of applications and the amount of other pets in serious need just like Jasmine - but I received a call from Nancy within a few hours of my application, asking about Jasmine's condition and the unfortunate situation we were in as a family. After connecting her with my vet and sending over some information, Nancy informed us they were going to be able to help us cover the costs of the expensive special order medications to save our pup!!! We are so so beyond grateful, as we are recent college grads who rescued our pup from someone who could no longer care for her and want the best for her - seeing her recover happier and healthier than ever... and RedRover is helping us do just that!! Thank you!!

When my Lucy was diagnosed with cancer, I was told that we had to act fast to remove it before it spread. I didn't know how I was going to afford the surgery. The cancer was very aggressive and the vet wanted to remove it ASAP. RedRover responded to my request for help in less than one business day and worked directly with my vet to secure help with funding her surgery.

Someone had tried to break into a shed I have in my backyard but they never made it there. My two dogs heard them and went outside. As the person was running away they left my back gate open. I got up the next morning and one was on my porch but Myles was nowhere to be found. It took about 3 hours but I found him through social media. The call I got was that there was an injured German Shepherd on someone's front lawn and he couldn't move. We got the address and immediately went and picked him up we weren't sure what had happened to him but he was bloody and we thought he had a broken leg. Turns out he was attacked by something larger than him whether it be a coyote, pitbull, maybe another Shepherd no one knows. The vet said he was going to require dressing changes with sedation at least twice a week. We were able to cover the first bit of charges but we had just moved here and didn't have the extra funds. Through donations and finding the Red Rover Foundation Myles is going to be just fine. Red Rover is stepping in where we couldn't help him. We had tried to change the dressing at home once and it was traumatic for the dog and everybody involved. We just want to thank the Red Rover Foundation for helping us and Myles when we really needed it. And the services were really quick they were involved almost immediately.

My son's poor kitten came home with a broken jaw last night and we had to rush to emergency clinic for the cat to be seen With such a Unexpected financial emergency we didn't know were to turn we reached out to red rover and within minutes they were able to help me my son pay for surgery. We couldn't be more appreciative and thankful. In our time of need they were there to help my family and we will forever be grateful for this amazing organization. Their quick response helped our kitten get the chance for proper care and surgery she needed in a very uncertain time. We are so grateful for their help. Our hearts are full for such kindness and help we received. Without RedRover our kitten wouldn't have been able to have a chance at life.

For all that see this you must be an animal lover. I have this beautiful Pom/Chu that is my life. She has given me comfort and love threw the disappearance of my son, my best friend took her own life, back in Oct. and if I went on you would think, I am making this up. I raise my missing son's daughter (my granddaughter), on SS, and a little from the state. On food stamps, and on housing but we are still unable to pay this for our little one. Oreo has polyps in her left ear and surgery is needed to remove them. To save money labs will be done after surgery for Cancer. To have this done it is from 700.00 to 900.00. I wrote to Red Rover and received a email back the next day. I very nice and caring person named Athena. We talked the next day and she said that they would give 350.00 towards Oreos bill. I am so very grateful for the love they share for helping our best friends. So, I really need to say THANK YOU! to Red Rover and Athena for caring and doing what they do. And of course, to the kind people who donate to help with families like ours that want to do everything that is needed to care and do the right thing for their loved one. For Oreo is our family, and even better than some family, could ever be.

I'm looking for help in relieving my babys pain..shes 10..and gotten to the point she cant walk..she barely lifts her head..today is 5 days..she eats drinks..but cant move..not even to adjust her laying position..and i look at all these places that say they offer help with cost...but only if a vet has already seen her..or only if its a positive out come for her.. so none of these sites are any help to us..im pretty sure the out come isnt positive..and a vet is not even going to exam a dog..without payment up front..so how can this places say they are helping?..only dogs that may recover?..what about end of life help?? RedRover is so amazing! Our little pup came down with parvo, and we are facing difficult financial issues. They responded back quickly to get the estimate for the vet appointment sent. They helped pay almost the whole bill! I can’t thank them enough! They are amazing!

Orion had a urinary infection and his urethra was blocked so he was unable to urinate. He was really sick and he spent two days-one night in the veterinary hospital. They took exams and did a process where anesthesia was needed. RedRover was helpful because the medicine, treatment and his new diet was expensive. The treatment was needed to reduce the pain and so he was able to urinate and not become something more serious where his life was at risk. One of the pictures was Orion in the veterinarian hospital and the other two were days after he came back home.

Hello i am looking for some help and I not sure where to start my dog is currently in the emergency vet due to having pyometra she has an emergency surgery this morning and was able to make it through although vet said she might not. She is needing more treatment but i have run out of funds. I am desperately. asking for help to get her in her nest health anything would help. I dont know what else to do. If anyone can guide me or help me i would really appreciate it! This is precious she is currently in the vet emergency room she is 9 years old the most lovable dog ever.

My kitty Bella who has been healthy her whole life was diagnosed with grade 3 cancer recently. Bella being my emotional support animal since 2008 and very best friend. I am only able to work part time due to medical issues but management to scrape up the money for her first surgery. The cancer grew back and now my vet recommended removing the majority of her right ear to fully remove the cancer. Unfortunately, financially I have only myself to rely on and it was impossible to come up with all of the money to cover her second surgery, and I’m not eligible for financing. I applied to Red Rover and prayed. They responded immediately and dealt with my vet so promptly and were so understanding, compassionate, and professional. I absolutely love this organization and if you are looking for one to donate to this is THE one! Thanks for helping me save Bella’s life & Athena you were amazing!

My 112 pound labradoodle was trained by me to be my service dog for my spine issues. His service to me has allowed me to leave the house and manage when I am alone. He was taken from the yard. He would never leave on his own. He showed up three months later with a tumor by his eye and a horrible cyst by his groin and had lost 7 pounds. I don't know if he was in pain. he never complains. Lab tests and penicillin, pain pills , $538 later, basically broke me as I am on Social security. When nothing worked the vet said he had to have both removed. I reached out to Red Rover. Red Rover was compassionate and moved very quickly and within three days got him approved. Their check arrived at my vet the day before his surgery. Yesterday he was operated on. He is recovering at home now. I am forever grateful to Red Rover to help my precious boy so quickly. Thank you he is resting with his buddy.

I’m super thankful for RedRover for helping my family. Josie was attacked one morning and almost didn’t make it. With the help of redrover I was able to cover the vet fees so my Josie Mae could receive the medical attention she needed. Josie is now walking again!! Eating like a champ. I could not be more grateful for this nonprofit for helping me out with an emergency pyometra surgery for my sweet Akita, Geisha. At almost 9 years old my female English Bulldog had pyometra and was really sick needingurgent life-saving surgery. I had recently lost my almost 11-year-old male English Bulldog and our family at the time was going through some difficult changes and had no funds to get her the care she was needing. I tried Care Credit and Scratchpay with no approval. I was told about Red Rover so I applied. Nancy called me me and ever since that call she and Red Rover have been so caring and involved and became the answer to the prayer Caty needed to survive. I just cannot thank Red Rover enough. Finding out I had Covid and had to be in the hosptial was such a shock. I was so sick so I had to send my Min Pin who I rescued from an abuse home to daycare for 8 days while I got better. All I could think of was how was I going to pay the kennel bill. Planned pethood what is the veterinary hospital I took him to for the surgery and they discounted my bill Also saying that they knew he was a rescue pet and that I was trying really hard to afford is Care so between Planned pethood and red rover with the grant I was able to get Chewy the surgery he desperately needed and he is so happy and so much healthier than he was thank you and God bless you’ll never know how much this meant to me and chewy

I am so thankful to Red Rover for helping me and my family with our Cleo's surgery. Application was easy if you have all your stuff in order and follow their guidelines. We received a quick response from Nancy, who went above and beyond to help us get approved for a grant. She guided and supported and communicated everything we had to do and made the process easy. I am on disability and have an english bulldog, Maggie Mae. She is 3. She had a cyst come up under her eye. I was afraid it would could affect her eye if it grew too much. I got a quote from a low cost vet and was in despair as I could not afford it. I contacted RedRover and they gave me hope. Athena was so wonderful and helped me every step of the way. They were able to pledge enough to the vet that I could afford the rest. Maggie Mae had her surgery on 6/9 and is doing wonderful.

My little girl kitty Gigi LaMew had a metal file box fall on her tail and had a compound fracture, and was told by ER Vet Dr. that she would lose most of her tail that it had to be amputated right away or risk infection and that she is in terrible pain. I scheduled the surgery for the next morning and started applying for grants. Red Rover was the 1st one I applied for and I was shocked to recieve a phone call less than 30 min later and what they needed from me, which I did immediately and was called back and approved in the space of an hour. I have never felt so much gratitude in my life!!!! Knowing somebody out there cared to help my precious baby when she really needed it I will never forget. Thank you from my heart Red Rover!!!

When I found out that my kitty had severe infections in her mouth and needed surgery, RedRover was one of three organizations that replied to my request for assistance. They immediately credited money to Neyoni's account with her vet. Thank you, RedRover and to all those who donate their funds to organizations like this one. You made it possible to care for my kitty during this unexpected time. Having to pay out-of-pocket was equal to a month's worth of rent, so I am beyond grateful for the kind generosity!

In October of 2020, I adopted a dog named Cinnamon from a rescue organization. I was told that she had been turned into the shelter for being food aggressive. The foster family said that she was a picky eater and that they had not found a food that she really liked well.

Once I got her home, I noticed that she would be so excited and wagging her tail when I was fixing food, but once I put it down, she would move it around in her mouth and spit it out and then eat a small piece at a time. I decided to pick up some canned food and try that. She ate it right up and after feeding her this for several days, I made an appointment with a vet because I thought that perhaps her teeth were a problem. The vet said she had severe paradental disease and a cracked tooth. He said her mouth was most likely very painful. He put her on an antibiotic and pain meds and we scheduled a dental appointment.

The estimated cost of dental was between $400-$700 dollars. This was way more than I had in savings account! I filled out the the Red Rover application and was thrilled when offered to pay $200 dollars towards her dental bill.

This would be the happy ending for Cinnamon, her mouth felt better. She is a gentle, smart and athletic girl.

But this is not the only happy ending. Last July 2020, I had a stroke that left me with a weak left leg. I have always been an active hiker that loves an adventure, and I had not been stable enough to take a hike on a trail with any slope on it at all. Then along comes Cinnamon.

One day, about a month after I got her, we were walking along a flat mountain trail and I decided to explore a deer trail. It didn't look too steep, so up we went. However, when we were coming back down, I slipped and fell. Cinnamon immediately came to my side and walked sideways in front of me to help me get down the slope!

Since then, she has naturally figured out that I need some assistance sometimes and all I have to do is call her to my side and hold her vest handle, and she will stay with me navigating down or up the mountain. Because of her, I have been able to continue to have adventures and get the exercise my body needs to recover. I owe it all to her. She is my hero. She is now my official service dog and goes everywhere with me.

Rescue Rover helped our new beginning together be less stressful and I am so ever grateful!

First of all i would like to thank rover for such a helpful to me first i am a disable and only limit income i have goldie my pom poodle mix he have been giving a such a relief everyday but one day he have been excess tooth and the vet told me i have to pay 1 200usd and that too much i cant afford it i ask for help. And in no doubt they did help me for my vet they pulled out 8 tooth instead of 3 tooth. But now he can eat and drink. 7 yrs ago I rescued a tiny kitten. My husband had just died and I was thrilled to have this little orphan who needed me. When he was just 6 months old he had his leg and hip broken and needed surgery or would have to be put down. Red Rover came to my rescue paying for the surgery and enough for all the check ups and vet bills involved in getting him well again. I can’t thank you enough! Jean Hogan, Illinois

RedRover was a complete life saver for our little MoMo! We found a very sick little kitten outside not long ago. A vet visit let us know that she had a diaphragmatic hernia that allowed her intestines, liver, and colon to move into her chest cavity. She struggled to breath every second, couldn't play, wasn't able to pass bowel movements hardly at all, and just had a miserable start to life.

At 6 weeks old, this was an extremely risky surgery that held a cost of $1,000. I had vets tell me that they would not touch it on a kitten so young, others said that I was wasting my time and she should be put down. It almost came to that point as I couldn't raise enough money to give this girl a chance. Someone that donated to her fundraiser ended up telling me about RedRover!

I took a chance, thinking that there would be no way I would get approved. I was so wrong! Within a day, Rachel reached out to me and guided me through the rest of the application process. She was so kind and helpful! The day that I got them the cost estimate from the amazing vet (Dr. Morton in Athens, Tx) that found MoMo's hernia and took the surgery on, RedRover approved my request and granted me even more than I was expecting!

With the RedRover Urgent Care Grant, I was able to schedule MoMo's surgery for the following day! MoMo made it through surgery amazingly and is now our little miracle kitty, lol. I have never in my life seen a kitten so playful!

The day after surgery, she was literally running from one end of the house to the other and playing with every toy I have in my house (a lot of toys, lol)! I think that she had never known what it was like to breath at full capacity for her whole little life. With this grant, her life was not only saved but totally restored! She is the most playful, loving, and excitable kitty ever now. We are so grateful to RedRover for helping us give this little girl a chance!

My tears flow when I tell you about my Shamrock. She was a Katrina rescue dog with her sister Clover, but when her sister died suddenly of Liver Cancer we knew we had to be more diligent with watching Shamrock's health for everything. One day she stopped eating, and all her numbers were bad she needed an operation that we didn't have the money for , but Red Rover never flinched from helping us with what was needed. Because of their continued help, Shamrock got the help she so desperately needed, her tongue and throat got fixed she started eating gaining weight and lived a normal happy life. She recently died from doggie dementia but she lived an additional 4 years because Red Rover helped us get her the operation she needed. Thanks is not even enough to say...their kindness and generosity saved my baby for me!

I, like many others since Covid19 struck, have found myself in poor financial circumstances thus ill prepared for my beloved Chloes impending surgery costs. Having already payed nearly $4000 in just the past year for related diagnostics and treatments from several local vets, there was just not a lot more we could invest! I scoured the Internet for days maybe even weeks looking for anything that might be of help. Learning ways to promote publicly to potentially enlist support in the form of donations as Id seen through sites like GoFundMe.com. Then that’s when I came across RedRover and Waggle which seemed the best fit considering her breed and of course our geographic location; as I soon discovered is tantamount for qualification and approval purposes. Fast Forward...RedRover has been a huge blessing and the reason why my Chloe is here today wagging her tail with a pitter patter every morning! She is healing fantastically and is close to having all her stitches removed in a few days! Her surgery was to remove a gigantic, irritating ulcerated, bleeding, necrotizing tumorous growth of unknown origin from her abdomen originally on a mammary gland. I cannot praise these organizations enough! The process was incredibly easy to follow and the efficiency of the lady who helped me named Rachel was incredible especially when everything is so upside down due to the pandemic! I am just overjoyed beyond expression and cannot thank them along with Dr. Deol at French Valley Vet enough for saving my girl and giving her back her life! Thankful, Grateful, Blessed, Hopeful, and Touched by such generosity of others! My Chloe is the kid I never had and I’m so happy to have her home and playing like her old self again! Peace and Love! I wrote to your organization last month in hopes you could help me with a somewhat pricey surgery my Boxer, Taz was needing to remove a mass cell tumor. A member of your staff Nancy, contacted me and guided me through the process of applying for a grant.Taz's grant was approved & he had his surgery at the end of May 2020. Nancy, thank you for staying in touch with me during everything and for caring so very much about me and my boy.
Taz's biopsy came back with Awesome results that his mass was Not benign...hearing Taz had No cancer was a sigh of relief especially when cancer is one of the leading causes of death for Boxers.

I would like to take a moment to brag on RedRover relief. This organization is a true God-sent. They helped save our boxer, Chloe's, life!! Chloe had a large mass on her leg that wouldn't stop growing. When the vet removed it, it was probably a little bigger than the size of a softball. It started affecting her balance, daily activities, and overall health. Chloe is not just our pet, she is a part of our family. I am a single mother of 3 children (plus Chloe) and literally live paycheck to paycheck. So when our vet told us the price of the removal of Chloes tumor, I just felt helpless bc there was no way I could afford it. I started researching and found out there are all of these wonderful nonprofit organizations to help people with their pets in cases like mine. I applied for RedRover relief grant, and probably 2 hours after applied online, a woman called me from this organization, and said they could help. And they did!! RedRover relief helped me pay for Chloe's surgery a week later. Chloe is home now and doing wonderful. Without RedRover relief, Chloe wouldn't be here today.

I will never forget the moment I first laid eyes on her. She was playing with your littermates and bouncing around like a fluff ball, all of 8 weeks old. I knew I had wanted a girl, and she was the last girl left in the litter. That is how Pepper joined our family What followed was almost 13 amazing years of a bond based on love, trust, and companionship. I raised her, cared for her, and trained her, As the years passed and my life circumstances changed, there are times I need her more than ever, and she has never failed me. she has always been there, a constant I could depend on and look to for unconditional love, comfort, she is the reason why my life has been so good. She has taught me how to be a good human. My Pepper girl is the most amazing member of my family.
On Sunday April 26th, our family was devastated, we were out for our daily walk. Pepper slipped out of her collar and chased a FEDX truck. She sustained a broken leg and an a degloving injury to her left back foot. I was consumed by guilt because as a pet owner I believe I have a responsibility to protect my fur baby from harm. And I failed her. As the days have turned in to weeks, she is slowly mended, her bone is healing, and I am beginning to forgive myself. All these monumental hurdles could not have been possible without the kindness and generosity from the red rover foundation. Laurel at the foundation was exceedingly kind and understanding I our time of need. Thank you, Red Rover Foundation, you saved more than just our dog Pepper. I saved me too.

My dog little bear is six years. old one day little bear was feeling off which wasn't uncommon for her in the spring, knowing she would bounce back i treated her symptoms. Unfortunately this was not going away like usual and I woke up on Thursday morning to little bear throwing up blood. My heart sank my dog was very very ill and needed medical attention. I started calling around (my vet couldn't take care of her due to not having the proper set up, farm vet). No one would take us due to covid 19. I called a clinic I brought my other dogs to but it was a drive, I didn't care at this point she needed immediate attention. I was very relieved waterville would see her. They followed all the proper health and safety guidelines for covid 19 while still taking care of my dog,( i'm an aide at local hospital I know the guidelines). When they called me to tell me she needed emergency surgery because she has pyometra, my heart shattered, I could have prevented this by spaying her. I knew I didn't have the money for her to get the care she needed. I was denied care credit and scratch pay. That's when the manager called me to help me with a non profit called redrover. I was so grateful to receive help from this organization, and my mother. With out Laurel from red rover and my mother my beloved dog little bear would not be here. The odds were not in her favor but she made it! She is a fighter and is improving at a very fast rate! I'm so grateful for the help I received, I would have been lost without my little bear and her sisters layla and lola would have been crushed.

I'm just in awe of this organization. Hogan is the little love of my life. I adopted him at 3 years old from a shelter, and he has been with me through the best and worst times of my life. He's 14 now. He recently developed a wound on his right perineum. The vet thinks urine is staying in his fur in that area and irritating the skin. It wasn't visible at all and he gave no sign until the wound was 5cm x 5cm, and deep. I rushed him to the emergency vet, which cost $1240. This is during COVID-19, I lost my job, I'm struggling on unemployment. My vet said the surgery could cost even more than that, and I panicked. I can't let him suffer. I found RedRover via internet search, and I was amazed. I didn't realize a group like this was out there. Nancy called me, and then talked to my vet's office. I may have cried when she called back to tell me how RedRover would help. And, she followed through as promised. I can't say enough positive things about RedRover, and I will promote donations and support at every chance I get. There's no way to express my gratitude, and I smile seeing all the amazing things they have done.

Hi my name is Teresa and I want to thank Red Rover so much for helping me in need. Specially during this time of me not being able to work my full hours to make money to provide for my house hold. During this time my dog/my baby girl Lola was hit by a car and had to get her right back leg amputated. I am so blessed she is still here. She is doing very well!! she is almost back to her self. Adjusting to three legs and back wanting to eat! Thanks again

I am on disability with cancer so money it very tight. I was able to be approved for the $200 and it helped towards my bill. They made it so easy and painless. They really do care about my dog Roxy. She had surgery on Wednesday the 25th and is doing better everyday. Her little buddy won’t leave her side. Thank you so much!!!

My baby (Sheba) got sick out of nowhere. Upon taking her to the vet we learned that it was the parvovirus. I was absolutely devastated and knew that I didn’t have the funds capable of caring for and treating her properly. After spend all the cash I had and maxing out my credit cards I decided to start a GoFundMe with little success. She is my life, my joy and my child. I knew I had to do more. I started searching for emergency grants and after filling out a few other applications, I came across RedRover. I completed their application with little hope and a broken heart. Shortly after submitting the application I received a phone call and had to submit some more information. We were approved for the grant and it is going to help my baby get all of the much needed medicine she needs to get better. I can never ever thank RedRover, their staff and specifically Nancy enough. They have touched not only my dogs life, but also my life. In a moment when I had no one, RedRover came in clutch and had my back. RedRover was super easy to work with, did way more than I had ever expected them to do and they got my emergency grant approved quick so my baby can get the much needed treatment she needs.

Took in a Chihuahua about 5 pounds that was chained up out side ,and had a big hernia and bad teeth . I contacted Red Rover in December they was out of funds and he was getting worse iI scheduled surgery and on Thursday for Monday . found out they was now taking application contacted them and they got back asp .Thank "God" for these Angels ! I will never be able to thank them enough . in one of the pic under his neck you can see were the chain wore the hair off ,but it is coming back now and he has a warm loving home now We love Scooby doo with all our hearts !

My dog Apache needed a surgery for a perineal hernia; without this surgery his life was threatened. He was loosing weight dramatically and had problems emptying his bowels. Redrover stepped in and helped with the cost of this lifesaving surgery. I will forever be grateful to Redrover for their generosity!!!!

My boy Nero is healthy again thanks to Redrover. He snuck out one morning and while he was running free, he was hit by a car. The accident severely bruised his lungs and shattered his jaw to pieces. After his overnight stabilization was all said and done, I didn't have anywhere near enough to have his mouth fixed. When I contacted RedRover looking for help, they were very fast to reply and extremely professional. With their help, Nero was able to have his jaw wired back together.

We rescued Braxton from a very neglectful situation but had no idea what condition he was in until we arrived. His teeth were in need of urgent attention. He had very little use of his back legs. He was severely matted and hadn't been bathed in so long that there were sores under the mats on his body. We found out during his first vet visit that he had a stage 4 heart murmur that would require lifelong medication as well. Braxton had quickly captured our hearts and surrendering him to a rescue was not an option. With so many medical issues needing attention right away, we reached out to RedRover in hopes of getting a little help. They were such a pleasure to deal with and provided a $250 grant to help with his dental cleaning, due to this procedure being our priority. He had his dental and extractions done on 11/26/2019 and is healing great and back to his spunky, grateful, unique self. We can't thank them enough for the assistance they offered us.

My cat Abbey developed a mass under her right arm. She is at least 12 years old and the doctor felt a dental was just as important. Without Redrover I could not have done both treatments. I’m not very good with electronics so I filled out the application and submitted it but two items I printed, signed and faxed. The fax led them to contact my vet and the found my application later that day. I talked to them on the phone. They were only going to contribute $200 and I explained my financial situation. I asked for $275 and they agreed to $250! There was a remaining balance of $54 so I post dated a check to December. Abbey is doing very well and I expect a full recovery.

I have volunteered with Red Rover Emergency responders off and on for 15 yrs. It is always a great and humbling experience to help animals in need. This is due to the diligence and leadership of this awesome organization - both @ the headquarters and on the ground. Most effective and efficient group I've worked with (& I've worked w/ several) and the vast majority of us are volunteers :).

Red Rover literally saved our puppy's life and our daughter's heart. 4 days before our 7 year olds birthday, Charlie was run over, resulting in a broken femur and 2 fractures in his pelvis. The first vet we went to was going to charge upward of $1900 to save Charlie's leg or $800 to amputate, all we could afford alone was to put Charlie down....thankfully with the help of some local animal lovers, an AMAZING clinic and Red Rover, not only did Charlie receive his emergency surgery to SAVE his leg (at less than HALF the cost of the original vet), we were also able to tell our daughter (on her birthday) that, not only was Charlie okay, he was going to be able to come home 4 days from then. Without the generosity of Red Rover, there is no way we could have put enough money down to save Charlie's leg....or save Charlie for that matter, we almost had to give him up to a shelter that would save his leg....until Rachael called us from Red Rover. I'm pretty sure the world gained a future veterinarian and animal rescue gal out of this one ������������ thank you so much to everyone at Red Rover....we will never be able to thank you enough.

RedRover helped my daughter with covering care for her Guinea Pig, Chibs, who had a large cyst on his hindquarter. His incision healed well and his fur is growing back already. He is healthy and happy again!

Thanks to RedRover relief we where able to give our loving dog Harley a fighting chance. He had a baseball size mass on his spleen, which required him to have his entire spleen removed. This picture was taken 2 days after surgery. We are beyond grateful for RedRover relief.

My guinea Pig Oreo’s life was saved thanks to the Red Rover Relief Foundation. Oreo had a golf ball size mass/tumor on her lower front area that was affecting her mobility and overall her quality of life and surgery was her only option for treatment. If she didn’t have the surgery, the ending result wouldn’t of been good. Oreo came into our family’s life in December of 2014 and she has brought pure joy to our family so when we learned that she wouldn’t be with us much longer if she didn’t have the surgery we were crushed. As we all know, surgery is an expensive procedure and my being the only one working supporting a house of six we were unsure how we were going to come up with the funds. I began researching on the internet in hopes that I would find someone to help us save Oreo’s life and I came across Red Rover Relief Foundation. I filled out the financial assistance application and our prayers were answered. They assisted us with almost half of the bill and our Oreo is once again a happy, active guinea pig thanks to the Red Rover Relief Foundation. They saved Oreo’s life and we are beyond grateful for their support and being there in our time of need. The picture of just Oreo is her before her surgery and the one of my son and her is her after her surgery.

Charlotte, an 8yr old English chocolate lab, was abandoned on a hot day in June with no food or water. Hanging from her right side was a 3.5 pound pedestal tumor that impeded her ability to walk easily. She ended up at the shelter I volunteer at and a plea for funds to help with her surgery went out to our shelter community. While I pursued grant monies for her, I knew more could be done to soothe this sweet girl, so I offered to foster her and take care of her after her surgery. RedRover responded quickly to Charlotte's situation and graciously went far beyond what was hoped for - Charlotte has had surgery and now walks normally and is free of the burdens forced upon her through medical neglect and criminal abuse. She is not a run-a-way, but clearly a house dog who is people oriented, gentle, and sweetly innocent. Thank you, RedRover for valuing her life and for helping me to help her.

My best friend Tyson had abscess tooth that snuck up on us very fast,we didn't have all the money right away.hes a older boxer and a great dog,red rover stepped in with a awesome donation ,laurall was so great with her care and help,also geisert animal also did such a great job as always he's doing great after surgery we will always donate to a place like red rover

My cat Smokey got crystals in his bladder, and I couldn't afford the cost for surgery at his current vet. RedRover gave me recommendations to find more affordable vets AND sent $250 so I could afford his surgery.
Had I not found their website I would have had to let Smokey go, so please share the site or donate if you can.

My baby 1yr old pitbull Daisy was hit by a car I was short $300.00 short for her live saving treatment. Red Rover came thought with a generous donation to save our beloved pet. My 5 boys and I are overwhelmed with emotions and we are overtly thankful for you all. Thanks and God bless

I can’t thank RedRover enough for how they helped our family. We had 2 dogs already when my daughter saved a stray from getting hit by a car. She brought her home and she was in bad condition. All matted, had ticks, hungry etc. In the process of looking for her owners we took her to the vet to get shots, flea and tick prevention and a well check so she could be around our other dogs. No one came forward as her owner and we loved her so much already that she became part of our family. We named her Baker :). Baker had a hernia that needed to be fixed.
Recently, I unexpectedly got laid off. Needless to say, money was tight. I reached out to Red Rover and they immediately replied and thankfully they were able to help assist with the costs of Bakers surgery. We are so very appreciative, and words alone cannot express our gratitude. This is a wonderful organization and our family feels so blessed that they were able to make Baker’s surgery possible. Red Rover saved Bullitt's life, without them I would have lost my precious boy. He unexpectedly got sick with pneumonia and was on the verge of dying, Red Rover paid for his hospital stay to get him back to my sweet, baby boy. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2017 and Bullitt wouldn't let me stay in bed and be swallowed by depression. It broke my heart not being able to help him when he was in need, Red Rover helped me with that. I will be forever grateful to them for saving my precious boy.

Red Rover saved my dog's life. My dog Nala is our second child. Nala snuck off and got pregnant. But when she went to have her pup one got lodged in her canal. I didn't have the money what so ever to handle the expensive surgery she needed to live. Red Rover helped with more then they can normally even afford, I cannot express my gratitude enough to this organization. Thank you so much. When I can afford a donation it goes to you!

My little rescue dog Sunshine was extremely ill and plagued with 5 bladder stones which were particularly large blocking most of her urinary tract. She also had a severe bladder infection.

She shivered and moaned with pain and was in urgent need of antibiotics and required open bladder surgery.

I was heartbroken to see her in such pain. She means the world to me. She is a very bright spirit deserving of her name Sunshine.

She's been my companion helping me through many difficult times, recovering from multiple cancers, surgeries, and radiation treatments. Sunshine is always by my side sharing her unconditional love and devotion.

My only income was Social Security and I have very little to go around so I borrowed whatever money as possible to take her to an all-night emergency-care-center. That was when I learned she required much more treatment and surgery.

With what little money I had at the time I was only able to start antibiotic treatments.

Being devasted and feeling so much of a failure to my devoted Sunshine, a kind member of the emergency center's staff provided me with a list of organizations who may have funds available or grants to help people like me who have fallen through the cracks. That small piece of paper became my hope. Little did I know that this piece of paper was Sunshines lifeline for her survival.

I started to follow the information as carefully as possible. I contacted the Red Rover Organization and actually was able to talk to loving and caring individuals who made me feel as if I was someone special, someone, they cared about. I wasn't made to feel like just another poor person asking for a handout.

Red Rover is an extremely well-organized, Non-For-Profit organization. Their staff is kind, thoughtful and very well trained. They asked me to tell my story about little Sunshine and why she should be given this chance for a financial gift towards her surgery. They also wanted to see pictures of my little girl. They really cared about her and they wanted to be part of her story. I was feeling so blessed to have them in my life if for nothing else but for their support and comfort.

After I completed a very thorough application process, Red Rover process my request with great diligence. I was very impressed with their research fact-checking my information making sure we were who we said we were. They checked with the emergency center and also with the surgeon who was standing -by and prepared to do everything possible to save Sunshine's life.

Within a few days, I was approved for a handsome gift as part of the funding for the surgery as long as I continued to find other financial resources.

If it wasn't for their help little Sunshine would not have had her surgery and this very special loving dog would not be in my arms as I write this letter to you.

I had a hole in my heart and thank God to all the people who devote their time to organizations such as Red Rover who open their hearts to people like me.

Sunshines's operation was a success and she's running and playing again. She's still healing and I'm the happiest lady alive thanks to Red Rover. They made Sunshine and I feel very special.

To anyone reading this letter please support this organization and please do everything you can to spread the word so they can continue to help people like me and man's best friends like Sunshine. They can only do this as long as they have generous financial resources from caring people who can donate their time and money to help the needy and so they may continue saving lives of our loving & homeless pets.

This is Mitchell. He had a huge cancerous tumor on his lower jaw. It came about quickly, and I was unprepared for the costs of all the tests and surgery.

Zane, my son, is eleven years old and has Behcet's Disease. Corbin is his two year old service dog. Corbin provides mobility assistance and medication detection. In the fall, Corbin's leg was severely cut. He was taken to the vet immediately. However, Corbin's leg did not heal correctly. He needed a major and expensive surgery at Virginia Tech to fix the problem. Zane's father is a disabled veteran, and I teach school. An expensive surgery was beyond our abilities. That's where Red Rover stepped in. Although we live in West Virginia and Red Rover is in California, they were willing to help. They paid for all of Corbin's surgery and follow-up care. Laurel was amazing--so friendly and helpful! They have given my son his "legs" back. I do not know what we would have done without the help from Red Rover.

This is a truly excellent organization! The person I worked with was SO nice, and the process moved very quickly and efficiently. During the process, I unfortunately had to change veterinarians, which was sad and difficult, but Red Rover handled the change and the new situation with ease, and kindness. I have worked in and volunteered for several non-profits, and Red Rover is the best one I have encountered. They even have awareness and problem prevention programs! Red Rover made a profound difference in our lives - in the life of my cat, Charlotte, and in mine.

Words honestly can not describe my gratefulness. They got back to me the same day and were so helpful and supportive. I could tell how much they cared. My kitty's life was saved because of their kindness and generosity. I am forever grateful.

Red Rover Relief and the person I corresponded with Nancy are just heaven sent miracle workers! My senior cat Belue experienced a spiral femur fracture that resulted in the need to amputate his leg. My carecredit only went so far and so I needed urgent help to get him the necessary surgery. I applied to RedRover with nearly immediate response and was greeted with such a consoling compassionate tone. The process to coordinate with the vet was made easy with Nancy initiating the process for approval to use a grant for payment. I was in such a state of anxiety throughout the waiting period and in the process of coordinating the approval for the grant and preparing for his surgery in every way possible. Nancy was so patient and kind to me and RedRover Relief was able to pay a third of Belue's surgery bill and essentially restored my hope that all will be well. I can't thank this organization enough. Today is just day 1 post operation for Belue but he is making such a strong effort to adapt already. His prognosis is promising and optimistic and with me as his Fur Mama I will do everything I can to ensure his ease of success in adapting and rehabilitating. Thank you, humbly and graciously for saving my boy's life and ending his pain.

Patches was recently diagnosed with DKA, UTI & pancreatitis and was hospitalized for 3 days. We can't thank RedRover enough for helping us save our little guy. Our Patches is so blessed to have you all. We hope that you help more fur babies in the future!

Quasimodo tore both of his ACLs bad enough to where he needs surgery on both of them. CCL repair surgery for just one leg is expensive, let alone two. Thanks to RedRover we are now able to get both of my babies legs fixed! We will never be able to express how appreciative and grateful we are they are able to help us! Especially my Quasimodo who can’t wait to be running around again like normal! The lady I worked with was so nice and just all around great!

On November 19th 2018 I reached out to RedRover because my 5 yr old Shih-Tzu needed emergency surgery . I found out she had Pyometra and had only a few days to live if surgery was not done asap ! I did not even had enough money for the surgery, searching hi and low and was told about RedRover. Thank God for RedRover! Thank You RedRover because of you she was able to go to surgery on Wednesday and on Thursday I could not believe she started to eat and walk around ! Just in time for the Holidays !! A true miracle !Nancy from RedRover had reached out to me the very same day on Monday and took care of every thing for us Thank You Nancy for your love and understanding . My daughter's (12 year old) cat maxi got hit by a car and broke his femur bone in 3 spots and had to have surgery... Our family was devastated and wasn't sure how we were going to pay the bill... Maxi is family and I tried several places with no luck... After contacting redrover I got a response the very next day... And was able to get help with maxi to have the surgery.... He is now home and is instructed to be in kennel for 6 weeks and off his leg... He are so thankful for the help. I was stressed out completely trying to come up with the money. Very thankful redrover came through for our family. We can't thank them enough!!!

We had a really traumatic experience when Sadie ran up an escalator and caught her toe. My husband had just recently lost his job and we have been in a really tight financial position and didn't know how we would pay such a high vet bill. Sadie is the sweetest, happiest, member of the family, and is well known around the neighborhood for always being the friendliest greeter to all our neighbors! We were calling multiple non-profits and trying to raise money for her hospital bills and surgery. Red Rover really came to our rescue in a big way! I spoke to Laurel multiple times who worked so hard on our behalf to get us all the help we needed and went above and beyond to check in on us and Sadie. I have never experienced a more sincere and accommodating group of animal lovers! Sadie go the care she needed and more because of their efforts! If you love your pet and need emotional support for the crisis you are going through they will go to great lengths to make you feel valued and compassionately hear all your worries and concerns. I'm so happy to be able to announce Sadie has made a full recovery and is back to normal! I just took this picture of her sweet consistent smile :)

I was Unable to afford the whole amount of my dogs vet bill for her to get surgery and my vet recommended me to check RedRover out. I contacted Them and let them know my story. They responded back quickly and was able to help us out. Now my royal is on the road to recovery and is doing well. I’m so thankful they were able to help my fur baby. RedRover Relief urgent care program is great! And what they are doing is Amazing!!

My dog Babygirl had chewed her tail raw and it needed to be amputated and I couldn't afford it so I reached out to find someone to help and Red Rover relief was there they are an amazing organization.

RedRover is amazing! I feel like there are not enough words to describe how helpful and kind Nancy is! Our baby Lana was hurt and I felt so lost and devastated. RedRover was there to help right away! They stayed in contact with my vet and were able to help me take care of Lana's medical needs. As soon as I am able to, I will be giving back to RedRover. What a great organization, as a stage four cancer patient I was at my wits end worrying about my support dog a small chihuahua called Dino. Dino developed a huge swelling under his eye and throat and needed expensive oral surgery. Red Rover were wonderful, very fast and very compassionate,

I never wanted for anyone to know how difficult things had gotten for me. I wouldn't ask for help even when I'm hurting but, watching my loyal and loving pet suffer is more than I could handle. Sunny and I met one day when I was walking on a bike path between the beach along the 101. He was tiny and filthy, he could barely walk from his matted fur. Another Persian was found and rescued, I found out by searching Craigslist. I questioned the Rescue in Ojai where apparently Sunflowers sister was taken and being treated, she was lucky and received surgery to remove her eye. The caregiver there told me it was probably a kitten mill disposing of the unwanted kittens. So, Sunny was a GIFT for only me to love. I bathed him and ,bathed him.... and he slept snuggled and exhausted in a towel in my arms and never moved once til breakfast, then slept again till second breakfast. It's fair to say that keeping Sunflower healthy has been the most important priority for me since that day. He has never had the spoiled life he deserves.
Two years ago, a drunk driver hit our parked truck that slammed back into our motorhome. Poof, we are now in a car. We all had injuries, Sunny broke his first tooth from this. Now,he has four more totalling five teeth to be removed. I know the feeling. It is abscessed and he is suffering . The staff at MERCY CRUSADES in Oxnard,California recommended REDROVER to me. Buena Animal Hospital matched the discounted fees offered from Mercy,so Sunny could have his surgery the 28th of June rather than waiting till August 24th. This only gave me five days to raise $930.30. after the initial $159.00 for pre-surgery diagnostic work. BUT FAITH can move mountains. REDROVER and their FANTASTIC STAFF have helped push us up to the summit! The application was something that didn't intimidate or cause me any feeling of indignity. NANCY was so much more than efficient,but extremely dedicated! Always treating us just as if she herself had Sunflower on her lap for a cuddle as he smiles his little smushy face smile.
His appointment is a demonstration of faith AND that I believe in miracles. Now I have proof. Sunny is my whole heart. REDROVER and Sunflower have a lot in common ,they are gifted at bringing joy and hope to the people and pets who need it so badly. Thank you also to CAMARILLO HUMANE SOCIETY and the very awesome BETTY JO who helped with funding ,too. These people unleash UNBELIEVABLE STAMINA. My poor Bugsy, 10 years old had fallen down the stairs, first head over heels then barrel rolled down the remaining stairs, thus incurring a head trauma and collapsed lung. He needed to be put in an oxygen enriched kennel for at least 3 days. I have been out of work for 2 1/2 years waiting on my disability and no money coming in. Laurel at Red Rover was there for us in our time of need for Bugsy and was able to help tremendously with the bill. I will be forever grateful for Red Rovers help.

Maia has been sick for a few weeks now, started out with no eating or drinking. Which I found out she had a fever, started her on antibiotics and pain meds, which didn't change much. A handful of days later I came home to blood on the back of Maia's leg and spots through out my apartment. Took her into the vet for that to find out she had an abscess that burst. So got that cleaned up and brought her home staying on the antibiotics and cleaning the wound every night.

When I got home last night I noticed her abscess had grown in size quite a bit, I immediately starting internet searching on what would need to be done and the cost of it, which I then did two things. I applied for a care credit card and was approved. But I also put in an application to Red Rover Relief, which is a organization that helps covering vet bills when you are struggling to yourself. In the morning I called the vet first thing and they told me to come in to get it looked at. They determined it needed to be cleaned and stitched up.

I was happy to know they could help, but I immediately started to stress about how I was going to pay for such a procedure. I left Maia with the vet and went to work. A few hours into work I get a call telling me Maia's surgery went well and that I should be able to pick her up in the morning. Immediately after I get a call from Red Rover Relief saying they want to help. The amount of stress that left my body from that one phone call is unbelievable, I cannot thank them enough for their help in getting Maia better, and making sure I can keep my best friend and make sure she is healthy.

Red Rover helped our family help our baby girl when someone let her out of our fence when my fiance was in the hospital getting stitches from an injury. We still are not sure if she was stolen and used as a bait dog and then set out and she found her way home or if she wandered off after the gate was opened and was attacked by something. After being gone for 6 days she showed back up at like 4 in the morning and she smelled like someone had dug her out of a grave because her infection was so bad. She has now been treated and is finally out of bandages and still has to see a specialist but she is recovering from an ordeal that the vet said had she spent one more night out on her own she would not have made it as they were not even sure she would survive her first night being hospitalized.

hi , im telling honeys story .honey is a 8 year old chihuahua. honey got sick this year a couple of months ago.i myself have been out of work with cancer cells.when honey got sick i had no money and no vets would see her without money.honey was hurting and i didnt know what was going on.i didnt know if she was going to die or what.honey wouldnt get up or eat or drink.honey is my baby and i was going to find help some way.my sister connie told me about redrover.i went on line and put in my application and in 5 mints i got a call.nancy was so sweet and they agreed to help honey.i found a vet in danville nc town and country.honey has breast cancer now,the vet took one off.thats what was the problem.but honey has a couple more too.the vet fixed her and removed a hernia also.honey is doing great now.redrover saved my honey and im greatful for the angels they have.they are here to help our pets.dont never think they wont help,cause they will do everything they can.redrover is a wonderful place and they help alot of pets.we are from eden nc.thank u redrover for helping honey. carol & honey odell.

Hi friends, I am excited to share with you my experience with Red Rover and the health of my longtime friend baby! He is a nine year old American Eskimo. I rescued him from the streets where he was staying close to a highway and the fence was damaged. The original people who found him feared he would get out into the expressway and get hit. I brought him home and he has been my best friend ever since! This year he developed a huge growth on his inner leg close to his abdomen that hindered his walking and running. My being on disability was unable to afford the surgery to have it removed.
I learned about Red Rover online when searching for any organization that could help. Some of the others I called we're of no help at all!
I filled out my application online and soon got a call from Laurel. She was an amazing and helpful person! She took the time to talk to me and help me make good decisions on what to do with my dog baby and helped me every step of the way with the process of getting everything arranged to help with the cost of payment for his surgery. She went over and above making phone calls to myself and the vet to make sure payment was in place on day of surgery! With my being on disability there was no way I could have afforded it on my own. I am so thankful and grateful for all the great people at Red Rover and the Donors that made his surgery possible!
He can now walk and run again!

My 13 year old Basset Hound had an infection in his mouth and needed 4 to 5 teeth removed. I was placed on unemployment and couldn't afford the vet bill. I had to watch him get sicker and sicker so I started calling around for any help I could get. I finally came across Red Rover and WOW I did not expect the care and concern for my pet and they provided funds to my Vet to help aid in the care my dog desperately needed and now my dog (best friend) will be healthy again. I can't express what it means to have organizations like this in the hard times. Not to mention the caring way they handled the situation. Thank you so very much Red Rover!

I bought my first little dog on fb. When I met the lady to see Her, I knew I had to save her. We have always rescued big dogs so this was a first for us. She everything to me. I became disabled after working 27 yrs doing Mortgages. So we are home all day. She became very sick and I was scared and brought her to a DR vet. We was charged 974 for xrays and blood work. They wanted at least 5,000 for surgery. We don't have this extra money. (I put off the dentist for her) The next day I found a vet who said 600 to 700. I heard about Red Rover and contacted them. I spoke with 2 ladies who was very kind and helped us with some of the cost. What surprised me the most was it was located in a different state. I can't Thank You enough for the help you do for our fur babies. When I get back on my feet I will donate back. She would have passed away without this surgery. My vet discovered that my 2 year old cat, Wilbur, had 2 life threatening stones blocking his urethra. With surgery over $800 and my current unemployment, I didn't know what to do. I contacted Red Rover about my situation, and was generously offered a grant to help with some of the surgery. Because of Red Rover's help, Wilbur is now stone free, recovering and doing great! He is off his pain meds and has been switched to urinary care food. I have noticed a huge difference in his litter box habits- before, he was in and out of the litter box every 10 minutes trying to go to the bathroom, and now he is able to relieve himself fully. So happy and relieved to see my kitty alive and well!! So grateful for Red Rover.

I reached out to Red Rover in need of a pledge for our dog's surgery. She had 2 massive tumors that needed immediate care. Red Rover contacted me immediately and Daisy was able to have surgery within a week. Thank so much Red Rover and Nancy for all your help

My pet Face is family and when he needed surgery it was no Question he was going to get it no matter what it took. Even though I have a very limited income and get assistance from the state I was going to do whatever it took to make sure face was healthy and get what he needs. My sister and I started researching the Internet and came across RedRover and let me tell you it was an easy process with the most wonderful person working there, Laurel she was caring understanding and very informative she jumped right in and got things started thank you so much RedRover you saved my best friend Face

It's been a long 2 days but we r so thankful for the SPCA and the RedRover Relief Foundation! Karma had a golf ball size tumor on her side that enlarged tremendously about a week and a half ago, yesterday she was scratching her side and ripped it wide open. She went in for emergency surgery this morning to remove the massive tumor and is now home recovering and of course getting spoiled!
Between the office visit, the lab work, the removal surgery, and her recovery meds her hospital bill was nearly $1100. Unfortunately we did not have that kind of money to spend, thankfully the SPCA has an income based program called Keeping Families Together that covered 60% of costs! We then found out about another program called RedRover Relief that gives grants to help people with emergency vet procedures. I applied and we got approved for a $200 grant that they send automatically to the hospital...at the end of the day we only paid $282! I can not express enough to how very thankful we are for the help we received!

We have always offered to help these families when space allows, but with Red Rover's support, we can now help these families year round. An organization worthy of support!

My prairie dog was diagnosed with odontoma. Most people would say it’s just a “rodent”. No, she’s family and she shows affection and has her own personality. Surgery for her was very very expensive and this wonderful organization helped me to be able to afford this neccesary surgery to save her life. So so thankful and blessed.

I am so grateful to RedRover whose significant financial assistance allowed me to get a life-saving surgery for my cat, Mylo.
