IHI provided a number of training sessions to our team of child friendly space facilitators over the past few years, and continues on as a trusted partner even as the space has transitioned to another organization. The IHI staff and volunteers are always professional, dependable, and incredibly effective in equipping and inspiring trainees to do the best for the community. Best of all, they care deeply and look for meaningful ways to work with the community, care providers, and project leaders.
I have had the privilege of working closely with In His Image International over the past year or so, and I have been blown away by the dedication this non-profit has to the goal of reaching under-served communities around the world. They have made it simple to partner with local organizations in developing countries that share in the vision of improving the lives of the most vulnerable people so that they might experience life in a meaningful way. I firmly believe in empowering people to help themselves and this organization strives to do just that. I love supporting this organization because I am confident in their impact!

I had the pleasure of completing an internship with iHi that ended up providing much more than I expected. Chris, the President and CEO, provided excellent mentorship and support, while showing how to balance the logistics of the organization’s projects with its focus on working directly with those it serves. It is clear that their model is one of servant leadership, that they are guided by humanitarian values, and that they keep cultural sensitivity as an important focus of their work.
While their work is carried out by volunteers, the organization values quality and integrity in all that they do, and their team is comprised of highly qualified experts. Rather than providing handouts to communities as temporary fixes, iHi combines its services with education based on the needs identified in cooperation with local stakeholders, thereby providing sustainable solutions to the critical needs that exist among vulnerable populations in some of the world’s most vulnerable regions.

In January 2018 I went to Uganda for the first time with IHI to help the VIP'S ( vulnerable international people) not sure of what we would be doing or what we would see. I am a nurse and while there I saw so many children and a few adults that needed help with a multitude of issues. The children needed most of our attention and help. We were able to provide wheelchairs,neck braces,chairs and strollers to some children that prior to our visit had never Sat up and saw the world from an upright perspective or been able to leave their home. I saw mothers and fathers carry their child miles on their
Backs to hopefully get help. We worked long days seeing as many as we could each day and helping as many as our resources and funds would allow. At the end. Of our stay I was humbled and blessed to have met these people and to have them touch my life and heart. There were days of trying not to cry and days filled with laughter as the children smiled and sang. I look forward to returning and helping again. All of your help and donations are appreciated.

I support iHi International’s mission to empower Vulnerable International People around the world through monetary donations and donations of time and expertise. It is so meaningful to hear and see the gratitude from each person empowered by this organization, but more important is the long term impact iHi has on VIPs. Volunteers are going where the needs are, and providing the tools and education necessary for families to support their loved ones today, tomorrow and for years to come.
