Bill Taylor and SE Asia Foundation has offered many scholarships to our girls at the Good Shepherd Youth Center. Many girls have had success via this education and gotten jobs to take care of their families. As the UN says, “to help one girl to have education it means to help the whole family. If you want to change the world, work to children or women”.

At Wildflower Home Foundation, SE Asia Foundation has continued to give scholarship to our young girls to finish their education at the university level. One of our girls, Beam, has finished teacher training university. Now she has a job as an English teacher in a government school. She is very happy to teach the poor children in the small village in the mountains in the Mae Hong Son province without your help she won’t be able to teach English to the poor children in the small village. Over the years, The Global Child School has been incredibly grateful for the support of the Southeast Asia Foundation (SE Asia Foundation). Their mentoring program has enabled us to reach over a thousand students in a rural village at Lvea Primary School, Siem Reap.
More than just mentoring, this program has fostered a strong connection between students' parents and teachers. We've been able to train parents on financial literacy, child development, and fostering a growth mindset. Additionally, we've facilitated communication between parents and school officials.
We've seen a remarkable impact, with nearly 70% of student participants being female. This program would not have been possible without the invaluable support of the SE Asia Foundation.
With deepest gratitude,
The Global Child School

I am a Circle of Hope donor who gives a recurring donation. Great charity that helps poor girls in developing countries go to school, get a degree and eventually a job; also teaches villages to grow their own food and to take care of themselves, and much more. The best thing is that 100% of your donation goes to the people who need help the most. Kudos to Bill Taylor for founding his charity.

This is a very great foundation which provides much support to grassroot organization. We love working with SE Asia Foundation. Keep up your great work!!
We have been supporting SE Asia Foundation for over 10 years. No other organization that I know of uses their funds more productively than they do. Bill Taylor, one of the leaders has devoted his life to seeing that the funds go directly to projects that benefit in many cases young women and education. I feel as if every dollar I give is like giving $10 because the money is so carefully utilized. Bill and his team are there on the ground making sure that the dollars are spent directly on the projects. I am so grateful for their work and that I can be a part of it. I wholly support their work!
SEAsia Foundation are a partner NGO to us in Siem Reap, Cambodia. They are very responsive to need, especially during the pandemic, they supported so many grass roots, emergency response projects to ensure clients and families could get their basic needs met. SE Asia Foundation do great work supporting access to education and they are incredibly supportive and collaborative with other NGOs in the region.
This is the most amazing nonprofit organization I give to. All the administrative costs are covered by the founder so that every single penny I give goes to the people we are assisting. The people determine what their goals are and what they need, not the organization, and projects are constantly evaluated to see that they are run effectively.

I have personal experience with this amazing organization that runs on love. I know Bill Taylor, the man who leads SE Asia Foundation, and have spent time with him on a trip. He has a wonderful philosophy with the groups he helps. He facilitates local projects, guiding communitees to find their own solutions to problems. He also vets projects to make sure funds are used as planned and produce the agreed results. SE Asia Foundation aims to support usually small organizations to give them some help when they need it, but not be the main or sole source of financial income. Every penny you give to SE Asia Foundation goes to the recipients; none goes to administrative costs, which is amazing. I have received personal emails and videos from organiations I have given to, and it is so touching so see how great a difference even a small amount of money can make in people's lives. The smiles will melt your heart.
Bill Taylor is a very positive energy helping many groups in Thailand and other countries. I was fortunate to meet Bill in 2018 while we work to support some of these same groups. My wife, Mali, and I have volunteered our time and energy as well as acted as a donor to projects urgently needed. God bless SE Asia Foundation for their help.
Supporting the work of Bill Taylor and the SE Asia Foundation is a heartwarming and positive experience! I trust and admire the work of their teams in the US and abroad, and am grateful to be a part of their community. Thank you!

This is a wonderful organization. 100% of your donations go directly to the recipient. I was able to sponsor a very deserving young lady in Thailand through college for a nominal investment and she is thriving! This is the best non-profit I’ve worked with!
Our experience with SE ASIA FOUNDATION
We have known Bill Taylor for more than 10 years. We are very grateful and thanks to your support, the girls are able to have a better education up to finish the university.

With your support everything went will and we felt very heartened heard a few comments from Social Welfare Department.."I feel at home when I came here"

Bill Taylor and SE Asia Foundation are innovative with their funding of various NGO’s. They believe that local stakeholders need to have skin in the game to eventually become self sustainable. They thoroughly vet the organizations and ensure that every dollar counts. They not o ly find organizations but provide much needed training and guidance.
SE Asia Foundation is a unique organization that entrusts their partners to use the funding and support where needed. They believe in helping people to help themselves and have build NGO coalitions and regular trainings beyond providing financial support. As a result, organization like the one I work for benefit from a thriving community of NGOs sharing skills, challenges, and needs with each other. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, SE Asia's Foundations support ensured that our youth were able to stay in school and continue their studies and not have to worry about going hungry. s an organization that benefit with the underprivileged very much who supports and gives opportunities to all classes without distinction of caste
One of the great foundations I’ve ever encountered and I’m very grateful being part of it.In order to achieve all the SDGs and grand ambitions for humanity, we truly needed this kind of small in size but making real changes on ground level foundation such as SE Asia Foundation.
I have worked with Bill Taylor and the SE Asia Foundation for several years and have always found the experience to be highly valuable. The Foundation is ethical and adheres to its stated goals of providing benefit to girls and women in need through education and economic stability. Religion or the lack of religion plays no part in Bill's decisions with regard to assistance. Humanity, need and a willingness to participate in improving one's own life is the key.
Currently, we are cooperating on two separate projects with a third waiting for further information before implementing a plan of action.
I highly recommend Bill and SE Asia Foundation for the work they have done and continue to do during these trying times of Covid.
Great nonprofit. Great leadership. Great approach that focus on sustainability and empowering local NGOs to alleviating poverty through education and social enterprises.

Dear All donors,
SE Asia Foundation is a fabulous foundation and doing an amazing job in southeast Asia. SEAF is not only doing funding for local NGOs, Bill has done a wonderful job to empower those NGOs to be sustainable and coaching them based on their strength. My name is Leangseng, Director of the Cambodian Community Dream Organization in Cambodia. Our organization grows very quickly when we start working with SEAF and having Bill coaching us to do the right things. SEAF also helps to build a powerful community call "Cambodian Leadership Learning Community", this group is gathering around 30 NGOs to have a monthly meeting to share issues/challenges, best practices, funding, and mentoring leadership and management. We can't express how beautiful SEAF is! We love SEAF, and Thanks for your donation to this foundation, All your money reaches the beneficiaries 100%. Thank you so much!
Best Regard, Leangseng HOY, CAMBODIA
This is an amazing foundation! They support the communities that we work with true care and love. They also provide us with coaching, support, and listen to our community needs that are very important to us. They treat us like a friend that makes us more comfortable to work with. We love working with SE Asia Foundation.
I am an American citizen who has lived and worked in Cambodia for 11 years. In that time, I have worked with large and small international aid organizations. Through this experience, I have become aware of the importance of working directly with organizations that meet the needs of the most needy directly. The SE Asia Foundation is one of the few organizations that truly meets the needs of the most vulnerable groups of the Cambodian population. This is not a top heavy organization with large administrative cost. SE Asia Foundation is a well run grassroots organization working directly with the most vulnerable segments of the Cambodian population seeking to promote the education of women and reduce poverty.
SE Asia Foundation is feeding children so they can learn at school. They teach non profit organizations how to become more sustainable. Plus they have no administrative overhead -- every cent goes to their mission.
Our Rotary Club has used Mr. Taylor and SE Asia Foundation for a number of our club's international projects. A number of other clubs in our District has also used Mr. Taylor's projects to complete their own international projects or have joined us to support our club's projects. At a District Conference two or three years ago, four clubs in the District used a SE Asia Foundation project we pioneered as their International Project. Imitation is the sincerest form of praise.
What an unselfish and generous man....Bill was a very successful business leader. Then he put his considerable talents to work to build the SE Asia Foundation. He has used Rotary International connections in Thailand and others to find able local leaders with worthy projects, Bill connects, evaluates, advises and raises support dollars quietly from his USA network (us included), Our small Rotary Club of Edmonds Daybreakers has proudly led the effort for a District grant which outfitted a computer lab for Asian teens. These kids learned marketable skills AND got jobs! Otherwise they would be working in rice paddies. Plus Bill takes no money himself, he travels on donated travel miles, several times a year. No staff or development costs, we are proud to call him Friend. The SE Asia Foundation is truly superb.
I have been following them and supporting their work from the start. Lean and focused and very hands on.
The SE Asia Foundation has literally changed the lives of children in the rural areas of Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar. The Foundation’s focus is on education, since in those areas education is mostly primitive and brief, especially for girls. With no other choices, the future will likely find a child up to her knees in a rice paddy or making and selling cheap trinkets for tourists. Worse, she could be selling herself in the red-light cesspools of a big city.
The SE Asia Foundation focuses on the education and training that can lift these children out of poverty and into a future of hope, productivity and self-reliance. The world gains an educated, self-reliant young woman and the family grows intellectually and financially at the same time.
One hundred percent of every dollar the foundation receives goes directly to the high-performing organizations they work with. It does not depend on any donated funds for their operating expenses, which are independently funded. And of course, the SE Asia Foundation is a U.S. 501(c)(3) Public Charity so all donations are tax-exempt.

I have worked with this foundation as an outside advisor almost from its inception so I have a highly detailed (if possibly biased) view of how it operates. It started out as a personal effort to help young girls in Bali go to school and avoid a life of standing in rice paddies all day. Initially, the effort was focused on a single organization and funded entirely by the founder.
After seeing how getting an education transformed these girls lives, the founder decided to scale up his efforts to other countries in Southeast Asia, including Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand. In each country, he has recruited local sponsors for his projects, selecting trustworthy individuals who already had projects in place and were in a position to extend their work to aid more children. But he didn’t just drop money on them; he spent many days on site over repeated visits, providing business consulting on how to organize their projects, measure their progress, and increase their impact over time. My own view is that, as valuable as the funding is to client organizations, it’s the hands-on business guidance that is most responsible for his successes.
Over the ensuing years, the founder had expanded his team to bring additional expertise on the ground and to solicit charitable contributions to supplement his own spending. Yet he still does everything on a pro bono bias; at no point has he taken any compensation for his efforts, and when he has to pay people for their services, he takes the funds from his own wallet. This makes the SE Asia Foundation one of the few charitable organizations I’ve ever seen with zero percent overhead; every dollar that is contributed to this fund goes directly to the people it helps.
If you have the opportunity to work with this organization, I strongly encourage you to do so. It serves a great cause and it carries out its mission efficiently and effectively.
The South East Asia Foundation (SEAF) has been a partner to our organisation (CFI) for the past three or so years. The staff at SEAF are incredibly supportive. They offer professional development, advice and encouragement helping us to think about and plan for our long term stability as an organisation.
As partners we are both committed to ensuring young women receive first class education to support their future and that of future generations.
SEAF are honest, trustworthy, and passionate about what they do. We truly value their partnership and are grateful for their support.
A fantastic nonprofit. Supports many NGOs and makes a measurable difference to the lives of many.
Highly rated.
My name is Tammy Durand, founder of a small non-profit organization in Siem Reap Cambodia.
SE Asia Foundation has been a life line for US!
Their workshops on management, sustainability, communications and MORE, have been of world class standards.
They offer coaching and mentoring to hundreds of grass-roots organizations that is unparalleled, bringing access and success to countless members and,in turn, to their thousands of beneficiaries.
They look beyond the issues and assist IN creating solutions, through their grants as well as their teachings.
The founders of SE Asia Foundation are true catalysts of CHANGE. The difference they are making in an often broken world is inspiring and I am so very honored to be affiliated.
We have been partner for years and our team at Build Your Future Cambodia have received trainings and support from this worthy organization. We gained lots of good and new ideas from their contributions so far. And we admired and appreciated they have served greatly to help impoverished people of different nations with great impacts.
I have known SE Asia Foundation for 4 years already in which they have mission in South Eath Asia. I am Leangseng HOY, Executive Director of Cambodian Community Dream Organization in Cambodia, really appreciated its work in Asia Countries. I have learned a lot of business/social enterprise models and how to keep our organization being sustainable. SE Asia Foundation assisted to set up the Cambodian Leadership Learning Community (CLLC) in Cambodia in which there are around 30 NGOs in this group that they could help each other in leadership, grant, communication, coordination...etc. Our organization grows up very fast in the last few years since we know the SE Asia Foundation. Bill is a greatest leader and coaching us to become an amazing organization. I can't express all the great work of SE Asia Foundation, and I am free to give detail via this email (director@ccdocam.org) if you need more information. I would like to tell the world that SE Asia Foundation is the best foundation that I haven't known in my life. Thanks, SE Asia Foundation!
SE Asia Foundation helps local grassroots organizations to do the work they are best suited to do. With a focus on empowering girls through sustainable initiatives, the Foundation is prepared to make investments in local people so they are the agents of change.
With many years of experience in SE Asia, I would highly recommend the SE Asia Foundation.
I was introduced to Se Asia Foundation's work through a trusted colleague of mine. Their work exemplifies network leadership that invests in grassroots leadership and capacity to enable local communities and their leaders to address their own challenges. Se Asia Foundation is a true supporter and enabler of local initiatives and fostering networks among them.
We have been supportive of the SE Asia Foundation for many years. The work they have done has been live-changing for so many and the fact That their leader Bill Taylor works pro bono and insures that funds donated go for the work and not for bloated fund raising efforts or overhead means a lot to us. Great organization doing good that deserves our support.
I've worked with Bill Taylor and SE Asia Foundation since 2012. Bill and SEAE find well-run projects to support that yield the highest results for the money donated. Bill is top-notch and has high standards in everything he and the foundation does.
Though small, this nonprofit is efficient and effective. Bill Taylor personally checks on all projects and continuously evaluates them, providing guidance, coaching, and course correction where necessary. He covers all admin expenses, so every single dollar of your donation goes to the beneficiaries. It is rare to find someone with a business sense who aims at achieving sustainability for all the beneficiary organizations, literally teaching them how to fish instead of giving them fish.
We are fortunate to have been partnered with the SE Asia Foundation for several years already. Working with Bill is a pleasure, as whilst he ensures that our governance is up-to-scratch so donors know their funds are being used appropriately, he understands that we are best suited to serving our community. He trusts us to do the work and to know what is best for our people, and has funded projects that other donors may find too 'boring', when in reality, they are a necessity for our survival. We highly recommend Se Asia Foundation as a reputable nonprofit who is doing great things.
