The TSC Alliance has provided my family with up-to-date resources and scientific data on how best to care for our daughter. They work tirelessly to find a cure for TSC while remaining excellent stewards of their finances. The TSC Alliance also provides connection to the TSC community, workshops on the latest research, educational support, and more.

Healthy Teen Network has been part of my professional life for more than 15 years. In that time, I have been associated with the organization and its stellar staff in multiple ways: <br>1) a member <br>2) a donor <br>3) part of a group of peers who received professional development support <br>4) part of an organization that participated in a federal cooperative agreement bringing Healthy Teen Network training and technical assistance to constituents in our state <br>5) part of the Public Policy Committee <br>6) a collaborative partner on funding proposals <br>7) a presenter at Healthy Teen Network conferences <br>8) part of the Board of Directors. <br> <br>Healthy Teen Network has a strong reputation in the fields of adolescent sexual health promotion and healthy youth development (and maybe others). They consistently deliver high quality materials and training, and push the curve on thinking about what young people need to succeed. While they are allies with other national organizations, they are unique in that they also listen and respond to the needs of state and local-level professionals. I have always trusted them - they have young people's best interests in mind, and do everything in their power to ensure the adults in young people's lives are well-equipped to work with them in productive ways. They have a presence in national policy-making circles, and the communication tools to inform the field about important policy developments. They are adept at working cross-culturally, and their staff and Board reflect their commitment to walking the talk of diversity and inclusion.

Moveable Feast is an wonderful organization. It provides meals to people who are critically ill, which is an important mission that is enthusiastically supported by the board, the staff, and the volunteers. Moveable Feast engages more than 3,000 volunteers each year. The Board is actively involved and committed through financial means, time, and expertise. In 2013, Moveable Feast delivered over 700,000 meals to 3,600 clients throughout Maryland. To leverage their kitchen facility and kitchen staff expertise, Moveable Feast trains under- or unemployed Baltimore City residents in its Culinary training program.

I've been a member for 13 years and appreciate timely information and educational opportunities provided by AAIDD.

I started with Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Center, Inc. (also known as TRRC, Inc.) since 1998, and have loved the programs that Dr. Helen Tuel has developed over the years, and what she has built up over the years. Over time, I have also been a Therapeutic Rider, a Recreational Rider (when I start back up in the Spring 2022, it will be as a Therapeutic rider again!) Our instructors are all PATH Intl. Registered and/or Certified. We had to drop out of the Hippotherapy program for a while, but that has started back up as a a contract group that leases the TRRC areas. We've also been able to add an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program, again as Contractors to TRRC, Inc. AS a volunteer, I started out as a leader, a side-walker, working with physical and occupational physical therapists. Now I predominantly assist Dr. Tuel (our Founding and Executive Director, who has had the vision to create a state-of-the-art facility as well as the programs. I've been a as a volunteer coordinator, fundraiser (writing grant applications, researching new grant possibilities, coming up with some standardized wording that could be used across all grant applications, and managing our Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship International group re-accreditation (starting in 2003 under the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, and continuing through 2021/2023.) I've also served as our safety coordinator and safety compliance coordinator, and now have a supervisor who will run interference for me with Helen Tuel regarding anything related to our Safety and other regulatory programs, and maintaining our GuideStar Profile (this rates nonprofits for their transparency and accountability practices in conducting their programs, writing annual reports, and any other documents that maybe needed as time goes by (Business Plans, Strategic Plans, etc.) <br> <br>TRRC, Inc. sits on a 55 acre farm, with 2 large 17-horse barns, and one older smaller horse barn. Additionally, we have 2 "Pony" barns (smaller stall sizes) for approximately 7-9 ponies each, and one includes a wash stall, and both include either a Tack Room and/or a Feed Room. The two larger "horse" barns each have wash stalls, the original barn (small horse barn) also has an office area, and 2 (soon to be 3) completed indoor riding arenas, with heaters to allow us to run year round, and sprinkler systems (for both our riders and our equines who have any form of respiratory difficulties - usually asthma. which allows TRRC to expand our riding capacity up to approximately 150 riders each week All have access to our large and small paddocks, complete with run-in sheds.

Dad is 96 and was living independently prior to a hospital stay. We had to finally find assisted living for him. Roland Park Place has been our prayers answered. He is thriving and is actually beginning to enjoy life again. Physical therapy there has done amazing things for his arms and limited mobility. My sister and i anguished over the choices so when our brother recently complemented our choice we are even more thrilled.

The Walter Reed Society is an outstanding organization. While I was at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, they helped me tremendously with a grant to help pay some of my bills that had fallen behind while I was there with my son, who was injured. I was so grateful for the help they gave to me and it helped me concentrate more on the recovery of my son.

This is a wonderful nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes using cutting edge research that bigger groups overlook. I support this charity because I have two brothers with diabetes and I hope one day that they will be cured. Diabetes Action Research and Education Foundation has a low overhead and over 20 years of focusing on alternative research and education in diabetes treatment, prevention and in finding a cure.

I received training through Reverend Rick Davis and I must say he is passionate, professional and powerful. Through his and his organizations teaching I passed my certification test on the first try.
