This local non profit is run by a family with a background in theater, dance, gymnastics, cheer, and many more talents. You will see how a family was raised while experiencing a love for life with The Performing Arts.

I traveled 2 hours to see the January performance by WDC because my god-son was performing. It was worth every inconvenience!! This was entertainment at a level far above "amateur"! The coreography, SPECTACULAR! These instructors ar top notch, very talented! And it seemed they took the strengths of each individual and really made them stand out while serving the whole group and the end result was "out-a-sight" energy, entertainment, artistic beauty. There were some breath-taking moments, some inspiring moments, a lot of just plain fun moments....AWSOME! The behind the scenes crew were fantastic to be able to keep everything rolling from one seamless moment to the next; how extraordinary for a small community dance company!
One of the best performances I have seen including big name/big screen events...and definitely something I will look forward to repeating! Thank you WDC!!

My daughter and son love Woodbridge Dance Company. The instuctors are very creative and talented and place great emphasis on proper technique in all dance disciplines. They have an eye for the individual strengths of their students and seek to bring out the best in all. The environment is very supportive and the shows are incredible.

I have seen every performance this company has ever done and this is by far the best I've seen. The choreography was innovative and cutting-edge. These are some very talented instructors and dancers.
My favorites were the Helen Keller piece and the Bollywood number. Can't wait until next time.

I recently attended "The Coffee House Concert Collection" dance recital on Jan 15th at the Hylton Performing Arts Center by The Woodbridge Dance Company. I have to say, I was blown away.

As a musician, it was refreshing and inspiring to see another form of such awesome expression and art. Some of the performances were hip/cool/fun while others were incredibly moving with full blown explorations of themes and movements. It was fantastic to see kids, teens and young adults putting hard work into perfecting their art and delivering with such precision and incredible beauty. The Illusionist, Joe Romano, provided a fun comic relief inbetween sets. Kudos to the studio's choreographers and instructors for stretching these young creative minds and further developing their amazing talent.

Overall, an amazing show and a great way to spend a Saturday night. What else can I say? You should go see their performances if you can. You will not be disapointed.

My daughter is a student at Woodbridge academy of dance and she loves every moment she is there. I appreciate how the instructors take the time to appreciate each student and help them to be their very best.

Woodbridge Dance Company made it possible for our nephew to express him self through dance,and that is so important for the youth of today to have an orginization that cares for our youth and their interest.The experience we had was great! we were entertained with dance,music,acting and laughfter.Please continue to help the youth by giving them a place to express themselves and have good clean fun.

Woodbridge Dance Company consists of an exceptionally talented organization. The quality of every performance displays a considerable amount of attention to detail in every act. Such a huge asset to the dance and performing arts community. Their hard work and dedication is why every show is of the highest quality. Hats off to all the choreographers and to the WDC team! My wife and I have now attended two shows. This years January venue at the center was spectacular, and the show was performed with great style. It is obvious that these so-called "amateur" dancers and the original choreography were in fact quite professional, and in one case (Helen Keller) also exceptionally moving.

Wonderful performance!!! They have some extremely talented young dancers. Can't wait to see another performance.

This year was my second year choreographing for Woodbridge Dance Company. I absolutely love the organization. WDC is a great way to bring together talented dancers and choreographers throughout the DC Metro area. Through Woodbridge Dance Company, dancers are exposed to a wide variety of dance styles. As a choreographer, WDC allows me to create with no boundaries. I am able to use what dancers I want in any creative outlet I choose. The kids who dance with WDC are a joy to work with. It's amazing to work with such a devoted group who is able to come together through their love of dance. I hope to choreograph for Woodbridge Dance Company for many years to come!

I thoroughly enjoyed the January performance put on by the Woodbridge Dance Company. There is always great variety in the types of dance routines and it is so professionally done and well executed! The program moves along quickly, and before you know it you are on your feet giving a standing ovation for all the talented young performers. What a great creative outlet for the students and I am certain they have an incredible learning opportunity with their experienced instructors.

Woodbridge Dance Company performances are far beyond what most probably expect of a dance show. The talent on the stage is amazing and very professional. The choreography of the pieces performed in the shows is always new and full of moves I have never seen before. It is easy to tell that every detail of the performances from costuming, music, lighting and more is given full attention. I always encourage others to attend the performances given by Woodbridge Dance Company and I have yet to hear anyone say that they were not pleased with the show.

This is my daughters second year with the Woodbridge Dance Company. Her confidence has grown so much and she feels so good about herself. She dances four days a week and is always eager to go. After every class, she runs out to tell me what she was able to do and how Lucetta, Jason and Sabrina encourage her. The January performance was spectacular! I was so pleased with the whole show. The show didn't drag at all. It just flowed so well and kept me entertained. I look forward to future performances.

Woodbridge Dance Company is truly an awesome place for up and coming dancers. The staff are both professional and top notch in their field, whether it be ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, gymnastics or cheer. They make every child feel welcomed whether they are new to the company or have been there for years. What I love most about the staff is they teach children the correct techniques and help them to be the best dancers, etc., they can be. Thank you Woodbridge Dance staff for welcoming my daughter into your dance family!

My son has always loved to dance but began dance lessons at a later age than most. With the support of the staff, in particular, Lucetta Furr, Aaron has already performed duets at recitals and won awards in dance competitions after only two years.

Woodbridge Dance Company's support of the arts and the community has created a positive experience for not only my son, but many other individuals who are happiest when they dance.

The performances held twice a year are of a caliber which entertains even those who are not dance enthusiast. My husband is an example. Reluctantly, he attended the first performance our son was part of. His attention dwindles when it comes to sitting through performances. However, he was left wanting more at the end of the first show. In fact, he has become an advocate of the shows due to his invitations to other family members and friends.

The January 15th performance surpassed our expectations. The venue truly added to an already top notch performance.

Finding an organization to donate money to is not an easy task, but I feel I hit a home run with Woodbridge Dance Company. The performances are always very well done and I feel they are a grest asset to our community.
I will continue to attend the shows and sponser them in the future.

I have been connected with the Company from its beginning. In its seven years the Company continuously grows. Each year and each performance becomes more amazing then the last. The Directors and staff have a gift working with children. They continue to nurture and provide quality dance education to all ages. I am proud to serve as a board member to Woodbridge Dance Company and look forward to its next brilliantly entertaining concert.

Great dance company that tends to put on a great performance with a variety of dance styles. I loved the January performance and i am looking forward to seeing their next show.
