Mission: Land Use Forum Network, Inc. fulfills the need to research a trust-building, collaborative planning process for new development, neighborhood revitalization and comprehensive planning, so that each new project enhances community spirit, safety, and sustainability. Trust yields community and is essential for realizing the ideas that result in sustainable land use. The possibility of creating trust where there was none, and of deepening trust in order to get better ideas has not received much focus in land use planning which has been more a catalyst for conflict than a catalyst for trust building. We fulfil the need for dedicated research in trust building, particularly in the area of land use decision making.
