My Wife and I have been involved with Siberian Huskies for over 34 years and seen many sad lives involving dogs, it was a wonderful experience when we met ARA Canine Rescue .and seen the new lease on life that have provided to so many dogs and people. We met Them when my 14 year old Siberian medical service dog passed . He had a protege, he had been training for 7 months a male Siberian Husky Jax's who was lost, since he was now alone . after contacting other rescues to no avail. even to the point that one would not allow us to adopt due to the service dog in training being not neutered(note the dog we were adopting was spayed) we were not going to have puppies . Ally seen past that and we met at their Beautiful Kennel. after introducing Jax's to many of their dogs it looked like lost soles had found each other . Jax's and Athena are now a pack with us. they could not be a better fit. when my service dog passed the balance of our pack was off.ARA open their door and welcomed us allowing A wonderful Husky A new life with us. I cant say thank you enough.
A word to to new husky people .Huskies will almost always try to test you to see where they fit in the Family/pack so be patient and teach them . they will follow you, you will earn their respect and they will follow.
