This is truly one of the great animal rescues out there. They tirelessly save these animals and carefully place them in safe, loving homes. They heal, love and stretch their money wisely to do the most good possible. I do not give lightly, but to them I give regularly. They are my charity of choice.

This is our Cujo that we got from ARA, I think we got him at eight weeks and here he is getting ready to celebrate his first birthday When we picked him up, you could already tell that he, his siblings and the rest of the dogs were happy and very well taken care of. I am a Siberian Husky owner for 50 years (7 huskies). I know what it is to face end of life discomfort financially and yet want to give your baby (7 huskies) the best end of life possible. We did that. We provided the best care. When I found this organization doing great work providing comfort to the senior Siberian Huskies I started following their page. I have adopted three of my huskies from this rescue over the last nine years. I will only ever work with this rescue, because of all of the attention that is put into getting to know each and every dog so that they can accurately give me information that best fits my home. they are very attentive, available to answer any questions, even post adoption, and they always make sure to do proper vetting so that these dogs don’t end up back in a bad situation. I’m so appreciative of them and I’m so happy that these huskies have someone advocating for them like this rescue does.
I have so much respect for this rescue group! The amount of Huskies being abandoned in the US is overwhelming. Shelters and rescues are full. Too many people don’t understand the breed and their needs. I can see what a toll rescuing has on the ones who do it. No matter the frustration or heartbreak, ARA has continually saved as many dogs as they can within reason. They are very responsible and in some ways have advantage over other rescues by having the dogs on site. The decompression time, the socialization, the training, and constant care helps these dogs more. The knowledge and experience with scrutiny in adopting out these dogs is a plus for the benefit of the dogs.

I have had my husky Rocky for 4 years. However, health issues and a broken hand made It very hard for me to meet Rocky's energy and I had to realize he needed more than I could provide. I wasn't comfortable with just giving him to anyone. In comes Alley and I knew he would be well taken care of. Alley provided me with updates and photos and Rocky is thriving under her care. Well ARA not only help us get our AMAZING fur king KIBA, who is a beautiful full breed Siberia Husky who purrs when he gets his belly rubs but he came into ARA with a broken right leg that needed $2500+ surgery. They took care of him and rehabilitation kept his spirits up and got him to us ..IN MICHIGAN.. After ARA rescued a bunch of huskies from puppy mills late 2020, they had a lot of puppies to get prepared and adopt out to proper families. Once I heard about this, I immediately started preparing my life for yet another ARA rescue! On December 20, 2020, my wife and I adopted a beautiful sibe that we named AK Diason! As always with ARA, they are extremely thorough in thier application process and did their due diligence in making sure our homenwas appropriate to bring a puppy into with our other pets! I have rescued three huskies from ARA. This rescue is fully dedicated to the health and well being of all dogs. They are especially committed to the medical needs of their animals, including surgical. The dogs are very well socialized and cared for by ARA on a 24/7 basis.
We adopted our Boy Kekoa in 2021 from ARA. They were so quick to respond to us Regarding Kekoa. They made adoption so easy and gave us some training tips on this loving but stubborn breed. Thanks to ARA they saved our boy from a high kill shelter and he was able to save us with his love!
We originally came to them because they had a litter of puppies we adopted our husksador from them such a great experience from start to finish them we noticed an all white husky and decided to go and adopt him and he’s been the craziest but best dog ever we have videos of champ on the table on counters etc but again another great experience and then we decided one more dog we wanted to adopt and the way they treated her and got her ready to be adopted she was great her back story is crazy she was at the puns in ca and they had her in a tiny kennel and she was aggressive towards handlers the rescue decided to go meet her and ar the last minute they adopted her turns out she was pregnant and her puppies a few days later they worked with her after the puppies were adopted and decided to she could be adopted out we went and introduced her to our other dogs and they got along great today all three are still with us and nothing short of amazing with us and we have two kids who they treat like there best friends and the shelter dog on the kennel watches over both of them and now is crate trains and loves to go in hers
While working on Christmas I found a dog wondering the desert in Barstow. The dog stopped in front of my car and woo woo wooed at me. I got out to see if he was injured and he went to the door and jumped in the car, he was exhausted spent the day riding in the truck with me, sleeping. Took him home over the holiday, bathed him and realized he was very well trained. He knew paws, sit, down, roll over, and leave it. This was an American Bull dog chipped. The owner has not made contact so I started calling every shelter I could reach. Most had answering machines and were not answering calls. Then I reached Ally. She returned my call! Even though this is a Husky rescue she took Mushu and will help place him.
We met up and Mushu a very loving people friendly pup jumped right in the car. He knew he was going to a safe place. Much love thank you!

Alley and her rescue saved our baby girl who had a badly injured leg and was set to be euthanized at a shelter. They not only saved her life but also saved her leg. When we brought home our Emi Angel our family was complete. This rescue gives so many Huskies a chance to not only live but find loving families. Thank you Alley for all you do for these pups. Best rescue out there. All three huskies were adopted from ARA and after getting land, we’ll be driving from the Dallas area back to California to adopt one or two more. Alley is the best and we would not consider anyone else to adopt from. All three girls were healthy and in great physical shape and they all get along well with each and with other dogs at local dog park.
Got my girl in 2012. She’s still going strong today. If I wasn’t for ARA and Alley our paths wouldn’t have been this happy. I’m proud to have participated in many fundraisers as this organization is too notch and transparent about all they do! We Wuv wuuu!!!!
I reached out Alley's Rescued Angels last year, and was able to adopt my baby Athena. Alley was friendly and welcoming. She obviously cares about all the huskies that are on her ranch. They were all well taken care of and were comfortable at her ranch. I was able to come up to see Athena a couple of times before I was able to take her home permanently. When I finally got to take Athena home, she was healthy and was sad to leave her home. It has been great getting to be apart of the ARA family!
We adopted Lt. Dan after his previous family abused him causing him to lose one of his back legs most places would have not helped him due to the expense of his surgery but alleys rescue went above and beyond to save him and only wanted what was best for him

We have had a wonderful experience with ARA rescue. We found our pup Sky there 4 years ago and recently added Zeus to our pack. The adoption process was easy and coordination of picking up our newest pup was easy even with Covid concerns.
Alley and everyone associated with ARA care so deeply about their cause. I adopted 2 dogs from them and plan to adopt more in the future. They have even rescued dogs I have forwarded them in the shelter in the past (even a blind boy) ❤️. They do not let medical needs or age get in the way of their rescues. My boy Maverick was said to be 12 and aggressive with other dogs. They rescued him in his last minutes and turned out he was only about 5 and bonded with my girl Charli we shortly adopted after. I cannot thank them and all the volunteers enough for all of their hard work!!! Maverick ended up being such a sweetheart and such a special companion for me.

We meet Ali thru Kyle a mutual friend... we adopted Kiba from Ali and what an AMAZING & SMART DOG. We already had 1 for baby Lexi.. she's a pit bull we saved and they hit it off purfectly...Kiba had shoulder surgery at Ali's and is fully recovered and running around and rolling over for his favorite tummy rubs.. Its not letting me upload photos... but he's AWESOME

ARA is like no other organization I have had the pleasure of working with. First off, they care about the animals. They made sure I was ready and able to care for Eva before I even began filling out paperwork. They gave me a rundown on her medical needs, her care, and what to expect. They stay active in the lives of the animals they rescue, and post updates regularly. If I am able, I support this organization every time I can. They make a difference in so many animals lives.
We were blessed to add another husky to our family and she came from ARA! We found the rescue to be clean and well stocked. We were able to visit with any of the dogs to find the right one for us. We added baby Sky to our home three years ago and when the time is right will go back to ARA to adopt again.
I have been a Facebook follower for years. I have never seen a rescue like this before. You can truly tell just by pictures how well taken care of and loved these precious babies mean to ARA. Without doubt, Alleys Rescue Angels is my hero as are ALL the dogs that have had the wonderful opportunity to experience her ultimate loving care and sacrifice to save their lives from certain early needless deaths. I had the true pleasure of adopting my first husky in 2012, then again in 2015 and 2018. This rescue goes above and beyond all others to save the doomed due to medical and emotional trauma that most others would turn away. I have adopted two pups from ARA and they are super. Since Huskies and cats are generally not a good mix and I have 2 Ara brought the pups to the house to introduce them. Alley knows how to read the dog for cat friendly and has been spot on with both pups. When the first one wasn't feeling well and a stool sample was positive for giardia she said don't buy the meds I will be over with what you need. I now have 3 Huskies and if I could have more I would adopt them from ARA. Left Airo Cassy center and Shasta right. Cassy and Shasta are my ARA pups.

Alley was so helpful and patient when we went to visit ARA. She’s very knowledgeable about her pups and cares for each one. She help guide us with info on personalities and allowed us to visit whichever pup we liked. We found the perfect match for our family and we love her tremendously. My Wife and I have been involved with Siberian Huskies for over 34 years and seen many sad lives involving dogs, it was a wonderful experience when we met ARA Canine Rescue .and seen the new lease on life that have provided to so many dogs and people. We met Them when my 14 year old Siberian medical service dog passed . He had a protege, he had been training for 7 months a male Siberian Husky Jax's who was lost, since he was now alone . after contacting other rescues to no avail. even to the point that one would not allow us to adopt due to the service dog in training being not neutered(note the dog we were adopting was spayed) we were not going to have puppies . Ally seen past that and we met at their Beautiful Kennel. after introducing Jax's to many of their dogs it looked like lost soles had found each other . Jax's and Athena are now a pack with us. they could not be a better fit. when my service dog passed the balance of our pack was off.ARA open their door and welcomed us allowing A wonderful Husky A new life with us. I cant say thank you enough.
A word to to new husky people .Huskies will almost always try to test you to see where they fit in the Family/pack so be patient and teach them . they will follow you, you will earn their respect and they will follow.
I can personally attest that this rescue is top notch and completely dedicated to the Husky breed and finding them responsible loving homes. She does not steal puppies or dogs from anyone. This is utter bs. Her ranch is beautiful and clean. She is a husky saint. Their are few angles like her in this world.
ARA is simply awe inspiring. It’s difficult to put into words just how much they do and accomplish. Their tireless efforts to help huskies in need have changed the lives of countless families, my own included. We are forever grateful to Alley, Penny, and the rest of the crew that make up ARA.
It all started when I saw this big fluffy girl with giant paws on Facebook. It was an instant love connection just from one photo. But I was all the way up near San Francisco. Alley and I messaged back and forth for a few days and then it was settled. This girl was coming home! 2 of Alleys team members drove the pup all the way up to the Bay Area. They arrived around 8 am and I will never forget when they opened the car door. A real angel sat before me, bright eyes and big smiles! She was home!! We named her Torino. As in Gran Torino the car. She started bringing little gifts to the front door. She started small with mice and banana slugs hahaa! Then one morning, here comes Torino with a deer head, antlers included. Then some deer legs, hooves, the vertebrae, etc She had been digging up mountain lion kill and bringing it home. A few weeks later, she was attacked by the mountain lion on our property. She lost part of her lower jaw and a bottom canine tooth. She had surgery by some top drs and she recovered fantastically. She truly is an angel. I suffer from anxiety and PTSD and she comes everywhere with me and has changed my life completely. She is a gentle giant. I wish I had a million dollars to donate to Alley so she could save all of these beautiful loving babies. She works her butt off every hour on the hour to make sure they are all taken care of and go to the best homes. I don’t know how I could ever repay her for bringing Torino and I together. We were completely destined to be . I love all 90 pounds of her with my whole heart. Thanks Alley♥️

I adopted Markus in June 2017 from ARA. Markus was a special needs husky and prior medical case. After communicating with Alley, we felt that Markus would be well suited with my other husky Mokka, and myself. After making our journey to the ranch, we spent an entire afternoon with Alley and Markus, feeling out Markus and Mokka and making sure 100% his special needs would be met. The rescue is the most beautiful well maintained rescue I have personally come across. I've had Markus for over a year now and he has been such an amazing addition to our pack! I recommend everybody that is ready for a husky, to adopt from Alley's Rescued Angels. There is something special about an ARA husky.
I adopted Louie this year in July. Alley was so sweet, informative, and accommodating. She made the process easy. I got to see all of the pups and everyone is so well taken care of. I will most definitely adopt another dog from ARA in the future and I will be recommending them to anyone interested in adopting.

Threat and with a Vancouver Island rescue to widen the geographic span for adoptees is a special feature. I've contacted ARA a couple of times in the past while looking for a husky to adopt. They always replied quickly and helpfully. I had experience with a husky rescue much closer to where I lived, but I wanted to see what my options were. The woman in charge of the nearby rescue, when asked about recommendations, immediately replied ARA. While I have not adopted from them yet, I love the hard and endless work that they do as shared through social media. I have donated to them in the past. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have had a working relationship with this rescue for six years now. We are on opposite sides of the US, but every time I’ve been contacted about a dog on the west coast ARA has immediately responded to look into the situation, pulled the dog as needed, they have paid medical bills for multiple dogs at a time, offered assistance for huskies in the surrounding communities that were in need. ARA is a champion among rescues, and truly a pleasure to work with and partner with.
We were so fortunate to find ARA Rescue when another adoption fell through elsewhere. We found Alley and her rescue organization and were blessed to adopt our first Husky rescue, Zeppelin. We were so impressed with the love and care that Alley gives her Huskies. She works so hard to get sick and injured Huskies healthy and into a forever home. Zeppelin became the light in our lives. Although we could tell that he yearned for a companion. A month and a half later, we drove up to Apple Valley to find Zeppelin a brother. We again struck gold, finding our little Lennon. Every time I get extra money I like to donate to ARA. They do lovely work with all the dogs. They are kind and caring and give them their all. Alley always sees to it that they get what they need. I would highly recommend this organization if you are looking to add a great husky to your family.
ARA is an amazing rescue. We already had a boy husky, and decided that the 3 of us needed to add another member to the family. We went to "The Ranch" which is basically husky heaven. HUGE play yard, very nice Kennels, and a loving caretaker. We brought Ajax to do a little dating, and after a miss with one of the huskies he found the love of his life in Ziba. Alley was very patient with the process, she's a pro, and really only wanted a husky to go home if it was a perfect fit. I couldn't recommend her more.
ARA is the best! We found both our babies, Hilux and Saki, through ARA and we couldn't be happier to have found them! ARA takes all the worst medical cases and as many huskies as they can fit. The world is a better place because of ARA!!!
I am always in awe at how much Alley Ara comes to the rescue to save these furbabies. This rescue goes above and beyond. I know personally as we adopted our boy "Scout", from Alley Ara. He wouldn't be here if Alley didn't respond to a call at 3:00 AM that a husky was hit by a car out in the,desert. She got up and went searching for this injured baby. Luckily she foubd her, she just had bumps and bruises. Took her to the vet. She was pregnant, three days later she gave birth to twelve puppies. We adopted one of the pups. We stand behind this wonderful rescue.

I've followed this rescue closely for many years on social media and love the work they do with special needs cases, severe injury cases and hard to adopt cases, amongst the many many others! I fell in love with a very special case at ARA. After submitting my adoption application, contact was very detailed and Alley made sure to help me fully understand this dogs situation as he was not going to be an easy case! I fully knew what to expect before I arrived and there was no surprises. The rescue is so well done for the dogs and so very well maintained. Truly a hidden paradise for these huskies as they heal and await to find the perfect families! If you ever get the opportunity to meet Alley, you will see that there is true passion in everything she does for these dogs. Above and beyond is an understatement.
ARA has got to be the best Siberian Husky rescue in the Southern California area. Alley does a great job rescuing at risk dogs, rehabilitating them and finding great homes for them. She is very quick to respond unlike some other rescues I wouldn't like to name here. She is absolutely great and I wish her and her rescued pups good luck.
ARA goes above and beyond to help animals at risk, abandoned, injured or lost. Our husky Emery was hit by a car and left by his owner at the pound with a broken leg, destined to be euthanized at less than a year old. ARA rescued him and treated him. They cared for him through his healing process. He is such a sweet, loving animal and we were so blessed to then meet him at a pet fair and adopt him. No pet is too severely injured or ill that Alley will not do her upmost to try and save them, often at her own expense when funds are low. Theses huskies are her first priority always. She makes sure they are healthy, well fed, safe and properly sheltered, with lots of space to run and play. Attached is Emery on adoption day with his leg shaved from surgery and today, with his buddy Zeus.
I adopted my dog from ARA six years ago and it has been the biggest blessing. I'm so glad Alley took a chance and adopted to me especially when many other rescues wouldn't have (I live in condo without a fenced yard). The rescue is always taking cases others would reject for being too high risk. I love seeing all the happy stories from others as well.
I had been contacted by another "rescue" and was asked to pick up and transport a husky. Well after many phone calls and hours of waiting I knew I had been stood up and was now in limbo with this beautiful husky. So I decided to just take the husky home with me and make a phone call to ARA I knew they were full but I needed a plan for this adorable husky. They without hesitation agreed to receive her. The next day i take her to the ranch and i am impressed with the beautiful ranch Alley has for all the dog's. I am now very cautious about where I will transport any dog and I will never work with a rescue that I'm not familiar with again. And the husky named jewel was adopted not long after into an amazing family. I can say with 1000% Alley truly loves these Sibes and has dedicated her life to them. She is truly a Angel!
I had a three year old German/ Aussie pup and a two year old Sibe that were very close. We believe someone poisoned the Shepherd and we lost her. My Husky was very upset and after a week I could see that she had to have another friend. I contacted ARA and they told me to bring Airo down and let her help pick out a new friend so I did. Ally had two young pups she thought might fit our family,I also have two cats so that was also a factor. Airo and Cassy hit it right off so Ally followed us home to see how Cassy would do with the cats. Well Cassy walked up to the younger cat, got her nose swatted and walked away. Well we knew right there that she would be fine so we adopted Cassy. She has been a love and if I could handle a third Husky I would go straight to ARA for another pup, they are wonderful.
In the Summer of 2012, Alley and ARA rescued a pregnant Siberian Mama ... who had 8 Beautiful Babies... a few days after birth, some of the puppies started dying of severe respiratory infections. Alley spent many sleepless nights trying to save them all. I'm so grateful to her et al, for saving our beautiful, white Huskies. My Ayla Dulcinea, her Sister, Nalu, their Brother, and Mama all got furever homes. Alley's persistence and Love brought them through a very difficult beginning. ARA is a dedicated Husky Rescue, the VERY best I've ever known. I will always support Alley and her team in any way possible! Thank you ARA!!!
I had an amazing experience with Alley's Rescued Angels. I had just lost my husky to diabetes 3 months earlier and wanted to give another husky a loving home. I came across the group at an adoption fair and found Emery. He had his left leg shaved with a huge scar across. They informed me that he had been injured and left in a shelter and Alley came in and took him under her wing. They got him the surgery he needed to fix his broken leg and help him recover from his traumatic experience. Needless to say I fell in love with him and after going through their thorough adoption process I took him home. I have and would recommend anyone to them.
Emery is currently the face of Sampooch 2017, a dog wash fundraiser in Orlando, FL.
A little over two years ago we got to meet our girl Brooke. She is a husky lab mix that had to be bottle fed at the ranch. This rescue is by far the best out there. They would do anything for theirs pups or any pup in need. Alley you are amazing!
We adopted our two huskies, Thor and Freyja, last year from ARA. What a great organization! They supported us throughout the entire process, and are available for questions and concerns anytime. I highly recommended anyone who is interested in a husky, to contact this organization. Please don't buy from a breeder.
Alley at Alley Rescue Angels is so loving an compassionate. She rescues Huskies and occasion other pups too. She not only takes the well pups but the sick and injuries. She pays to have these injuries pups brought back to health. She saved our Kobe and Bandit.
This is an amazing rescue. They work tirelessly to help improve the lives of all the northern breed dogs abandoned and dumped in shelters. They take the neglected, injured, abused, and hurt and nurse them back to health. They take the pregnant, the lonely, the forgotten and help them to heal. They do not pick the best and often take the worst cases that no one else will. They are truly amazing and I have been a proud supporter for many many years. The best part is they all find loving fur-ever homes and become part of the ARA family! It is truly an amazing family to be a part of!
Absolutely wonderful organization. There is NEVER any reason to buy a husky from a breeder, when people like this have dedicated their lives to rescuing abandoned dogs. I've been following ARA, and a few other rescues, on Facebook for quite some time as I was wanting to add to our pack of Senior Sibes. When Kiba (12) appeared on the ARA page, I instantly knew he was meant to join us. Alleys is absolutely the best! We got our boy Hilux a few years ago and just recently went back to get him a sister, little miss saki. They are the best kids we could ever ask for! We adopted our sweet Ransom from this rescue. Alley and her volunteers are amazing and EVERYTHING they do is for the dogs and no one else. Her integrity is above any other rescue i know. Wonderful second chances for injured and abandoned dogs. Medical and training to prepare Siberians for new families. Well described histories of the rescued dogs, where possible, and great attention to follow up stories of placed dogs that touch the heart and encourage others of consider adoption. Very creative fund raising events. I look forward to ongoing updates from ARA about their successes, their challenges and sometimes their losses. Alley and the fosters use comedy well in their reports, and often use the dog voice for messages to readers. We learn of the hardwork involved, but never sense despair of unwillingness to overcome setbacks such as the recent widespread damage to the ranch by high winds.
I feel very connected to ARA and am happy to learn they are also working with a rescue in Canada to expand opportunities to find good forever homes for the Siberians. The group is very responsible in highlighting characteristics of this magical breed that prospective adopters should consider and stressing the need for love and care. I am impressed by the number of adopters who return to adopt a second or third Siberian to add to their first ARA husky.

Ara is amazing I got my male husky Dakota from Alley and the second I met alley I was very impressed between the ranch and how she interacts with the animals. To this day almost a year later I still stay in contact with her. ARA is absolutely the best rescue around you can tell how much the animals are loved and cared for. Unlike some places they just leave them in kennels and don't give them attention. I definitely will come back and rescue another fur baby soon enough and most definitely recommend Ara

ARA is a fabulous origination. They are known for taking the medical cases, which most rescues shy away from due to the expense. Alley's huskies (and "honorary huskies") are treated like royalty, and I am proud to donate to the rescue whenever I can.
ARA is simply the BEST! Alley and her volunteers are so great and caring! They rescued "Dasha" now Elsa from the pound. Her previous owner debarked her. They cared for her and got her checked out with their local vet. She was underweight when they rescued her and in need of love and attention. They nursed her in a foster home. She had the best treatment and love there. She gained her weight back. I found this organization at the Pet Expo in Costa Mesa, CA in 2014. We adopted Dasha aka Elsa at the event and she has been a great addition to our family. Alley is very knowledgeable, caring and is always there if you have questions or need emotional support too. She makes you feel that you are part of the family. I would highly recommend this organization to anyone interested in adopting or helping huskies. They are non-profit and everything goes to taking care of these loving dogs; many in need of medical care, some which is very expensive. They are reputable and trustworthy.
She brought her heart and asked our community for help to save my ALPINE. She gave him six months of continued life until the cancer ultimaately took him. He had a burger and a shake, thanks to Alley, and re rested and was escorted with full hearts and love to the bridge. There could not have been a better way to go. Alley, I would be honored if you are there when it's my turn. You truly are an angel.

My Husky was rescued by my son and his girlfriend from Pasadena Humane Society. They were living in a house at the time. When they moved to an apartment, they had to consider re-homing him. I offered my home. Within 1 year, Alpine had developed a tumor in his snout/mouth and it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to eat or even breathe. I took him to ARK Animal Hospital here in Victorville, CA. They performed dental surgery to remove rotted and affected teeth. Upon the 3rd or 4th visit, it was becoming clearer that there was not much else we could do for this poor suffering dog. That's when it happened. While waiting outside with my son, his girlfriend and my eldest daughter, a lady came out and inquired (Alley) what's up with our dog. She runs a Husky rescue and had never encountered one with a tumor in his mouth like that. He looked almost like a cartoon wolf character. We spoke for a couple of minutes and back she went to her business and we to ours. After meeting with a doctor whom assured us that he would not make it to Christmas, we returned home to determine a course of action. Bleak...
I decided to look up this ARA (Alley) on facebook that night to update her on the outcome of our doctor visit. She replied immediately and asked if I would meet her back at the hospital the next day. Happy to say, she not only saved this dogs life with the funds and unwavering concern for Alpine and his family, she has taught us a valuable lesson. If you do not communicate with someone, no one knows what you are going through. If you do, somtimes little miracles happen.
My son is engaged to his wonderful gal. We at home are all amazed and very happy.
Ally is amazing. I have a husky and know what it takes to care for these pups. She has patience and so much love in her heart. She takes the cases that other rescued won't touch. I'm proud to support an organization that does such good work
Amazing rescue ethical and saves beautiful animals from the breeding crisis in Soithern California. Very highly regarded by shelters, rescuers, and dog lovers.
Alley's Rescued Angels rescues many Huskies with medical needs from shelters who otherwise would not have a chance at adoption. They then work with local vets to rehabilitate them until they are ready to be adopted to families. We adopted our Husky mix Asha from Alley's Rescued Angels. She had been hit by a car and then dumped at the Baldwin Park shelter in LA with a broken pelvis and not much of a chance if it wasn't for Alley. We have the utmost respect for their integrity and the work they do.
This is a great organization that does a great job. I love my husky and appreciate the good people that take care of others like her. I understand how hard they are to take care of, but I wish people would find good homes instead of just let them go. Thank you for all you do. :)
I Did tons of research before rescuing our Husky Timber from ARA - they are the best, we have since then, rescued our second Ajax and have fostered for them as well! Alley is great, and makes sure that each and every fur baby she serves, finds just the right forever home!

We are privileged to know Alley and her team for over two years now. She brought joy into our lives - TWICE! we did a lot of research when we lost our first two huskies. To find the right fit, and the right rescue. ARA was it for us! we went to visit the ranch and we were sold. Amazing rescue. We adopted our sweet boy Koda from Alley in December of 2014, one of the best decisions of my life. Koda was from a riverside shelter before he was saved by the wonderful team at ARA. When we came to look at him we could see he had been very well taken care of and Alley had such a terrific manner with all the dogs. In the past year she has taken in countless dogs who otherwise wouldn't have stood a chance (many of them medical rescues) and given them a fresh start. This rescue goes above and beyond to take in medical cases and dogs that would otherwise be euthanized. They also understand the nature of Nordic breeds and educate potential adopters about what to expect, which is very important. Many Northern dogs end up in shelters because people think they are pretty but don't understand that they also howl, dig, escape, eat furniture, etc. I would not have any other breed, but you have to be the right kind of person to be a match for a Nordic dog!! Kudos to a great rescue!! So glad you do what you do.

I absolutely can not believe that one review that was left calling this organization a joke. This rescue is a godsend. Alley is the hardest working woman I know and ARA has become one of the most adored and trusted rescues. I've SEEN her miracle stories and every last penny ever donated goes straight to these beautiful huskies. They even go and rescue other breeds from time to time because let's face it big hearts don't discriminate against fur babies. I've adopted both of my huskies (Maximus and Minnie) from this rescue and will never look anywhere else. These people are ANGELS and a team of beautiful souls dedicated to making a difference.
I support Alley and her team with a monthly donation. I have also given larger amounts for specific cases. Alley takes so many pups in that other rescues would turn away because of the medical costs. I consider her rescue to be one of the best int he country. I live in NH but when I adopt another husky, I will work to get her from ARA. The hearts of the ARA team are the biggest in the world!

Anyone who loves Siberians needs to check this one out. Alley takes in so many Sibes that no one else will. Many of her rescues are medical cases that require surgery and extensive vet care. Alley is truly an angel to these Siberians and without her many would not be alive and in loving homes today.

I have supported ARA Canine Rescue Inc. for years and can say without reservation they have to be one of, if not the, best rescues. Alley of ARA truly cares about the huskies in her charge and makes certain that all medical attention the dog needs is provided by a veterinarian. We adopted our incredible husky boy Bandit from ARA last year after losing our previous dog in a tragic car accident. The experience has been such a wonderful one for us, and we adore Bandit to bits. We keep in touch with ARA regularly, and his ARA foster mom (and ARA board member) still asks about him all the time, and loves seeing him as we live close by. I got my blind husky from this amazing rescue. Alley saved her the day she was supposed to be euthanized. She has been a blessing to us all. I love this rescue more than i can put into words. The medical cases she takes on every day just blowsy mind. She works so hard every day for these dogs. This rescue is herofe and she is very proud of it.

We got both of our husky kids from ARA canine rescue and they are like our children. We love them so much, they have made our life to get more memorable and fulfilling. The rescue is awesome and really care about there dogs and who adopts them. We have made new lasting friends with them. Anytime we have questions or need anything they are there for us. They are professions at what they do and most of all they have dedicated there life to these fur balls and after getting to of then me and my wife have done the same. My husband is a disabled marine. We got our husky Iceman six months before he was medically retired. He is been one of best dogs I've ever had. He is very calm, house trained, and it extremely well with our son who was only a year and a half old at the time. You since then shown service dog qualities and then a very good protection dog. If we ever get another husky we will definitely come back to ARA even though we aren't even in the same state anymore. Allie and her staff continuously amaze me. I have never seen a better rescue in my life.
My rescued husky was dealing with massive swelling in his snout. This swelling was first thought to be an infection so we got our money together and had four teeth pulled in surgery. When this did nothing to help the swelling we went back to vet for more answers. Funds were tight and we knew we could not afford any more surgery for the pup but hoped antibiotics would maybe do something to help since the swelling was interfering with his eating and quality of life. While waiting outside of the vets office a woman walked by and asked about him and asked to be kept in the loop since she had not seen swelling that bad before. After talking to the vet we were told that it was an aggressive inoperable cancer that would continue to cause discomfort and force us to put him down within a couple of weeks. When we reached out to Alley and gave her the update she said that it was not good enough. She got on the phone with the owner of the vet, rescheduled an appointment and came in with us. Alley took over all of our vet bills (including pain management for months) and stuck with us every step of the way. After a discussion we all decided that we should try a "nothing to lose" surgery. This Woman saved my dogs life! Alley paid for two exploratory surgeries and all of the medications and biopsies. My husky is now has NO cancer and he can eat comfortably again (up 8 pounds within the first week or so). Even after all of this Alley has continued to pay for everything! My family donates as much as we can and as often as we can for this cause. If there is anyone who is deserving of help it is her and her rescue. These people have made a difference in our lives that is hard to put into words. Again, this was not one of Alley's rescues, this was a husky rescued from a shelter that Alley had not responsibility for. There was nothing in it for her to help but she decided that our pup deserved another chance. As a rescue that takes in hundreds of dogs and has to deal with their vet and food bills, to take on another dog that was never theirs it truly amazing.

They lie about their rescue stories to con people to get donations. Not as many people want to donate for a shelter dog as they do for a abused dog.
