It is amazing the joy, relief, and gratitude a new pair of shoes brings a child when they are in need. No one thinks about the importance of shoes and health when working with kids, but Shoes That Fit does. They ensured all youth receiving shoes had quality, fitted, great looking shoes. The kids rushed to put them on the moment they received them. The diligence of the Shoes That Fit team in obtaining the proper information, considering who the child is, and fulfilling a massive delivery (smiling the whole time) was inspiring and makes the work so worth it. It is amazing what a group of people who care can do. Hesperia Unified School District is honored to work with Shoes That Fit and appreciate the consideration given to our littles.
I feel blessed for the opportunity our school has received to be part of Shoes That Fit Program. When I started working at my school there was a great need of students needing shoes, I used to take my son's shoes that were in good condition to give away to a child whose shoes were falling apart. God saw the need I had to be able to help more of my students, and he sent me the people who gave me the information to this wonderful program. I filled out the documentation and was accepted right away, I have been blessed ever since. It is a blessing to see the great smile a new pair of shoes can bring to a child. I want to thank this program and all of the kind donors for bringing great joy to a child in need. God bless you always!
The experience of working with Shoes that Fit is a pleasure for every event we host together! The team is organized and are experts at shoe distribution, making events effective and efficient. They are also open to creative ideas and like to deliver one of a kind experiences. We have hosted events for young children and high schoolers - no mater the group, it's been excellent!

We are incredibly grateful for the Shoes That Fit program! This partnership allowed us to purchase shoes for half of our students, all from low-income, marginalized communities, including some McKinney-Vento students. The impact has been significant, as these new shoes are more than just a necessity—they bring a sense of dignity and joy to our students and families. Thanks to Shoes That Fit, we can now ensure our students are equipped with the basics they need to thrive. The smiles on their faces say it all—thank you for this invaluable support!
Five-star review does not do Shoes That Fit justice. This program is amazing. I work at West Seattle Elementary school located in Seattle. Majority of our students receive free & reduced lunch.
I have been a social worker for 25 years. This much I know to be true. When students have access to proper shoes and clothing their self-esteem is lifted and this translates to academic success. In these tough economic times, many households must choose between new shoes or food and rent. Shoes That Fit help ease load by removing one less thing off the plates of our amazing families. Because of Shoes That Fit our students were able to provide shoes and high quality and stylish shoes. Our amazing group of volunteers set up empty classroom, to look like Footlocker store. The student came down and were fitted for shoes and left excited. One student asked, “are these shoes really mine to wear”. Its moments like this that make me proud of my work and my partnership with an amazing organization such Shoes That Fit. Throughout this process I collaborated with Stephanie Woods who is a part of an organization is incredible, caring, kind and supportive. I describe what they do as “Angel work”. Through this partnership they ease load of of families and brighten the lives of our students.

We have a nonprofit organization, Beautifully Loved, in Austin, Texas for children walking a children's hospital journey. Part of our mission is to be able to provide clothing support in efforts to help provide dignity during diagnosis. We reached out to Shoes That Fit about a possible partnership to provide shoes for some of our kids for back to school purposes. They responded quickly and were happy to help us. Not often do you find such quick response and quick offers for support and so it meant a lot to us! They provided us with 75 pairs of new shoes for our patients. To say the kids were excited to receive them is an understatement! Many wore them out of our meet up where they received them. Our mission at Beautifully Loved is provide mental health support for children and families in children's hospitals and Shoes That Fit helped us make this possible with their generous donation. We often say that a nice outfit has big power in building confidence and self worth. A new pair of shoes definitely helps their confidence and they absolutely deserve to feel that way! Thanks Shoes That Fit! You are so Beautifully Loved!
Words cannot adequately express what Shoes That Fit has done for our families. We are 914Cares, an organization in Westchester County, New York that provides basic essentials to children in need in our community. Being able to provide children with brand new name brand sneakers in the box is crucial to our mission of ending clothing insecurity in our area. We strive to make sure that every child can go to school with dignity, self-confidence and pride. Shoes That Fit has made that possible for us. We are so grateful. We value our partnership and looking forward to continuing it in the future.
Shoes That Fit program, has been an amazing part of our school. We live in an area where most of our students live with their relatives and cannot afford to purchase a pair of shoes for their child. This is why the STF program works very well for our school. I hope you can see our students when they receive a brand new pair of shoes. Their eyes light up and they have the biggest smile you have ever seen. Their confidence goes up their attendance goes up and even their grades. Just to see their faces brings so much joy to our staff here at Fremont Primary School. We would like to thank STF program. We really appreciate everything they have done for our students.
I want to take a moment to express how incredibly fortunate I am to have found a partner in Shoes That Fit. From the very beginning, I was captivated by their mission statement and deeply appreciate the tremendous effort they invest in making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
I had the privilege of providing 100 pairs of shoes to students in our community who needed them the most. This has led to transformational change and inspired a month-long kindness campaign, where students received a free pair of shoes for exhibiting kindness on their school campuses.
Shoes That Fit has been an invaluable partner in our school based program at Western Youth Services, creating a highlight not just for the children who benefited, but also for us as a mental health agency that recognizes the importance of uplifting our communities, one step at a time.
Every child deserves shoes that fit, and together, we are making a difference.
Shoes That Fit has been a blessing to our underprivileged students for the past seven years. Their generosity in providing new shoes has impacted the lives of many children in our community. These students often come from families facing financial hardships, and something as simple as a new pair of shoes can boost their confidence, improve their school attendance, and even contribute to their overall health and well-being. With each pair of shoes, Shoes That Fit is not just offering footwear—they are providing a sense of dignity, comfort, and hope. These shoes empower students to feel confident and fully participate in school activities, whether it's in the classroom, on the playground, or during sports. The smiles on the children's faces and their renewed enthusiasm are a testament to the positive difference this organization makes every year. We cannot thank Shoes That Fit enough for their unwavering support and commitment to our students. Their dedication to ensuring every child has the basic necessity of properly fitting shoes is heartwarming and inspiring. This organization is a shining example of how kindness and compassion can transform lives.
Thomas Jefferson Elementary, Anaheim, CA
We are incredibly grateful to Shoes That Fit for their generous donation of 60 brand-new, brand-name shoes for our kids! Every pair arrived neatly boxed, and the excitement among the children was off the charts. Here at the garden, kids usually don't get new clothes for Christmas, but last year it was different!
There was a slight issue with receiving too many red shoes, which is a concern in our area due to local gang territories. However, Shoes That Fit was quick to respond and worked with us to exchange those for a different color. Their understanding and promptness were greatly appreciated!
Thanks to their thoughtful contribution, many kids received new shoes just in time for Christmas, and the smiles on their faces said it all. We truly appreciate their care and dedication to helping us serve the youth in our community. Highly recommend their organization for their generosity and outstanding support!
Shoes That Fit is an amazing organization! They have provided shoes for our students for many years. The impact they have on each individual child that receives a pair of shoes could never truly be explained. I wish everyone could see the excitement in their eyes and the way they walk with so much confidence after receiving them. I love the way they distribute the money allowing schools to have choice in buying for individual students. This allows students to get something they really like. That means the world to me! I will be forever grateful for this nonprofit organization! A true blessing!!!!
Shoes That Fit has been providing shoes to Pacific Lifeline's children for many years. Pacific Lifeline is a long-term transitional shelter for women and their children, and Shoes That Fit makes sure every one of our children has a new pair of shoes when they start school. This makes a huge difference in these children's lives - boosting their confidence, increasing their excitement about going to school, and ensuring their feet are comfortable and they can focus on learning. The staff at Shoes That Fit are very professional and always respond quickly to our requests, and the shoes are always brand new and include a pair of socks. We are so grateful for Shoes That Fit - what an incredible service to our community!
Our campus was connected with Shoes that Fit from one of our churches in town the last 2 years. It has been amazing to see the excitement from the kids who benefited from this wonderful program. Your gift helped many of our students. It was pure joy watching the excitement of our kids when they received a new pair of shoes. Thank you so much for your generosity and helping these kids feel better about themselves. They couldn't wait to put on their new shoes.
I coach Cross Country in a rural area located in the Appalachian mountains. My runners would show up to practice and meets in shoes that were falling apart. I contacted Shoes That Fit after our season started with hope and prayers that they could help. THEY DID! Within a matter of a couple of weeks, my runners had brand new On Cloud shoes! Having quality, matching shoes boosted my runner's confidence, pride, and self-esteem. I was unable to outfit my runners any other way, but Shoes That Fit answered prayers by sending my kiddos exactly what they needed in a time frame that was beneficial to them and our school. I cannot thank them enough, nor can I adequately thank the generous donor that made it all happen. Shoes That Fit was an answered prayer.
We are a public Title 1 school in Los Angeles California, which serves a richly diverse population of minorities, low income, homeless, foster youths and at-risk students. Shoe's That Fit generous donation has aided us in addressing some of the foundational needs of our students. Your gift helped our students with joy and wellness, so they are better able to focus on their academic goals and to continue to thrive even when faced with hardships and challenges. Thank you so much for your generosity!! It was pure joy watching our students so excited about receiving a new pair of shoes. Ms. Woods was awesome to work with. She represents Shoes That fit in an exemplary manner. She made the process easy and seamless.
Shoes that Fit has been a wonderful and caring organization. They have supported at all my schools and are always available to help. I support schools with students that are the most in need (homelessness, new-comers, and kids in foster care). Shoes that Fit and their fabulous staff (shoutout to Stephanie Wood) are hard at work and doing the hard work. Thank you!!!
“I can't say enough positive things about Shoes That Fit. The company offered a fantastic selection of shoes that cater to our studetns needs. The employee named Stephanie was incredibly friendly and readily available to answer my questions and provide assistance. Stephanie made our school feel welcomed and valued. Shoes That Fit is my go-to non for profit for shoes for my population here in Chicago .My students are and were totally excited. I highly recommend it to others and please continue to do this great work.
Our school has been connected with the Shoes That Fit Program for over twenty years. The impact on students lives through this program is nothing short of amazing. To witness the change in the demeanor of a child who receives shoes, socks, or a bookbag when they are so in need is a moving experience. The stores in our community that help administer the Shoes That Fit Program have such caring staff. They always step forward and help with not only raising funds but they help with shopping as well. This program really does meet the needs of so many students who because of circumstances find themselves in need of assistance. I so appreciate what this company has done in providing a program to help others.
Shoes That Fit is an incredible non-profit organization that has made a tremendous impact in our school community since they adopted our school and showered our students with new shoes, kindness, generosity, smiles, and humble hearts that care. I think that students will cherish the memories and the cause that Shoes that Fit so willingly sponsors, to give students a pair of shoes which makes all the difference in the world when you are a child! Students not only feel great about their new shoes, it also helps support our attendance efforts. Students understand that school is a place that cares for them and their needs and we know that by forming alliances with partnerships our students will always win. I am so grateful to Shoes That Fit for taking care of our students.

I am so very thankful for the Shoes That Fit program. I work at a school district in North Carolina and to have this resource has meant that students who didn't want to participate in gym because their shoes were literally falling apart, were able to get shoes. It has meant that a student who was complaining because her feet hurt, only to find out she was wearing shoes that were two sizes too small, could get new shoes. It has meant that a student who has only ever had hand-me-down shoes, got a new pair of shoes in his size--the light in his eyes was truly amazing. Shoes that Fit truly makes a difference in the lives of multiple children every year. Thank you!!
GRATEFUL FOR ALL ThEIR HELP
Shoes That Fit Has been a total gift to our students who are very much in need. They have always been willing to help and will do their very best to provide comfort fast. Without Shoes That Fit I don't know what we would do and we are truly grateful.
Amazing! the members of Shoes that fit really care about providing shoes to all kids in need. They are professional quick to respond and ship all items. I will be working with them again! I am a resources Navigator for an LAUSD school and we provided shoes to over 100 students thanks to shoes that fit!
Shoes That Fit has improved the self-confidence, self-esteem and self-worth of hundreds of foster youth in care in Clark County. They have donated shoes to Child Haven Children's Emergency Shelter over the last two years and our youth feel like their peers when they go to school. Social Anxiety is one of the leading factors why youth sometimes refuse to attend school and their peers' opinions of them matter unfortunately. Shoes That Fit has helped us combat this problem and school attendance is up on our campus.
My partnership with shoes that fit was wonderful. I connected with the organization back in 2020. within the partnership they were able to come to my high school and support me as well as my team with shoes. Shoes that fit supplied both girls and boys track athletes with running shoes they would not have had without this resource.
Shoes that fit is a fantastic organization and they will kind and still wiling to be of help when needed.
Last school year was my first year at my elementary school and Shoes That Fit was a blessing for our school community! Many of our students come from households that have financial struggles and many times our students only have the shoes handed down from older siblings.
It warmed my heart to see smiles on our students who proudly wore their shoes. Shoes That Fit not only provided shoes for our students, they also were able to raise our student's self-esteem and confidence.
Thank you Shoes That Fit for all that you do for our communities!

This program is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING for our students.!!!!!!! Most of our students are in foster care or live with family members and are listed as low income. My students are so excited every year when they are able to go to the mall and walk in Rack Room shoes and pick out whatever sneakers they would like. This program truly helps our students with their self-esteem. The caregivers/ families so appreciate this I've seen many of them in tears of joy! Thank you so much for providing this program for our students!
We have benefitted from the Shoes that Fit program for several years. It truly makes a difference in the lives our school aged children. This is one less things that a family has to worry about when trying to figure out how to fund shoes for the new year. We are so thankful to benefit from this fine organization!
It was an easy and wonderful process for this organization to donate shoes for every child in our school. We felt very blessed to receive these shoes as our area has very few job offerings for our families.
I have been doing Shoes That Fit since 1998. The have provided new shoes and new socks to our needy children in our schools.
I love this program because it has wonderful to all of us.
Thank you so much for all your help and hard work. God bless you all and always!
Sincerely,
Jessica Irias-Hart Street Elementary, Columbus Middle School and Kennedy High School
Shoes That Fit has provided hundreds of pairs of shoes to our students over the last 5 years.
The smiles and excitement seen on our students faces is priceless. Thank you STF for providing this gift to our students. We appreciate you!!!!
Our school has had a relationship with Shoes That Fit for several years. We are a low-income/ Title 1 school. I have seen and heard many heartbreaking things. The way the children smile and behave after receiving their new shoes is almost unbelievable. It is amazing how a new pair of name-brand shoes can lift the spirits of a child. I highly recommend this program to anyone considering making a donation!
Shoes that fit have helped an abundance of our students with name brand shoes. They are so proud of these shoes. Thank you for helping to make this happen!
Shoes That Fit is an organization that is amazing. The students who are attending our school are low-income students and every student who needs a pair of shoes are so excited to receive them. If there is a need for a different size and I don't have them, they are right there to send them to me. I find them really easy to do business with and very help full. The generosity of these amazing people are more than appreciated. I can't thank them enough for all they have done for our kids through-out the years. We are very grateful to all that are involved with Shoes That Fit. Valerie 08/01/2022 Peter Burnett Elementary School
I have been very blessed for our students at Bassett USD.
When I request shoes, I am always greeted with a friendly attitude, I never get, a negative response, I get “ok Rose we will have the shoes ready “ let me know when you are coming to get the shoes, when I call the parents to come pick them up, I am not kidding, parents cry, kids with big smiles, this is what a nonprofit does. I have shared many times, “ you need shoes for your students?” Call Jarrett at shoes that fit”
When I didn’t have the contact, I didn’t know how to help these kids, the lord put me in contact with SHOES That FIT, I have had the pleasure to continue working with Jarrett, they have a awesome staff, Thank you,
Shoes that Fit has been an amazing organization to work with. I stumbled upon them in a simple research as I was looking for someone to partner with to bring something hopeful and better to my community. I needed something that dovetailed with my company's vision and values. Shoes that Fit met all the criteria. Once the campaign started, I found the team extremely easy to work with and am looking forward to more good things to come.
What a great experience! Our students are still talking about how wonderful it was to receive a brand new pair of name brand shoes and socks! Sam was so generous and thoughtful to each of our students! The organization did a great job with communication and assisting us with the process. Highly recommend!!!
I have had the pleasure of working with Shoes That Fit for about a year and a half. They are the most incredible, supportive, caring, kind, and genuine organization I have ever worked with. The work they do truly changes kids' lives and they make partnerships incredibly easy due to their fantastic communication and the variety of resources they provide for their partners. They not only help put brand new shoes and socks on kids' feet but ensure that every child they help has their feet measured to guarantee that the items the children receive fit perfectly. Ultimately, Shoes That Fit is a wonderful organization that truly makes the world a better place.
Thank you Shoes That Fit! Our school serves many low socio-economic families. The generosity of this group has been amazing! The look on a child's face when they get a brand new pair of name brand shoes is priceless!! Thank you so much for providing shoes for our students. We are truly grateful!!
We are so grateful to partner with Shoes That Fit to help children in need. Now more than ever children need to know that someone cares for them and giving them a pair of new shoes is a great way to communicate that. We look forward to making an even larger impact in the lives of children and youth by continuing to partner with Shoes That Fit in the years to come. - Fred Jordan Missions
As a Social Worker for 21 years, I have witnessed countless students go without appropriate shoes due to poverty. They come to school daily grimacing in pain due to too small shoes or embarrassment due to the condition their shoes are in. To work with an organization that understands this essential need and works tirelessly to ensure that all students have appropriate shoes that actually fit their feet exhibits the highest act of kindness. The staff are professional, organized, energetic, eager, and committed to their mission. Our students, who received shoes exhibited pride as they wore them and the sincerest gratitude for this gift. We have missed interacting with our students in person for 13 months and were aware that some of our students would have needs but we were not prepared for the insurmountable number of students who desperately needed shoes. Students during this period increased 1-3 shoe sizes but parents were unaware because students were in the house wearing, socks, slides, house shoes, or no shoes at all. We have 19 schools within our community of school, and we are delivering shoes to our schools daily based on demand. Thankfully for Shoes that Fit partnerships with generous donors who supplied a huge number of shoes we were able to create a shoe locker and upon request for shoes can provide shoes to students in need the same day. Thanks to the generosity of organizations who donated money for shoes our students feel valued, supported, cared for, and now seen posing in their stylish shoes. Thank you for being a true difference maker. No more grimacing only smiles thanks to each of you!
STF has done wonders for our students and schools out here in Local District West, a subsidiary of LAUSD. As a Community of Schools Administrator I oversee 19 Title I schools, Preschool thru 12th Grade, that serve underprivileged students. STF has come in and provided shoes for our students with the highest needs. As we have distributed these shoes throughout, we see the magic that happens with our students; their faces just light up when they receive their pair of brand-name sneakers. Having grown up as a child in a family of very little means, I know the impact that a new pair of shoes (just like a pair of brand name jeans or t-shirt) has on a child's level of confidence and self-motivation. New shoes not only bring comfort, but it also takes the child to a place where she no longer sees herself any different from other children who may have more. There is a direct correlation between a child's level of self-confidence and motivation and attending (and succeeding in) school. I applaud for what STF has done within my community of schools. They have worked their magic one of pair of shoes at a time!
I am so grateful for the Shoes That Fit program! I've been working with the organization for 4 years with Washington Elementary School, Evanston, IL. The group provided 50 pairs of shoes to those in need. The opportunity to engage families and offer them such a great product is amazing. This year, they offered to provide 30 pairs of shoes to Dawes Elementary also in Evanston, and one where there is a large population of low-income families. Because of Covid guidelines, Shoes that Fit delivered the shoes to my house, and we created a drive-by pick-up for the kids in front of the school, adding food, toiletry bags, and school supplies as well. I am so grateful for their flexibility and organization.
The Shoes That Fit program has helped over 700 students at Southwest ISD in the past 10 years. Amber, the Rack Room Shoes Manager at the Westover Hills Marketplace location in San Antonio, Texas and the employees are always willing and ready to serve our students. The students walk proudly through the hallways with their new shoes and their self-esteem is at another level! The Shoes That Fit program makes our students feel special and loved! Thank you Rack Room for making this possible!
There is a timeless African proverb that states: “If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” - When we think about our journeys in life, it is often reassuring to know that we never need to walk alone. It is so encouraging to know that in our world, there are groups of people that embody that communal spirit of sharing, caring, and giving to those who sometimes need assistance. The contributions from Shoes That Fit create pathways for youth to take steps towards going further in their lives, embarking on new journeys and making their mark in our ever expanding world. As a school, we are extremely grateful for the items shared with our students and the joy that it brought to their hearts. Thank you so very much for all that you do to change lives in such a meaningful way.

We are proud to support "Shoes That Fit". They understand the importance of a child owning a new pair of shoes--They place value on building a child's confidence, self-esteem, and comfort to their daily life.
By reading the magazine The Week, I discovered this very worthwhile non profit Shoes that Fit! It was recommended in magazine as a worth while organization.
I have donated to this organization for several years now, for honoring family members on birthdays, christmas etc. I have also used it for memorial donations for loved ones that passed.
If you need to donate, please consider this very worthwhile non-profit organization SHOES THAT FIT.

I paryicipated in a race with Will Run for Bling to raise money fir this anazing nonprofit. I am so Impressed with the work they do In providing shoes to children in need.
I may be Ms USA now but as a child I grew up poor, so I know how much something as simple as a new pair of shoes can do for a child and their sense of self. Please help this charity continue to grow!
It's been an honor to serve on the Shoes That Fit Board of Directors. I continue to be impressed and amazed by the leadership and staff, whose dedication to the mission is evident by how much they accomplish day in and day out. I am excited to see what more the organization can and will do in the future.
My elementary school, 49th Street School, was connected to Shoes that Fit through the police department, in particular a division whose work focuses on community safety and engagement. From the minute we were connected with Shoes that Fit our experience was amazing! First, Stephanie, Shoes That Fit Associate, provided me with a clear timeline and list of tasks and within two weeks of initial contact, all of my 1st and 2nd grade students were each presented with a brand new pair of shoes. The students chose a shoe they liked and volunteers who work with Shoes that Fit and LAPD officers assisted with putting the shoes on students' feet. This is one of the most kind and genuine gestures I have ever seen performed by any human being. My students and their parents were extremely grateful for the gift of shoes.
Everyone at Shoes that Fit has been helpful and kind. Karen and Jarret have been extremely helpful in placing our orders. Our students express joy and excitement at knowing that they will receive a pair of shoes. Shoes That Fit is a perfect example of an organization giving back to its community. They are a wonderful organization and I am grateful for their partnership. I continue to look forward to referring to our families.
Shoes That FIt! helped over 500 students at John Ireland Elementary this year by providing shoes. More importantly, they helped by contributing to our vision of working and learning together to change the future! Our students and staff were so touched by the generosity, the partnership, and the love that was shown during our work together. The students were proudly showing off their new shoes daily! It was amazing to see the uplifted spirits and confidence our students displayed after receiving this generous donation. Thank you Anna, Bosse Lending, and Shoes That Fit for the amazing work! I look forward to a continued partnership as you continue to positively impact communities!
Shoes That Fit has provided our program with several donations of new shoes/socks. Every pair of shoes appears to be carefully picked for the age of the child and I cant begin to tell you the smiles these donations bring to our children! The majority of our families are low income so when we deliver brand name, brand new shoes and socks the smiles are plentiful and genuine! During this pandemic many of our families are truly struggling with health and finances. HHKSS has delivered emergency care packages to the families and having that extra package, special just for the children was amazing! Thank you for all you do and we sincerely appreciate your support
Friends of Clay was proud to raise funds to provide WV schoolchildren with the tools they need to succeed. Shoes That Fit is a wonderful organization - the team there made it possible for us to reach as many kids as possible, and in time for Christmas last year. This was our first year working with Shoes That Fit, but we're so excited to continue in the years to come!
I want to give a shout out to "Shoes That Fit" for always being amazing in what they do for our children. Especially during these testing times of crisis. Thank you for all your support. It really means a lot to see the expressions of children when they receive shoes and socks that are so humbly needed and it also sets reminder to parents to see they are not alone in this. Shoes That Fit, again thank you for all you do! Reach out to them they are here to help.
I am a Student & Family Resource Navigator for LAUSD in the city of Watts, I have been working with this non-profit for 8 years. My experience has always been wonderful, they have a simply process to obtain the much needed resources for our students. I am grateful for this non-profit, and all the smiles they bring to our students.

It was a blessing finding this great non-profit agency to help us fill in the gap with much needed resources for our students at our elementary school. I worked with the nicest staff to coordinate for our students in need to receive a new pair of shoes. If you can only see the faces of the children, with smiles gleaming with joy. This has been an unbelievable experience for our students, our families, and our school.
Thank you Shoes That Fit for your generous donation!

I recently donated for the first time because Shoes that Fit provides a crucial service for children in need. Being given a pair of comfortable and supportive shoes gives a child confidence and the opportunity to thrive in school. This charity reaches so many children and communities across the country with the help volunteers and charitable contributions, so please consider supporting them. Every child deserves to have "Shoes That Fit".
I am a volunteer at Shoes That Fit and have enjoyed every second of devoting my time to this organization. It has been a pleasure seeing how devoted and committed the staff is to helping young children all across the nation. This organization goes above and beyond most and works tirelessly to bring joy and confidence to children in need through its program. This organization is an outstanding example of what devotion to a cause and the pursuit of making a difference can bring. It has been a joy to see first hand the impact their efforts have brought.
I volunteered with Shoes that fit for their Operation Shoes from Santa. It was such an amazing event. They had organized to get the shoe sizes of thousands of kids from all over the LA area and distributed them during a holiday celebration. It was such a fun event for all the kids and their families, they had made actual snow from huge blocks of ice and pictures with Santa. Working with the Shoes that Fit staff was also a great experience. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, and appreciative of all the volunteers. You could see the heart and passion that the staff has for the mission of this organization. I had such a great time volunteering with shoes that fit and I really hope I can help with this event or other events in the future!
This past year I became a volunteer at Shoes That Fit and I have to say that this is a very much needed and worthwhile organization. In the time that I have been here I have seen the huge difference they've made in the lives of the numerous children they've helped. The staff is truly dedicated and they sincerely care in helping as many children as they can. Just knowing that there are so many children out there that have, and will, benefit from the great work this organization does just warms my heart. I am proud to be a part of such an amazing organization.
What a joy to be a volunteer at Shoes That Fit.
'Shoes That Fit' The name is a bit of a irony. It's something that most of us take for granted! But, the results of this charitable organization can not be disputed. Over 120,000 children and young teens in the 2017/2018 school year have received a new pair of athletic shoes. The charity is based In Claremont, CA and has active agencies in 46 other states.
I am proud to volunteer and to help raise funds to keep Shoes That Fit putting shoes on are youth! It is inspiring and so motivating for all ❤️

Shoes that fit is an amazing charity, they do so much for local communities as well as around the country.
Shoes That Fit is an amazing organization that takes something small to make a huge impact. They partner with schools and communities to make a difference in children's lives. To most people a pair of shoes is a practical need, but to the student's/children they're serving it's a self-esteem changer, a mood enhancer, and an overall good feeling of giving back into our youth. You also get to see how hands on the staff at Shoes That Fit are. They are working HARD to make sure every donation and every pair of shoes has a purpose. I'm proud to live in a community with this non-profit.
This is an amazing organization that provides new shoes, and in turn confidence and comfort, to children in need. They make it simple to donate, so it is an easy way to positively impact the lives of school children.
Great people and great work for a good cause! I was fortunate enough to volunteer during their holiday shoe give away and the kids were all so happy. Looking forward to volunteering next holiday season!
I have been donating to, and volunteering with, Shoes That Fit since 2009. I can enthusiastically say that their team is fantastic. Everyone who works there, from staff member to board member, cares deeply about the cause, and the children, families and schools that they are serving. I appreciate their transparency, tenacity and kindness as they work tirelessly to make sure all kids in need have shoes that fit ;)
Shoes That Fit is an incredible nonprofit to partner with. We were able to impact the lives of over 100 elementary school students through this program, and they made the donation and volunteer process seamless and fun. Their staff is knowledgable and passionate, and we can't wait to volunteer with them again. Thank you to Shoes That Fit for all of the help!face
On numerous occasions Shoes That Fit has assisted our families, many times on the same day the shoes were requested. In addition, through donations they have blessed a few of our families with jackets at Christmas time. Shoes That Fit is a true blessing to many!!!
Shoes That Fit, is a great organization, shoes that fit assist hundreds of students in our school district each year, if there is a problem with shoe sizing they correct the problem right away.
Over the past years I have seen students from any age get very excited to receive their new shoes.
Thank you Shoes that Fit!!
Shoes That Fit is an amazing organization that assists students with New Shoes! These students would not be attending school with appropriate shoes if not provided by Shoes That Fit. This organization assists hundreds of students in our school district each school year. Even as the need continues to grow, Shoes That Fit always comes through for each child! We are forever grateful for their efforts!
For years I have filled a backpack for a child in need of shoes. Now I volunteer at the main office. Shoes That Fit is an outstanding organization.
A 16 year old recently placed in a foster home desperately needed running shoes to continue in the cross country team. She was starting a new school and having to leave her family, friends, personal belongings was a challenge. We asked that school for fit help and they came to her rescue. This young lady will run her first race with her new team in just 2 days. Thank you Shoes That Fit. Our kids need your support.
The Shoes That Fit program is an AMAZING program that has helped assist families in need within our community. Everyone is kind and passionate about assisting the youth and we greatly appreciate their partnership.
Shoes that fit is the BEST! I work for a school district and I must say that they are truly appreciated! The continuous donations help so many of our families. There program is amazing and they get to your request in a very timely manner sometimes even the same day.
This a great organization with a very simple, straightforward mission to help children simply by giving them an extremely important but often overlooked piece of day-to-day equipment that many of us would overlook: a brand new pair of shoes. It is a physical and psychological comfort, especially in a society in which, unknowingly or not, we communicate so much through the shoes we wear. The organization does this for thousands and thousands of kids around the country with a streamlined team of caring professionals. Excellent work.
I have been contributing to this charity for years. They do such great work helping kids in our local community through their Emergency Warehouse.
We work with Shoes That Fit every year! The donated shoes go directly to the children in need. What an amazing way to make a direct impact on a child's life! They are so easy to work with, love it!
This is a fabulous organization! After learning that they provide shoes to school age children who desperately need them at NO charge, I helped organize shoe drives to help them achieve this goal. I highly recommend you learn more about how you too can help.

I became aware of Shoes that Fit about four years ago. It is a WONDERFUL organization that provides school age children who are in dire need with brand new athletic style shoes. It is such a shame that this need exists in the USA and in our local schools. It has been my privileged to spear head two shoe drives to assist this fine organization. I personally have donated over 25 pairs of shoes myself. I encourage you to do consider doing the same.
Shoes That Fit is a great nonprofit that provides new athletic shoes to kids in need. From the staff to volunteers to donors, the organization is great and really cares about the kids!
Great organization! The shoes they provide are high quality and fashionable shoes. If there is a problem with the sizing, they correct the problem immediately. Our school has worked with Shoes That Fit for many years, they are a great resource for our students.
For four years I have had the privilege to help children acquire a new pair of sport shoes because of the amazing generosity of Shoes That Fit. Shoes That Fit provide all the necessary materials and teaching to measure and order shoes for students in need. Over the past several years I have seen children from 5 years of age and up to 12 years of age get very excited to receive their new shoes. They like the look, color and comfort that the shoes provide. These shoes really rock and are cool they tell me!!! Many of these children desperately needed the shoes because the ones they had were not safe to wear any more. Others had grown out of their shoes but were still wearing them. Some just really needed some good sport shoes but had other shoes that were not appropriate to wear for PE. I work at a school with over 40 different cultures and many refugees. This program is so important and appreciated at our school. I truly thank Shoes That Fit for their dedication to have all students have good quality sport shoes.
Shoes that fit has donated over 200 pairs of shoes to our school for our needy kids, here at Vineland Elementary School in Baldwin Park. The kids that received were beyond excited and the majority of them didn't want to take on their new shoes once the tried them on. Shoes that fit is an amazing organization. Our school is very happy that organization like this are here to help our student.
Every year, Shoes That Fit works with Nordstrom's to provide 75 pair of high-quality, new shoes for kids who need them at my school. I work in a school where more than 90% of students are living in poverty and 10% are experiencing homelessness. Their hard-working families have to dedicate most of their income just to cover the high cost of rent - so purchasing new shoes is a luxury they are unable to prioritize. This organization does an amazing job of meeting a HUGE need in an extremely effective way. You cannot imagine the difference this makes to my students, who otherwise wear hand-me-down footwear that is falling apart, ill-fitting, or inappropriate for the weather. These high quality, new shoes allow kids to fully participate in physical fitness and recreational activities, not to mention the positive impact it has on their self-esteem. The properly fitting shoes that this organization provides to kids in need is such an answer to prayer. As a school employee, many of us spend our own money to help kids meet these sorts of needs. It is such a tremendous blessing to have a partner who helps us do it! How wonderful that these kids can focus on learning and play rather than being distracted by uncomfortable footwear.
Shoes that fit was able to help build our students confidence and self esteem by providing them with a pair of brand new shoes custom fitted for the individual child.
The "Shoes That Fit" organization has provided new tennis shoes for our students and we all we had to do was measure their feet! A month later 50 new pairs of shoes were delivered to our school with the student's name on each box. The kids were delighted to receive the new shoes. Not only did they provide shoes for the 50 students whose feet were measured, they also gave us 10 extra pairs of shoes. We are very grateful to Shoes That Fit and the dedicated volunteers that work there. Lee is our contact at Shoes That FIt and has reached out to us more than once to provide this wonderful service to our school.
Shoes That Fit has provided shoes to many of our students. Our entire school population consists of low income families therefore, the shoes are a great relief for the families that receive them. Shoes That Fit make the process of ordering the correct sizes a breeze. If the shoes do not fit the student upon arrival, there is an easy exchange process. I hope to continue working with Shoes That Fit in the upcoming years.
I work with a lot of homeless and single parents. When I call these parents, of students, that could use a little help with a pair of shoes, ALL they say is THANK YOU, and they want to know who are the people that, have opened their hearts to our families. I always say with pride, SHOES THAT FIT PROGRAM. I have many stories , that just break my heart. I have requested shoes for my students in our district, THey are given to us, with a smile and pride, JUST the smile of joy brings a fulfillment of my job.
These students come from living in a garage, to just having all their family staying a rented room. Some of the families I have given shoes to also live in hotel to hotel.
I have had kids tell me "it christmas" I have seen tears of joy. I had a few students say, "how much. My mom doesn't have money..... I just say "Enjoy they are yours" They then turn around and walk away with a smile.... Giving the kids what they need, is a better chance of higher self esteem, and they will LEARN more. I have had a pleasure working with all staff at SHOES THAT FIT. They are always so friendly. Everyone that works to provide for these kids, are a true blessing.
Thank you,
I look forward in working with them this year.

I have been a donor to this charity for years. As an office manager at an elementary school, I have seen their work first hand, when they deliver new shoes to students. Awesome experience. At this point, I have my whole family involved and we often donate to Shoes That Fit in lieu of other gifts.
Shoes That Fit was a wonderful opportunity for 50 students to receive new tennis shoes for the school year at Alice Smith Elementary in Hopkins' MN. The students and their families were dealing with many issues such as death of a parent, homelessness, foster care...The list could go on and on. The students and families were so appreciative of the new tennis shoes. GREAT program. Kristin Lutz-Elementary Schoo Counselor
This past year we were able to give away 83 pairs of shoes to students that were in great need of a new pair of shoes. I had several students that never had brand new shoes nor had a brand name. The lift in their steps as they walked around in their new shoes and the "Thank you's" was just heart touching to me. Making this experiment worth 10x's the amount of appreciation I have for this program. I even had students wanting to give back to the cause.
Thank you!
I have been working hand in hand with the Shoes That Fit program, and I cannot express the amount of gratitude and support the program has given me over the years. This program has allowed hundreds of children in my school to be able to gain confidence and take pride in a necessity that many of us take for granted on a daily basis. They feel like they belong because they do not have to be ashamed of factors that they have no control over. This positive impact carries over to the parent/guardian who does not have to worry about the financial and emotional burden of their child not having new shoes. I just want to thank all the employees at Rack Room Shoes that work so hard to make this program available to my families. They make such a positive impact on so many lives.
Shoes that fit is a wonderful organization , when I received that phone call saying that my school was chosen to get new sneakers for children. I was so happy to let the parents and students know that they would be receiving new sneakers. The parents were thankful. Shoes that Fit and New Balance thanks for putting a smile on our children face.
Shoes that fit has been a life changing organization for our school. To see the sweet faces of our elementary children as they receive a bright new pair of shoes....... for many of them it's the nicest pair of shoes they have ever worn. They are so appreciative and take great pride in wearing their Rack Room Shoes each and every day!
Thank you Shoes that fit for everything your do for children, each and everyday!!

When I am contacted by Kevin , the Rack Room Shoes manager at Wiregrass Mall, that the Shoes That Fit funds have arrived it is a great day. Since our beginning involvement, our relationship with the store employees has grown. Each "shoe day" Kevin and his employees come out in full force, ready to serve our students and help them find the perfect shoes. The students and their families are treated with such respect, it truly is very emotional. There is not one shoe day that goes by when tears of thankfulness, pure joy, and gratitude are not shed. Thank you for the Shoes That Fit program for lifting up our students and providing them with new shoes, a gift that everyone loves!
Hoover Elementary has worked with Shoes that Fit for several years now and I have really enjoyed the support we have received. Hoover Elementary is the neediest school in our district and the support Shoes that Fit has provided us goes above and beyond! I have had students brought to my office with shoes that have duct taped together, stapled, tied using string and shoes that do not have soles. We have students that are not able to participate in PE due to their shoes falling apart. Shoes that Fit has been able to get students back to PE class quickly and provide students shoes that fit appropriately and aren't falling apart. Thank you Shoes that FIt!
They are a fabulous organization. When my principal was initially contacted all I could see was more work for the secretary. While there is a little more work the smiles and the appreciation from not only the children but the parents makes it ALL worthwhile. Remember how it feels to put on a really cute outfit, know that you are styling, and walk out the door with an "I Can Do Anything" attitude? That's how these elementary children feel when they put on their new pair of New Balance sneakers. The "Thank You" notes the students write are heart felt and the appreciation real. I hope that Shoes That Fit will always be available to our students. This program does change the lives of the students on the receiving end for if nothing else even just that day!! This is a phenomenal opportunity that I get to offer to 50 deserving students.
Jarret has helped our homeless youth so much!
I appreciate all of your agencies assistance!
Children are so grateful for the new pair of shoes!
Thank you so much!

This is an amazing program that helps a lot of children in need. The need is great and it is amazing to have a program like Shoes That Fit to help the families in need.
A local business in a nearby community partnered with Shoes That Fit to provide shoes to many of our students. We are in a very small rural community that is HIGHLY impoverished. The students who received shoes were so excited and appreciative. It may seem like they are only shoes, but shoes are really important to a child. The process was simple and the shoes were delivered to our school. We hope to have many more experiences with Shoes That Fit.
Great, great program. Uses money from the community to help children in the community.
Out of 26 schools in my district, I was the only one who was interested in orchestrating this for our children. Now, all of the schools are on board. It has helped so many needy children from kindergarden all the way up to seniors. I work at a High school, so I am able to work with all of the schools and help all.
Shoes that Fit provided 50 of our students with much needed shoes for the school year. This was greatly appreciated by our families, staff and the community.
Shoes That Fits is life saver for Central Elementary in City Heights for many years. They provided shoes for students throughout the years. We felt bless to have Shoes That Fits support out school. Our students wore worn-out shoes, shoes that have holes, wrong size and did not have one and they came to school on sandals. We look through each case and able to provide a new pair of shoes to students. Our parents are thankful to have the tremendous generosity from the donors. Thank you!
The store employees were amazing helping fit our students for shoes. Every child felt special and were so excited about their news shoes. Several of our girls were dancing outside the store twirling around in their new shoes. It was such a great experience
I have been working with Shoes that Fit for several years, it's a wonderful program, filled with mercy, love and generosity.
I work for the Escondido Union School District, serving schools with a large number of low income families . It's amazing when we see the students happy when they receive their new shoes.
This program makes a big difference, and many dreams come true.
Thank you very much, we really appreciate the support that you are offering to our kids.
My students reside in a very low income area in South Los Angeles. Shoes That Fit has brought so much joy by providing them with shoes to attend school daily without being embarrassed or talked about because of holes in their shoes. One 5th grade student came running up to me at the beginning of the school year and asked if I was going to get shoes again. He and his family had fell on very hard times. I told him I would and that I would put him on the top of my list. The smile that shown on his face was beyond priceless. We are all so thankful for all the support Shoes That Fit give to our students year after year. It would be so hard to do without them. Thank you sooooo much Shoes That Fit. We so need you.
Shoes That Fit have been such a blessing to the students at Cholee Lake Elementary. The students who are less fortunate and may be considered homeless benefit from the free shoes. The students are very proud to wear the shoes sponsored by New Balance.
"After all, new shoes provide dignity, hope, pride and self-esteem"
"I am humbled at the generosity that my students received from Shoes that Fit, my students were thrilled by the gift they received of a new pair of athletic shoes and socks."-Mr. Saravia
Thank you Shoes that Fit for their generous contribution in support of our students, and making a difference in their lives!
I have been volunteered for about a year at Shoes that Fit, filling orders submitted by schools for students in need of shoes. As a retired school teacher, I know that a pair of shoes for a needy child can make a world of difference. These athletic shoes are new and attractive which makes the shoes for these children even more valuable. When I worked in Pomona Unified and saw the effects of what a pair of shoes could for children, I decided that I would volunteer to help when I retired. I am very happy to volunteer for this organization. It's focus is about the shoes ! And, what a difference these shoes make.
Great organization that cares, because its people are genuine and truly empathetic towards their craft. I had the pleasure of assisting Shoes That Fit personnel recently at one of their events and I was truly moved by the compassion and positive vibe I felt working alongside them.
Great People!!
Shoes that Fit is an incredible cause - putting new athletic shoes on the feet of low-income kids all around the country. They not only help the children who need it most, but also empower volunteers and companies to make a difference.
I remember my mother and grandmother affectionately chiding me to "tell your feet to stop growing" when I was little. So, this mission is personal to me.
Our AZ Shoes That Fit chapter is called the "FATE Group" (named in memory of our fathers (Frank and Nate). The goal of our Shoes That Fit/FATE Group is to provide new athletic shoes to Phoenix/Scottsdale children-in-need. A surprisingly large percentage of our local children come from financially impoverished families. These children often times wear just socks, “flip-flops” or ill-fitting, worn/torn shoes, to school, which make it difficult for them to participate in routine school or recreational activities. Having appropriate footwear, let alone properly fitting athletic shoes, is a luxury for these children.
Since beginning our Scottsdale chapter of Shoes That Fit in January, 2006, FATE Group has provided more than 7,311 pairs of new athletic shoes to children enrolled in schools in the Paradise Valley, Creighton, Mesa, Tempe, Pendergast, Sun City West, Madison, Glendale and Scottsdale Unified School Districts. Shoes That Fit-FATE Group has also donated new athletic shoes to Jewish Family + Children’s Services, Girls on the Run, Crisis Nursery, UMOM, DeColores Shelter, Salt River Reservation, AZ Military Adopt-a-Family and the Phoenix Streetlight Program.
We could not have donated all these shoes without the unwavering support and guidance of Shoes That Fit in Claremont, CA. The entire staff in Claremont is helpful, resourceful, knowledgable and encouraging. BIG THANKS TO EVERYONE IN CLAREMONT. We are very proud to be one of your chapters.
I chose to volunteer for the Shoes That Fit organization because of the wonderful service they provide to children! Shoes are such a basic need and this organization does a great job of supporting their volunteers in meeting this need throughout the numerous communities across the nation!!
Shoes That Fit is a wonderful organization committed to helping children in need in schools across America. They provide shoes and other items these children need. In the process they are helping these kids improve their self-esteem and making it easier for them to fit in at school. We are honored to support them through our Cars 4 Causes Vehicle Donation Program. It is our sincere pleasure to help Shoes That Fit in their efforts. Keep up the good work!
In my second consecutive year working with Shoes That Fit, I have never seen a better organization to be connected with! The amount of work they put into the program shows through their tremendously successful outcome they provide! They hold themselves to a high standard in order to achieve and surpass the goals they make! The people are dedicated and committed to their quality of work via their honor and integrity! Their communication helps run the program efficiently and smoothly! Now if only we could communicate the Shoes That Fit message to even more people!
Shoes That Fit organization helped us start a local chapter that has made a difference to hundreds of children in our community. They are very organized and helpful and are putting children first!!!
What a wonderful way to connect with schools who have kids who need help. We do not think of how important shoes are and this non-profit helps but everything together. The joy of collecting and providing shoes to kids in need cannot be replaced by anything else.
Seems like such a simple thing, shoes! But they are so important and especially to young kids. It is great that we have the ability to give shoes and completely change a child's day!
Shoes that Fit has facilitated helping hundreds of students getting a pair of shoes appropriate for school through funds donated through the SEMPRA Employee Giving Network!
It's great to see such a wonderful program benefit children right here in our community. It's amazing to see what a difference a new pair or shoes or snow boots can make for a child! Shoes That Fit has been a very rewarding organization to become involved in as a volunteer and has made a tremendous impact on our school-aged children!
I love how this charity gives back to your own local schools. I love helping children & this charity seems to be a the heart of that concept. Our children are our future & this charity is helping improve that :)
As someone with a front row seat to see what Shoes That Fit is doing throughout communities all over the nation, I'm always blown away by their integrity, commitment, dedication and quality of work. They work efficiently, communicate thoroughly and care passionately. There's not a better organization to be aligned with.
I began the Kawalk Boutique Shoes That Fit Program over 6 years ago, because as a former Special Educator many of the students would come to school with inadequate shoes for the season. When I heard about the Wonderful things that Shoes that fit was doing for children I immediately got involved and contacted them. They were very supportive and connected me with others who donated to my local Program. It is nothing better than seeing the wonder smiles on a child's face or the big hugs you receive when they receive a pair of brand new shoes, often for the first time. I am so grateful to be apart of this organization that continues to give to children in need and that is very supportive of other volunteers who are doing the same.
What a joy seeing the expressions of the children that received the shoes that were so generously donated to us. The shoes were so greatly picked out for our kids. It's such a blessing being able to bring smiles on the faces of our children.
I am most grateful for having our school chosen to participate in Shoes that Fit. The students faces when they receive their shoes is priceless. The school staff as well as the administration are equally touched by the efforts put forth by the volunteers. Thank you and wish you continued success!
Teresa Nassif, Counselor
My school has benefited from this amazing program for the past 3 years. I am grateful, not only for the more than 300 pairs of sneakers donated to our students, but for the efficient organization of the program. Not only do 94% of our students receive free and reduced lunch (a measure of poverty), but we also serve students new to the country who are English Language Learners. Many of our students come to school wearing whatever second hand shoes their parents receive through charity and often share shoes with their siblings. It is not unusual to see students wearing much smaller or larger shoes than fit. We also end up using duct tape to repair shoes that have delaminated and are flapping. Other students come to school even in winter wearing flip flops.
Our school families are so grateful when their children receive shoes that actually fit and are new. Children who were embarrassed by their footwear, appreciate having shoes that fit.
Shoes that Fit is a wonderful program. They have provided sneakers for the under privileged children in my district for the past 3 years. I am the school Parent Liaison and I am responsible for making up the list of needy students and measuring them for the shoes. The program runs efficiently and the children are so happy to receive the shoes the walk so proud in the Halls! This is such an important program! I can't thank the Shoes that fit staff enough! and our parents are extremely grateful! MeShell (Tempe AZ)
Shoes That Fit is a great organization. They have had the privilege of serving over 1,000,000 children since their founding in the early 90's. The impact they make on kids in this country is astonishing. And they do it with a very small staff so more funding dollars can go toward achieving their mission. Great work!!
Shoes that Fit is a wonderful program. They have provided sneakers for the under privileged children in my district for the past 3 years. I am the school nurse and am responsible for making up the list of needy students and measuring them for the shoes. The program runs very smoothly and the children are so excited to receive the shoes! Once when a pair didn't fit due to improper measuring, they sent us the right size within a few days! So generous and such an important program! Can't thank these people enough! The parents are so grateful!!

Our foundation has been working with Shoes That Fit for 8 years now. It is very rewarding to see personally how your charitable dollars have a direct impact on children. The joy is reflected in their faces with the presentation of the shoes. Many have never had a new pair of shoes and they are very appreciative. It makes everyone participating in the presentation feel good.
Thank you Shoes That Fit for making this possible.
I'm the Homeless Liaison for Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District in California. This is our first year working with Shoes That Fit! It was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. They were responsive and generous with their help, and the donations of shoes were above and beyond what we expected. Southern California Edison provided shoes for our students and they did an awesome job of selecting shoes that kids like. I really enjoyed working with this group and hope that we can in the future as well!
For the last three years we have been blessed with brand new shoes from Shoes That Fit. Properly fitting shoes that are high quality do not find their way to my children. Thanks to Shoes That Fit the children get to have shoes that are high quality and good for their feet.
The moment the shoes arrive in the building the children become anxious and excited. When they open the boxes to see their brand new, name-brand shoes, the students are overjoyed. They put the shoes on the next day and wear them to school everyday until they are worn out or too tight. It is a true pleasure to watch the children open their shoe boxes and beam with happiness.
Thank you for this opportunity. Your organization makes 100 children happy at Hendricks Community Academy. We look forward to working with you next year.
I was looking for a local outreach in my community that serves children, and I was attracted to Shoes That Fit because of their solid reputation and ability to make an immediate and tangible difference in kids' lives.
My family decided as an alternative Christmas gift to pool our money together and purchase as many pairs of shoes as possible. I took the shoes directly to their warehouse, and the small but friendly staff at Shoes that Fit were super appreciative. I felt reassured that I had found an organization that I could partner with for years to come. Thank you Shoes that Fit for your awesome work!
I chose to become involved with Shoes That Fit to give back to the community in a meaningful and very tangible way. It has been a wonderful experience as a donor and as a volunteer. I feel like I am making a real difference to the children in need of a little extra support. Thank you, Shoes That Fit, for your tremendous contribution!
The smile on a child's face when they put on their new shoes that were so graciously donated is priceless. For some of the children that receive these donated shoes, it is their first time to have a new pair of shoes. For some, they are going from shoes 2 sizes too small, some with holes, and some that just do not own a pair of tennis shoes. The pride that they carry as they go about their day is evident in each step they take. I have seen children that cannot stop looking at their feet, because they just can't believe that they belong to them. One boy responded by saying, " These are mine? I can keep them? Thank you. Thank you! Thank you!! i love them! Everybody, look at my new shoes!" We greatly appreciate Shoes That Fit and their generous donors that provide shoes to our precious children and many others. Thank you for the smiles you create, the hearts you warm, and the benefit to the parents and students.
Thank you so much Shoes That Fit! Your work and the generosity of the donors provided our school community with much needed resources. Our students will benefit greatly from the new shoes they received. Thank you for providing this memorable experience for our students.
The tennis shoes that SHOES THAT FIT has generously donated are a tremendous benefit to the students and parents. Your generosity helps to keep our students motivated and excited about coming to school each and every day. We know that when students lack basic supplies, they tend to stay away. A simple gift like a pair of tennis shoes can make all the difference. This gift ensure that our students are able to begin the school year with a fresh outlook and in style.
Thank you
Marilu Vazquez
Our school would like to express to Shoes that Fit our heartfelt appreciation for your donation of shoes. The pride and joy we saw in our student's eyes when receiving their new shoes was exciting. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to your generous souls.

As a counselor at a school with 90% free and reduced lunch statistics, I see many children
whose shoes are too big, too small or falling apart. My more resourceful kids cut out cardboard and insert it in the bottom of their shoes when the soles wear out.
SHOES THAT FIT provides a much needed service for my little ones. I have parents who struggle
to put food on the table call me with a catch in their voice to thank me when their child comes home with new shoes. Don't thank me, I tell them, let's all thank SHOES THAT FIT.
Elizabeth
All a person really needs to do is view one of the thank-you letters from a child who has received a new pair of shoes, and you know that you have had a positive impact on a child's life. We have been involved with Shoes That FIt since our daughter was in grade school...she's now 23... and are proud to be associated with a charity that is so well run and serves such a great need in our community. We are also proud that such a great organization started in our home town. Our only wish is that it had a presence in everyone's town. While the emphasis is on shoes, they also provide back to school supplies and clothing for many children. The impact these gifts have on these children is amazing. It's incredible that a new pair of shoes can have such an effect....raising self-esteem, helping children fit in with their peers, increasing their attendance at school and improving their grades. The impact these gifts have on the people who donate is just as incredible. What's better than helping to improve the life of a child?? Talk about feeling good about yourself!!! It's so easy to participate.... Start a program in your area, donate a pair of shoes or become a "Sole Mate". You can make a difference too.
I live in a community that desperately depends on this program. It has truly been an honor to volunteer with the organization. It has changed my life along with the many children we have helped.
Supporting Shoes That Fit has been extremely gratifiying to me. By donating a portion of the proceeds of my children's book to Shoes That Fit, I feel as if I can really make a difference in children's lives. As a child, I suffered the embarrassment of wearing worn-out shoes and I will never forget how that made me feel and how I hid from certain activities because I didn't want my shoes to be seen. No child should have to go through that, and when I discovered Shoes That Fit, I was thrilled to know that an organization cared so much about this issue and was doing so much about it. I urge anyone who can to make a donation to Shoes That Fit!
Shoes That Fit is remarkable in that it has allowed numerous children to enjoy a brand new pair of sneakers. Many of the individuals that I have had the priviledge of serving come from families that are experiencing hardship.

ANGELS WHO CARE, INC. NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
Shoes That Fit is an amazing charity that has had a strong impact in every community it touches. With very little staff they are able to provide shoes and other necessities for children all over southern California. Additionally, they provide backpacks and school supplies in schools where children are unable to purchase the necessary supplies.
Great organization that's easy to work with and very effective for the community. They make every donation rewarding.
In giving to the Shoes that Fit organization you are helping a child's feet grow correctly and helping them be comfortable in their daily activities. All people need protection for their feet. You are also helping them know that yes, people do care, they may not know them personally, but they care. The first time I donated I was pleasantly surprised that they sent me a nice drawing. It made me smile. Children need to be loved and feel loved too, and having a nice fitting new pair of shoes really helps them start their school year right, or at any time the old ones have become worn. Excellent nonprofit organization that helps children.
Fit for Shoes helped the underserved students at Bastian's Elementary. The organization has been collaborating with Bastian for over four years. Most importantly,so many of the parents can not afford the neccaiaty of paying light, gas and food. So shoes for the students are put on the bottom on the list. When the students are coming to school with shoes that are too small, the soles are coming apart and shoes that are so uncomfortable it lower students self esteem. The joy and appreciation the students have on their face when I tells them that they will be participating in the Fit for Shoes Shoes Program touches my heart. The smiles on the children face when they receive the shoes show how grateful they are that other children care about their well being. Bastian's Elementary is so grateful for Fit for Shoes they have really helped the underprivileged children at our school. I am personally overwhelmed by the support and services that this organization has displayed to the Bastian's Family.
Shoes That Fit is an absolutely amazing organization! They have helped my clients obtain shoes for school and have made an incredible difference in many children's lives. It is a truly rewarding experience to see a child's face light up when they receive a new pair of shoes. Thank you Shoes That Fit for everything you do and the positive change you bring!
Shoes that Fit is an outstanding program. It is organizations such as this one and the people who support it; that helps to make a difference in the lives of so many children. The students at the building where I work have benefited greatly for the past three years. As an administrative assistant, I get to know first hand the needs of children and their families since I am ussually the person who is contacted by a parent for help. The look on a young person's face when he/she receives those brand knew shoes is priceless. I have students who come to school in open-toe shoes or flipflops at the beginning of winter because they don't have shoes. Sometimes the pair of shoes that a child receives from Shoes that Fit are the only proper shoes that he/she has for the entire school year. One of my students last year said "know I feel proud" after he received his new shoes. Shoes that Fit is not just putting much needed shoes on children's feet but they are emotionally supporting children's self esteem and raising their hopes. On behalf of everyone you service at my school and around my community I say thank you.
I first learned about Shoes that Fit in May of 2012 and was immediately moved to act because of the need of some many children who go to school in need of properly fitting, new shoes. I have seen the smiles on their faces and I know that without Shoes That Fit these kids would not be able to focus on learning and not on their feet. One of the few charitable organizations that I am not embarrassed to recommend to anyone. I feel that my entire gift, 100% of it goes to help the children. That's the way I like it.
It started by reading an article in Family Circle Magazine in the 90's. Someday I thought I'd like to do a STF chapter. It happened in 2004, retired and living in Florida and looking for a cause. I still had the magazine article and so it began.
Now, 2012, our chapter volunteers have given over 5,000 pairs of new shoes and 100,000 articles of clothing to our local schools.
Support your local children, families and community.
I have been involved with Shoes that Fit for three years. I grew up in foster care and children's homes, and can clearly remember the few times in my childhood that I received NEW shoes. Usually I had to wear the hand-me-downs of some other child - whether they fit me or not! The dignity and hope that we provide to children, by giving them a new pair of shoes, can't be measured. For them to be able to run and play freely at school, and have their feet not hurt, increases the probability that school is going to be a good experience for them. The impact on that giving will also influence that child someday to be a "giver," and the ripples just keep spreading! The beauty of Shoes That Fit is that you can change one life with one pair of shoes.....or you can get your entire Company involved, and impact the lives of school after school after school of children. Three years ago, my company, DaVita Dialysis, started with 1200 children in the Inland Empire of Southern California. It was so easy - 1200 teammates each bought a pair of shoes. This year we bought shoes for 12,000 children - again, 12,000 teammates each bought a pair of shoes. Shoes That Fit provides materials and tools that make the administrative process of a giving effort of this magnitude much easier than you could imagine.
I first starting supporting Shoes That Fit through my school about 10 years ago. Each Thanksgiving we have students donate shoes and socks, and at the end of the year we make a cash donation. When I realized what a fabulous job this organization does, I started to make personal donations. For my 60th birthday, all my friends and family made donations in my honor, and now some of them are STF donors. I wholeheartedly recommend this organization. What they do is extremely important, and you can be assured that your donation is going to the individuals that need the assistance, mostly children. I have met all the people that work in the offices, and they are dedicated and hardworking. And, there are just a few workers which is another reason I love STF. They do not spend big bucks on on administration. They spend your money on shoes!!!
We have been donating to shoes that fit for more than 15 years. It is a wonderful organization, and they make each and every dollar they receive go a long way. Every child should have decent shoes to wear, and with the help of Shoes that Fit, many children receive a new pair or shoes.

I am a school nurse at 2 urban elementary schools in Kansas City, KS. I have been working with Shoes That Fit for 3 years now and I cannot tell you how important and wonderful this program is. My schools are in a high poverty area, and we have had children walking to school in flip flops when there is snow on the ground and the temperature is below freezing. We also have many students who wear shoes that are 2 sizes too small, as their families have no way to get new shoes. This program is a bright spot in their lives. They cannot believe that the pair of shoes they receive is theirs to keep; that someone they have never met cared about them and made them an amazing pair of shoes. I have seen tears of joy; I have seen children hugging and jumping up and down in their new shoes, so happy and grateful. I cannot thank Shoes That Fit, Nordstroms, New Balance and all of the donors enough - this program means SO much to our kids. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! - Stephanie Thibeault, RN BSN
I don't remember how I heard about Shoes That Fit; I've been donating for years now. What I love about STF is that they really care about the kids. I like that I can donate financially and feel confident that the money is actually going to shoes for kids. I like that I can also buy shoes and send then to STF and feel confident that they will give the shoes to those most in need. Basically, it's important to me to feel confident in an organization that handles my financial contributions, and I've never once doubted STF or their intentions. I'm grateful for an organization that stands out from the big corporations that seem to apportion more money for in-house uses than for the groups they purportedly help. I never wonder or worry about Shoes That Fit!
I read about Shoes That Fit and the work they do in the Des Moines Register and I wanted to help in some way. I am financially unable to make a large contributions so I make a small donation each month. Using the Shoes That Fit web site, it was easy to set up a automatic monthly payment that is affordable and within my budget. I think it's important to help in any way you are able to, and it's nice that it's easy and affordable to donate.
Being involved in collecting shoes, socks and school supplies for children in our town and surrounding areas has been so gratifying. I love the fact that the child I purchase shoes for will be running around at school with sturdy shoes and feeling good about themselves because of the cool new shoes I provided.
We were once able to go to see the backpacks with shoes being distributed to the kids...it brought tears to my eyes. Don't remember when we started the twice a year campaign in our town maybe 10 years or so, but Shoes That Fit is great in helping us to be able to give back. We love the Shoes That Fit staff and their big hearts!
I have been a part of Shoes That Fit for the past 2 years. This year I will be my medical school's president of this fundraiser. I have had an extremely positive experience being a part of Shoes That Fit. The kids are very appreciative and always very happy to see us each year. This is honestly one of the most fun and easiest volunteer experiences I have ever been a part of. This is a great program that I am happy and proud to be a part of.
I work in a inner city elementary school, where many children have holes or do not have shoes that fit. I was amazed that the children would say" Mrs. this pair of shoes do not fit" or they would say" These shoes fit weird". Unfortunately the children where so accustom to shoes that were either too big or too small for them, but with Shoes That Fit, the children did receive shoes that "fit" This was many times the first time in their lives that the children had shoes that "fit".
Thank you Shoes That Fit for the many smiles that you brought to my school!!
Our college has run a Shoes that Fit drive in early December as a community support effort at the holidays. We set up a nice display - some folks will take a card and buy shoes and socks while others will give us the cash to shop for them. We package the shoes, socks, and other donated items in new holiday bags so they can be presented as attractive and thoughful gifts. This effort certainly benefits schoolkids but also benefits us by way of bringing staff together in a cooperative, community effort.
"Shoes That Fit" has a bulletin board in "Some Crust Bakery in Claremont, CA. It really touched my heart to see a local business offering their shop as a meeting place for children who need help and those who want to give to them. I have bought shoes and socks for several children and plan to continue in the near future. I really appreciate the fact that I can give anonymously, and brighten the life of one precious child at a time.
I have been working with Shoes That Fit for five years now, and am amazed each fall when we do a big shoe drive about how great the need is for a decent pair of shoes that fit properly. In Houston, 24% of children are living below the poverty line and many kids are wearing hand-me-down shoes from siblings, shelters and Goodwill stores.
The link between school performance and a shoes that fit is clear. Not only can kids concentrate on their studies and actively participate in both class and PE because their feet don't hurt or their shoes don't fall off, but they know that some stranger has invested in them and believes in them.
For donors, the organization is special because the gift of shoes is for a specific child at a particular school, not just a random person somewhere in the city. My kids write letters and draw pictures and put them inside the shoe box. Our chapter requests that at least two pairs of socks go with every pair of shoes as that is another item that is in short supply for these children.
We have been blessed to see the dedication and hard work of countless school nurses, social workers and counselors who identify these kids in need and work tirelessly to make life just a bit easier.
Shoes That Fit is a wonderful organization that allows us to help kids in our own backyard. I love that there is no wondering where the funds go, I know exactly how and where the donation is being used. I get to see the results immediately when we visit the schools. When a little boy had enough thoughtfulness to ask for a pair of shoes for his brother as well who was no longer at that school I didn't hesitate to drop them off as soon as possible. It touched me immensely that he cared enough and was so humble in his request. These needs are here, they are very real. The way these kids look at a brand new pair of shoes makes me keenly aware of something I had been taking for granted. The smiles and the thank yous the day we give shoes make the work for me totally worth it. Every time I work with a new school I get excited and every time I finish gifting shoes I am ready to get going on another project. For the kids, I know that every time they look at the shoes on their feet or put them on they will remember this organization, all of our volunteers and know that someone nearby cared enough and thought that they were deserving enough to receive a brand new pair of shoes that fit just right. I have been volunteering since 2009!
Shoes That Fit is a remarkable program that has touched the lives of so many of our students! I have seen students' days brighten because now they can walk through the halls of elementary school, with no shame because students are not talking negatively about thier shoes anymore but are giving compliments. I have seen students able to participate in physical activities without being excluded because of improper footwear. The Shoes That Fit program equips kids with a simple pair of shoes but the outcome produces a powerful impact.
Shoes That Fit is an amazing organization! I would strongly encourage anyone who wants to donate in any form, to donate to this organization. Such a simple idea, giving shoes to kids in need, has a huge effect. Shoes That Fit meets the needs of its surrounding communities. Getting a new pair of shoes gives every child something they deserve- confidence. Shoes That Fit lets their donors and volunteer know that any size of donation or any ampunt of time volunteered is greatly appreciated and truely makes a difference through this organization. Please donate or voluteer as this organization is directly fueled by the kindness of others!
WOW! This organization is phenomenal! I've been volunteering with Shoes That Fit for 2 years now and I have never seen so many happy faces. Every event the children clients that receive shoes from Shoes that fit is astonished at how nice the shoes are and brand new! They couldn't believe an organization could be so generous. I Thank GOD JESUS CHRIST, for blessing us with such a wonderful organization to help the most neediest kids of all. GOD Bless you Shoes That Fit, keep changing lives one shoe at a time!
Shoes That Fit is one of my favorite events. It is an opportunity to see true joy on the faces of children that are able to benefit from the generosity of the community. Shoes That Fit provide all of the direction and forms needed to carry out the program and they are so encouraging and positive. We have been a part of this program for 7 years. We hold the event prior to the Christmas break and we add a pair of new socks and wrap the shoes in gift paper. For many of these children, it is the only gift they will get at Christmas.
Shoes That Fit is an incredible organization that puts a smile on the face of thousands of children. I remember how excited I was as a child to receive a new pair of shoes. Shoes That Fit makes it so easy to bring that same excitement to a child. I am proud to be a part of this non-porfit that does so much for so many children. What could be easier than donating a new pair of shoes to help a child feel comfortable and happy!
The kids served by Shoes that Fit were extremely happy when they received their new shoes! The shoes came in right on time for Christmas so it was a wonderful present for the children whose family cannot afford to buy them much. On behalf of the all children, thank you soo much Shoes That Fit!!
I am amazed by the generosity and commitment of Shoes That Fit and the organizations that support them. I cannot begin to describe the feeling I get when seeing a student put on a new pair of shoes. The smile on our student’s faces express more than I ever could. Shoes That Fit is touching lives on a daily basis and I am fortunate to see the students they help. Thank you for everything you do!
Claremont Escrow has been working with Shoes That Fit for almost 5 years. Lee and her staff are amazing for what they do for the kids. It's amazing to see the amount of support and excitement from other Real Estate Professionals when we collect shoes for Shoes That Fit. If you are looking to get involved in a nonprofit Shoes That Fit is a great one to get involved with.
My company partnered with Shoes That Fit as part of a campaign we called "Shoesapalooza." As part of this campaign we as a company collectively donated more than 12,000 pairs of shoes to children in multiple states.
The staff at Shoes That Fit is extremely welcoming and committed to what they do - not surprising given that they have a simply outstanding mission that brings smiles to a lot of children for whom smiling may be far too infrequent.
My company partnered with Shoes That Fit over ten years ago. We found Roni Lomeli and her team to be very professional to work with and filled with caring hearts! Shoes That Fit provided us with a needy school in Santa Ana that was near our office and close to where our associates lived. The experience of seeing these children's faces light up when they received their new shoes was exhilarating! The pride in their eyes as they left the room wearing their new shoes was overwelming! Over the years, each of our business facilities has found a school within close proximity and begun their own shoe donation program. We all are grateful to Shoes That Fit for this experience!
Shoes That Fit does a remarkable job given their small staff (5) and budget.Over 97% of every dollar donated goes directly into services for their clientele.
Because they work through school nurses, principals and teachers they are able to serve the neediest kids in a very effective manner. They make a huge difference in building self esteem and confidence in children helping them become them better students with a higher capacity to learn.
Shoes That Fit is not a selective charity organization. It responds to needs based on needs and no other qualifier! Shoes That Fit is an organization that not only expresses written thanks and appreciation to sponsors, supporters, donors and volunteers, but backs it up with making all feel appreciated. A donation to Shoes That Fit fits in every budget.
Being a volunteer for Shoes That Fit is the most rewarding feeling. To know that you've purchased a pair of shoes for a child and knowing the smile and sparkle in there eyes when they recieve the shoes makes you feel so good. We all have so much so when you can help out others in need, that is what the world is all about! And especially when it involves children. Shoes that Fit is an amazing non-profit organization and I'm so honored to be a part of such a great place with helping children. Keep up the good work!
Five years ago I became a great partner for Shoes that Fit. I worked in an elementary school in Tacoma Washington with a free and reduced lunch of 99-70% so that the need for shoes was greatly needed. Mrs. Barbara was so kind to assist us with shoes for our sites. I remember one year I had a student whom could not stop thanking me for her shoes. Her mom came over and told me that she wore her shoes every where including to bed. She had to hid the shoes sometimes in order for her to wear other shoes. Never a year that Shoes that Fits forgets about our students and I wanted to thank them for that. Thank you Shoes that Fits for helping Hearts for Kids out in partnering with our organization to serve kids in our elementary school here in Tacoma Washington. Thanks once again. You are an amazing organization with the service you offered not only to your community but extended community in other states.
My company has had the pleasure of partnering with Shoes That Fit for a holiday donation drive for several years now. 2012 was my first opportunity to work with them directly. I love knowing that I made a difference in hundreds of childrens' lives with Shoes That Fit's help! Everyone I worked with was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. I look forward to the chance to work with them again this winter!
I am a pediatrician who works with low income families and have seen the good work STF does. This organization is fast, efficient and effective. They have been very responsive to community needs and are always looking to do more. The staff is professional and caring, and work well with fellow nonprofits, schools, donors, and volunteers. I highly recommend you support their efforts to provide new athletic shoes for children in need.

I have been involved with the Shoes that Fit organization for several years. As a school social worker I frequently made requests for new shoes from the local coordinator. Later, when the coordinator resigned, I began to coordinate the project for my school district. This year we provided 40 students with new sneakers and one pair of prom shoes! What a difference having new, well-fitting shoes can make in the lives of children and their families. I have just retired from the school district, but I will continue to coordinate this wonderful project, with the support of the excellent organization, Shoes that Fit.
More than 15 years ago, I was contacted out of the blue by a staff member of Shoes That Fits. That winter was an incredibly cold and rainy season. The staff person asked whether I could contribute 15 jackets to school children who did not have adequate clothing. I quickly purchased the jackets and delivered them to the Shoes That Fit office. It was not until I walked into the small office that was packed with children's shoes and clothing that it struck me that kids actually did not have proper clothing due to financial circumstances. I completely broke down in tears and totally embarassed myself. Since that moment, I have been involved with the organization, including a family in my Christmas giving, and becoming a member of the Board in an effort to fulfill the mission of Shoes That Fit. I have also included STF in my estate, as a legacy donor. Thank you, STF for all you do! Sharon Fordyce
This is one of the most professional, friendly, helpful organizations I've encountered. In the past, I lived in the Claremont area and Shoes That Fit (STF) offered a warehouse and office tour to acquaint my 7 year old niece with their organization. While I lived near Claremont, I would buy reduced-cost athletic shoes and donate the shoes to STF, I always received a sincere thank-you note both from the office and from a child who received shoes. The stories the children tell are amazing - one story was from a child stating that they were so appreciative of their new shoes that they were going to wash them every night. The stories always reminded me of how much I take for granted that if I need/want new shoes, I go buy them. I like that the organization only gives athletic shoes to children, often girl shoes are impractical. I don't remember the statistic but know that Shoes That Fit is one of the top rated organizations for using donations for the actual purpose of the organization (low overhead, e.g.).
Our department of Residence Life & Housing at East Stroudsburg University of PA has participated in the Shoes That Fit program for almost 20 years. Every year our student organizations and campus employees purchase items of clothing for truly needy students at our local elementary school. I work with the school nurse to obtain referrals for children below the poverty level. Campus folks drop off their donations to our office and I deliver them to the school. We generally serve around 70-75 children and provide 100-120 articles of clothing, mostly winter coats, boots, hats and mittens. It is an extremely rewarding program and college students are excited to participate and give back to the community where we are located.
The division within my company partnered with Shoes That Fit and were able to provide 321 pairs of shoes for children in need, at 3 different schools, in 3 states. My company as a whole participated and provided thousands of pairs of shoes througout the country. I will never forgot the looks of awe, surprise and happiness on the kids faces. Nothing beats that. I would gladly do again.
Shoes That Fit matches volunteers with children in schools that have high percentages of children on free and reduced lunch programs. In the last 20 years, over 1 million pairs of shoes and other items have been given to children in over 1600 schools in 42 states. I'm amazed at the number of children who don't have shoes that are appropriate for school -- who are wearing shoes that are too small and hurt their feet, who don't go to school because they don't have shoes to wear or boys who are embarrassed to wear their sisters' old pink sandals, or whose toes are sticking out of holes. Each child is measured by a school liaison to ensure that the new shoes will fit -- the look on a child's face when she/he realizes that someone cared enough to buy a new pair of shoes just for her/him is incredible. Each year, the teachers and administrators report on the increased self confidence and improvement in attendance and behavior -- all from the act of taking care of a child's basic needs. Shoes That Fit accepts no government funding and over 90% of all donations go directly toward helping children in need. The volunteers love the program. It's simple, effective and cost-effective. I've worked with quite a few nonprofits, and this is one of the best I've seen!
