I would like to express my utmost appreciation for the exceptional service provided by your company. Your prompt response and efficient handling of our mold problem and subsequent flooding incident were truly remarkable. Despite the challenges we faced, your team demonstrated unwavering dedication and professionalism throughout the entire process.I was initially unaware that I was not responsible for the damages incurred due to previous issues with the toilet. However, thanks to the expertise and guidance of Blair and Heather, they swiftly resolved the matter by attending meetings and ensuring that housing assumed financial responsibility for the repairs.I am profoundly grateful for the support and assistance provided by your entire team. Your hard work and dedication have been instrumental in resolving this situation. Thank you for your outstanding service.

Fort Benning, GA resident here. We have been without dishwasher for almost two months and my patience was running very thin as all I could receive over the phone was “It is a warehouse issue, at this time we can not help you at all”.

My neighbors were 6 months without a dishwasher and I was dreading it could be us too.
I’m so grateful that my friend knew about you guys and she sent me a form to fill out and 10 minutes later I got a text from a local team member and my case was moving right away.

I received a call from housing a couple of hours later double checking my address for a sweet delivery and 30 minutes later I had a brand spanking new dishwasher installed in my house.

This is the first time I had to take measures rather than phone calls in my hands and I wish I didn’t have to. But also there is probably a way to make it work, so residents don’t have to wait months for new appliances. I hope they find it.

We were having a really hard time getting our shower fixed on Fort Moore. The tiles started falling off leaving just a concrete slab. We started the maintenance requests in June and by August after follow ups and more requests we still weren’t getting anywhere. I contacted the housing coalition and sent them pictures and all of the information. The next week I had a contractor at my house to start the project. They also helped me during the whole process of getting it fixed and sending them updates because we were having problems with the contractor. A 3 day project turned into 2 weeks. They also made sure to have someone come check that the work was completed correctly. This is an invaluable resource and we are so thankful this exist otherwise I don’t know if issues would actually get resolved.

We were having an issue with mold in our bathrooms and housing was dragging their feet to come clean it up for us. We began having symptoms of congestion and coughing. The maintenance team wasn’t giving me any info or updates on what the plan was. I contacted the Military Housing Coalition using their form, and within 30 minutes I had a call from housing management to talk about promptly resolving our issue. The next day someone came out to clean it up and a team came out to throughly inspect our home to remediate the issue. I just wanted a safe environment for my kids, and we are so grateful for Heather and her team for taking action and advocating for us. Can’t recommend them enough.

I had a very rough experience with the overall housing associates on Fort Benning. While going through a really bad divorce, my ex wouldn’t leave my home. She contacted the chief of housing and the village manager making false claims to get people to feel bad for her and sustain all of the hate for me, costing me time and money. Everyone sided with her and without speaking to me at all, the chief of housing got involved with my divorce, my lawyers, and the judge, resulting in costing me 2 full days in court and upwards of $2,500. After a big investigation, my ex was found guilty of emotional spousal abuse and all of her lies came to fruition. Upon her exit, she utterly destroyed my on post home and all of my things inside and then housing had the nerve to send me bills after costing me so much money with court and involving themselves in something they had zero business being involved with. After the dust settled, I contacted the Military Housing Coalition on Facebook, shared my story, and within maybe 15 minutes Blair got back to me and was ready to help. I ended up getting all of the fee’s waived, they came out and changed my locks, reprogrammed my garage doors, and I got to sit down with the chief of housing and their regional management team where they formally apologized to me and regretted getting involved in my personal life behind my back like I was some type of criminal. I am extremely grateful for The Military Housing Coalition and all of the work they do to help out families in need. Thank you so much again for being so involved and helping me when there was no one in my corner!

Blair was able to get in contact with the right people for our maintenance issue to be addressed. We initially submitted our work order over 30 days ago, after contacting Blair we had maintenance at our home the next day to work on our problem. I appreciate her working on my behalf during this process, as well as keeping a line of communication open between her and i throughout getting my work order solved!

We were living on an Army base in Georgia, and had consistent issues with the condition of our unit. We only lived there 3 months before breaking the lease and finding another place to live. I came across this organization by chance, and found out that we might not be liable for the early lease break fees due to the nature of the issues in the unit. We filled out the request for assistance document, and things kicked into high gear. Within a coupleofdays, a senator was involved and a congressional inquiry was initiated. Less than 2 weeks later, we found out that our move out fees had been waived and we would not be charged for breaking the lease early!
If you're having issues with base housing, 100% contact the Military Housing Coalition. They're here for us and actually care about what's happening to military families.
