It all started when I saw this big fluffy girl with giant paws on Facebook. It was an instant love connection just from one photo. But I was all the way up near San Francisco. Alley and I messaged back and forth for a few days and then it was settled. This girl was coming home! 2 of Alleys team members drove the pup all the way up to the Bay Area. They arrived around 8 am and I will never forget when they opened the car door. A real angel sat before me, bright eyes and big smiles! She was home!! We named her Torino. As in Gran Torino the car. She started bringing little gifts to the front door. She started small with mice and banana slugs hahaa! Then one morning, here comes Torino with a deer head, antlers included. Then some deer legs, hooves, the vertebrae, etc She had been digging up mountain lion kill and bringing it home. A few weeks later, she was attacked by the mountain lion on our property. She lost part of her lower jaw and a bottom canine tooth. She had surgery by some top drs and she recovered fantastically. She truly is an angel. I suffer from anxiety and PTSD and she comes everywhere with me and has changed my life completely. She is a gentle giant. I wish I had a million dollars to donate to Alley so she could save all of these beautiful loving babies. She works her butt off every hour on the hour to make sure they are all taken care of and go to the best homes. I don’t know how I could ever repay her for bringing Torino and I together. We were completely destined to be . I love all 90 pounds of her with my whole heart. Thanks Alley♥️
