I am one of the 1St volunteers to work with 10 CAN. Real focus is on the needs of First Responders, Veteran Families & Children. An acre at the farm called "Hero Garden" produced 1000# of food for Blessed Hope Food Pantry & needy families in 2015 ...10 CAN's first full year. There is an after school martial arts class, RAD women & girl's self defense free class. The family homestead is used as an educational working farm. Grade school children are invited for a day on the farm once a month to feed animals, pull veggies, & experience the quiet-nature close to their homes. Buchholz High School Transitional Students enjoy a Agricultural Partnership. Will teach you to grow Mushrooms & sell honey at market from a Veterans Farm. Awesome Business & Community Partnerships have been formed & Sponsors can see their Donation at work. Events like Annual Father Daughter Dance, Mother Son Pic Nic, Survival River Race, & First Responder Banquet strive to involve the community. There are still many opportunities for all to volunteer, donate, attend, & become involved.
I had the incredible opportunity to participate in both a gator hunting adventure and a white-tail bow hunting experience organized by Matt and his team. The network of volunteers and partners that Matt has assembled truly enhances the overall experience for veterans, law enforcement, and first responders.
Participating in two retreats provided me with unforgettable memories and a deep appreciation for the dedication of the volunteers who make it all possible. Matt's commitment to providing these experiences is commendable, and I can't thank him and his team enough for their efforts. If you're looking for a memorable and meaningful outdoor adventure, I highly recommend connecting with this organization.
I'm a fulltime wheelchair Veteran - and I have been to a few of 10 CAN's events - its never been a problem with accessibility. Im not looked at like 'That guy in the wheelchair'. I won the Veterans trip at their annual banquet to go fishing with a sponsor, Bearded Outdoors USA, and I had a FANTASTIC time. I have also gone along on a Gator hunt. I also (Thanks to 10-CAN's staff suggestions) put in for and was selected for my own Gator tags this year, and with 10-CAN's staff, I'll hopefully land one!
10CAN provided my son and I a hunting trip that was amazing. Everyone was so nice, very resourceful, and all expenses paid. We are new at hunting and we were able to make new friends, get great guidance and tools to use for our future hunts.
I haven’t gotten my hands dirty yet. But I see the difference this organization makes and how it changes, and saves lives. Raises great young youth. Helps families. Join today. I did. And there are so many opportunities if you do. Help change lives.
10 Can, Inc. has provided a veteran like myself, who has been eager to go out into the nature to hunt and fish without knowing where to start, the opportunities to meet other outdoorsmen and women that have far more experience willing to teach me with patience, compassion, and laughter. All three of these factors are not only a great way for me to learn, but they provide a soothing relief to a harden soul that society and its warriors still care. I’ve been blessed at each event I’ve attended to not only learn more about the outdoors, but experience the love of Christ through the hands and feet of those who work for him in practice of his overflowing love! Their motto is ET Familia Fiden and I completely felt that in my experiences.
I was first introduced too 10 Can in 2017 and have been volunteering ever since. This organization gives 110% to make sure they reach as many people as they can. Whether it be thru a Deer or Turkey hunt or a fishing trip or survival race 10 can is going to get you off the couch , no matter your ability or disability, they will do everything they can to help people be able to participate. These activities include the Veterans and furst responders families giving them a chance to bond and hopefully heal thru the activities 10 Can hosts. I myself am disabled and I can say I am in a much better place from volunteering with 10 Can , I have found a healing and a new confidence I had lost by becoming a member and volunteering with this Great organization.

This is my 4th year as a volunteer with 10 Can. It has had a huge positive impact on my life. It has allowed me the opportunity to feel useful , needed and wanted while helping others. Things I haven't felt very often since I was injured in 2007 and became disabled. The focus from every member is to help as many people as we can all along with helping each other do just that. The world needs more organizations like 10 Can. I am Very proud of the work we do and of all the people who are a part of my 10 Can family. Lee Henderson

You’re a rockstar bro. Thank you for being there.
I've never worked with such an amazing group of men and women who give so much for others. This rating is a reflection of the volunteers who lead the way in healing heroes, raising warriors, and restoring families through the great outdoors. Thousands of people around the world see your efforts to make a difference. Keep up the eternal work!
The director seemed more interested in spending time hunting for himself versus actually spending time with veterans and their families. I thought I had found a legitimate organization that wanted to help veterans and their families, but instead it seems I found a place established just to fund outings for staff.
Very dedicated and passionate about helping others and showing them how to live life. I have done several survival races with 10CAN and what I like the most about them is there “teach a man to fish,” philosophy.
Ive gained a ton of healing and self growth through 10can over the years meeting amazing friends and getting to volunteer with passionate people.i love everything this nonprofit and how they have given me hand when I need it and not a hand out .The types of therapy they offer is very unique to me allows me to safely push my own boundaries.I came in contact with them at a very rough point in my life, fresh in from a war zone .I blew them off the first couple times they reached out to me .I finally decided to just volunteer with them for a few years when I could.so I did that before finally going on an adventure with them ,that adventure has turned into my favorite event of the year it’s near my home town and every year I go on that trip to Perry I feel more n more comfortable with things
I was contacted by Matthew Burke and invited to go on a gator hunt the following weekend. He told me about 10 CAN, Inc. And their work with first responders and veterans. He took me and my husband out on a guided gator hunt. It was a once in a lifetime experience. The work and ministry of 10 CAN, Inc. is unique and significant to those that they are serving. Memories and friendships were made!
Great group. Went out on a gator hunt with a great guide, tag donor, and another warrior. We saw lots of gators and had lots of laughs. Watching the sunrise over the water was pretty cool as well. Did not harvest one but that’s hunting.
I have seen the amazing work that 10 Can does in two of my children. My son was on a youth hunt where he has had the opportunity to harvest his first deer and a his first turkey. I also was able to watch the smiles of my daughter, a Florida state Trooper as she harvested her first gator. In both cases the volunteers only think of those they are serving. The fellowship and teaching far exceeds any expectations. Thank you 10 Can for fellowship and amazing opportunities.
There it was 10can. So I read up on it and thought it was just another "come and hunt vet group". So I gave it a chance and just happened to be the military duck hunting weekend. I got there early with my camper and started to meet everybody and he was one of the most inviting groups I have ever met. After the first day of hunting we all gathered back to the site and started a fire. I think it was the venison version of sloppy Joe's which was amazing. We all started sharing stories around the fire, basically having church. One phrase that stuck out to me was " hunt the good". It stuck me with me and then noticed that I haven't stopped smiling since I got here. Its been awhile since this has happened and have continued on other hunts and its nothing but the best for mental well being. Can't say thanks enough

I have been provided the opportunity to hunt hogs and an alligator with 10 CAN. I have learned invaluable skills to be able to harvest animals on my own and provide an alternative way to provide for my family. I have made many new friendships through 10 CAN and have connected with other veterans on another level that I might not ever have experienced. I will be forever grateful for everything that I have been able to do with 10 CAN
We attended a turkey hunt. We were there as jeeps to take the hunters out to their stands. I was amazed at the caring attitude and fellowship that I witnessed. Just as a bystander I was amazed at the youth and their willingness to learn. I am proud to have been a part of it. Look forward to more occasions like that that I can be part of in the future.
The best nonprofit I have been involved with. This organization truly loves and respects veterans. I am pleased to be a part of it. Veterans first responders kids the outdoors and most importantly God. Find it all and in almost every state. 10Can is for you.

We’re grateful for your partnership.
10 CAN changed my life and shaped how resourceful my kids can be by empowering them to be able to provide and fend for themselves. At the same time, they taught them importance of being a contributing member of their communities and society with leadership skills and purpose. Forever grateful for their continued support.

We’re as impactful as we are because of fathers and warriors like you. Thank you for leading the charge.

I wanted to go hunting for the first time and introduce my son to the outdoors. Little did I know that this organization was going to be so instrumental in my mental health recovery.
We joined the team as volunteers in order to pay it forward to our nations heroes. Military and First responders will benefit from this organization that does things with excellence.

Thank you for trusting in us.
I am not a member of this group nor a grand philanthropist, but I will tell you I respect this organization more than most. Not only are their causes great, but their values. For one, they will help any veteran/first responder in any way they can. If they can’t do it, they’ll direct you to someone who can. What really grabs me about this non-profit is that they don’t want to simply get money by selling stuff and asking for donations, they earn it. They concentrate a lot on the youth of our nation, and teaching them valuable skills and pride. In the words of their founder, they “want to sell an experience,” rather than a sticker or t-shirt. I have competed in their annual “survival race” for three years now and plan to as long as I am able. I often feel that they have done more for me than I have for them by competing, but they are gracious nonetheless. 10CAN has some incredible values and is one of the few organizations I dealt with where I wondered, “who donated to who?”

Thank you so much for your kind words.
It is not what 10 Can has done for me, it is what I have seen them do for others. We have a small ranch we're we have allowed 10 Can to bring out veterans, their spouses and care givers for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation. While we provide the location it is 10 Can that organized the camp outs, hunting expeditions and other activities for those who might otherwise not be able to experience the pleasures of nature. Matthew Has boundless energy when it comes to doing for our veterans and their families.

BC 1/4 Circle Ranch is one of our favorite partners. Thank you so much for your support and friendship.
10-CAN Inc. provides a multitude of services for veterans,
first responders and their families. As a volunteer, I have had the
privilege of working alongside Matthew Burke and his
passionate and energetic team. One of my favorite experiences
includes the 2015 Survival Race and Hero Fest at Otter Springs.
It was a great day! Check it Out...
It was truly my honor to honor those who have served and sacrificed.
10-CAN, Inc. has grown since then and continues to grow.
Supporting them is my way of supporting those who serve.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
THIS IS A GREAT NON PROFIT TO HELP OUR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES, I SAW FIRST HAND HOW CARING MATHEW BURKE IS TO OUR VETERANS, HE GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT MOST PEOPLE WILL DO TO HELP...THANK YOU FOR CARING...

Thank you for your kind words.
Every encounter I have with this organization is positive, be it events, media presence, or personal encounters with the individuals involved. 10 CAN truly believes in their mission and is constantly reaching out to those in need. I have grown as a person from competing in their yearly survival race, learning lessons that have translated into my personal and professional life.

Matthew65 10/25/2021
Thank you Ben. We miss you guys.
I have never seen a non-profit quite like this, especially not any for veterans. 10 CAN goes above and beyond the call of duty without question. They have created a network that truly helps veterans, first responders, and their families. They offer a large variety of services: martial arts training, personal defense training, therapeutic farming, helping needy families with food, the survival race (my favorite), warrior retreats... the list goes on. I just have never seen such a positive helpful group of people.
10 Can has provided outstanding service to veterans and first responders in the Newberry community as well as the surrounding area! They have also supported families and the local schools. We are proud to have them as part of the Newberry community.

This orginazation provides many in need with the care, help, and energy they need to get back up on their feet.
I have seen first hand what events such as the yearly Kayaking/Canoeing race can do to motivate our veterans, as well as get more people involved in the cause.
10 Can CAN AND WILL ALWAYS be a vital role in the Veteran Community.
5/5 from me.

I'm a Canadian vet. I met the Burke's while competing at the Invictus games. 10 Can brought me in made me feel like family. This is a great organizations and I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much for everything.
10CAN is a difference maker. I first heard of 10CAN in 2014 and since then, 10CAN has made a positive difference in many lives and families. The founder Matt Burke is an inspiration and has one of the biggest hearts you’ll ever find in a person. 10CAN is to help the Veteran and their family, but the one thing no one counted on or at least me the difference Matt made in me. As a supporter of 10CAN I consider myself fortunate to have met Matt and listened to his goal. I highly recommend 10CAN to any of our Veterans and if anyone out there is looking for an origination to support. This is one the ones I recommend.

I have worked with 10 Can now for approximately a year. The organization has been instrumental in helping several veterans from my organization with work and a hand up when needed the most.
My experience with 10 Can has always been positive ans I look forward to many years of cooperation with them . Thank You Matthew Burke. Charles Roseberry, Veterans Protecting the Homeland.
