Team GUTS has brought in many programs to benefit the special needs community. They are doing amazing work with these people, young and old. There's no other place in the area that offers the programs they do.
Team Guts is an amazing place for special needs kids to get and stay physically active and make new friends. GUTS provides many different classes and opportunities to get involved. There is something for everyone! The staff is amazing, fun and caring!
Team GUTS is such a fun environment for such a great result. People attending there get to work out with their trainers, and they even offer the facilities and certified therapist to work with people with disabilities! I have been telling lots of people about this facility because I've seen how many people (the disabled population mainly) come out of this gym a completely different person. They have more muscle mass, they have knowledge about working out and eating healthy, and they know that they always have a safe space to do that where they will not be judged and will have a great time. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to get into good shape!
Amazing place, nothing like it and it's just a great atmosphere for my child.
I have always had a positive experience at GUTS. They are very sensible people who understand the struggles of everyday life. They are very good at what they do and very good at doing good! It's always a good experience volunteering there, always leave with a smile on my face.
My daughter is autistic and she loves it at Team GUTS. She’s comfortable and can be herself. The staff is very caring and I love the classes. I would highly recommend Team GUTS for all special needs families.
We've had the pleasure of partnering on several community events with Team GUTS, and have gotten to know the whole team, including founders Paul and Todd Turner. They're amazing people! Our company is all about spreading good energy, and Team GUTS exemplifies this each and every day. They do so many wonderful things here in Metro Detroit, and are helping families in need. We need more of this in the world!
It is not easy trying to find physical activities for kids with disabilities. My son is autistic and has some motor planning issues and can be a handful. I went to TEAM GUTS looking for an outlet for some of his energy and they were amazing. I am a single mom on a fixed income and they were able to grant a scholarship for soccer for him. I tell everyone I know about their facility and how great they are. Even at full price, what they do in invaluable; the fact that they go the extra mile to make it more accessible to everyone is what makes them transcendent.
We have a son on the autism spectrum. We have tried a lot of therapies and programs and exercises over the years, and decided a few years ago to start working on mindfulness, part of which was yoga. Team GUTS offered private yoga lessons (our kiddo has difficulties learning/working in groups) and so we signed up. Team GUTS was completely welcoming from the start, and worked with us to meet our needs. Paul and Todd were concerned about our entire family's well being right from the start, and accepted us and understood our needs without judgement. The yoga instructor, too, was amazing; he came to each session with new ideas to keep our boy engaged and working at yoga. Even if he was only able to get one pose out of him the entire session, he was so kind and patient. We all learned a lot, and plan to go back to Team GUTS for some of their other programs.
GUTS is the perfect place for group classes and individual classes. The owners are amazing. They are sensitive to each participant and make sure they are satisfied. Very trustworthy!! They have bent over backwards for our family!
They are a amazing group of people they really care about theses kids.
