I was honored to volunteer as Case Coordinator with MHC. Getting to witness the 'behind the scenes' operations showed me just how genuine and relentless this team is about helping military families. The huge highlight for me was working alongside Heather and Blair assisting military families with their housing needs. They were incredible mentors who truly lead by example. It was a privilege to play a part in helping families find safety and support. If you are looking for a nonprofit that operates with integrity and heart, this is it.

After the birth of our son we did not know where to turn. our son was 28 week and 2lb. Mandy Booth helped us with gas. and when he could finally wear clothes she helped us also. the biggest hit was needing a 4lb carseat she helped with that also. we do not know what we would have done without her and all of her suport.

I had the pleasure of experiencing the breathtaking performances presented by Alabama Dance Works. As a dedicated patron of the arts, I was truly captivated by the company's unwavering commitment to their craft and their meaningful contributions to the community.<br><br>From the moment the curtain lifted, it was evident that ADW had mastered the art of storytelling through movement. The dancers exuded grace, precision, and an undeniable passion that effortlessly translated into powerful narratives. Each performance was meticulously choreographed, showcasing a remarkable blend of technical expertise and artistic expression. It was a true feast for the eyes.<br><br>What makes Alabama Dance Works truly exceptional is their commitment to using dance as a tool for positive change. They actively engage with the community, reaching out to underserved populations and using dance as a means of empowerment and healing. Through their outreach programs, they create opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds to experience the transformative power of movement. This dedication to social impact is truly commendable.<br><br>Furthermore, the professionalism and cohesion among the dancers and the production team were evident in every aspect of the performances. The seamless coordination, exquisite costumes, and carefully crafted lighting enhanced the overall experience, elevating each piece to new heights.<br><br>It is worth noting that ADW stands out not only for its artistic excellence but also for its transparency and responsible stewardship of resources. The organization's commitment to financial accountability ensures that the community's support is utilized effectively to further their mission and make a lasting impact.<br><br>I left the performance with a renewed appreciation for the beauty and depth of dance as an art form. Alabama Dance Works has successfully established itself as a shining beacon of creativity, compassion, and community engagement. I wholeheartedly recommend attending their performances and supporting their noble endeavors. They are undoubtedly a treasure within the world of dance, leaving a lasting impression on both the audience and the communities they serve.

Let me share a short story. In 2008 I found out I was pregnant with Jeffrey in CT and I joined Positive Parenting to learn more about Parenting because I wanted to provide the best for my kids. I also went through the program with my other son DJ with my husband. They provided resources, earned gift cards and basket full of items for the boys. My Parent Aide Mallory was so amazing, she uplifted me, and went to child support court with me because I was so nervous. I told her one day I want to do this. I wanted to do this program and bring it to Dothan. Little did I know we already have it. When I was hired at ECCAP and they mentioned it to me we have the same program. I could cried!!! <br> <br>Not only have I been watching Pam Miles Director of ECCAP for years and admire her work. I attended Lunch and Learn and how she brought and taught on ACES. I again literally cried in such joy that we have a community who cares and want to be a resilient community. She is truly amazing, bold, brave, heart of gold, assertive, strong, knowledgeable and loving self. I told her and said to many she will be my boss one day!!! All she has done for the community, all her successful services she provides. I had referred many or reach out t her for advice for others. She never hesitate to give advice or help. I want to be under her, to grow, to learn, and to give back to the community like she does!! So to be watching her on the outside was amazing but to be watching now on the inside behind the scene is indescribable and a blessing. Not only she doesn't demand but she guides, supports, and even ROLE MODELS (unintentionally if I may add!) <br> <br>I've watched her love on babies, I watched her stopped what she is doing and play games with kids in the waiting room, one day she visited our office, turned around, came back with a book and read it to our families, another visit with families she grabbed the baby, grabbed paint brushes and painted with 3 other of the kids while we spoke to mom, she takes time to listen to you, always available to help, she speaks life over you and lifts you right back up. Best of all she accepts us all just the way we are and reminds us of our uniqueness and differences and embraces it. I never felt so freely and proud to be ME! Lastly, when the leader is this amazing she built an amazing staff. They replicate her leadership and of course freely who they are also. <br> <br>In conclusion, all that ECCAP offers, all the services, staff and all has truly been a blessing in our community. The networks, connections, selflessness and togetherness of this one nonprofit to others is one huge step why DOTAHN is a great, loving, helpful and resilient community.

Save A Pet was responsible for transporting our 6 month "bundle of joy" to Michigan. We had lost our dog of 13 years a month earlier. We were all devastated and our 3 year old rescue pooch needed a new sibling. Kati had arrived just days before we spotted her from the corner of her crate. We had some play time and brought her home the next day. We are looking forward to many years of love and companionship. We are so thankful that SAVE A PET facilitates saving these precious animals! I hope this donation helps this wonderful cause.<br><br>

How about advancing our youth or mankind as a whole without being racist? It sickens me to see those who would claim to fight racism promote such divisive mind sets. You get one star only because I have to give a star to comment.

This organization is a blessing to the youth of Alabama, teaching important life skills and providing guidance and divine support for children ages 7-16. AUSA YEA uses the sport of basketball to teach many core life skills during the most impressionable ages for children, and often, the most difficult for their parents. This uplifting program is priceless to youth and parents......
