Whether helping understand how to plan long-term, reconcile bank balances, or think more clearly about our products, the care and nurturing provided by Tech Fort Worth has been truly outstanding. I can't think of a time when we've needed assistance (everything from venture capital to intellectual property protection) where Tech Fort Worth didn't deliver exactly the contacts we needed. They've taken the time to get to know us, and we certainly have been well nurtured. Indeed, I now know more about my roots than I could have ever imagined possible because the director of Tech Fort Worth used some free evenings to help search my family history! We are very fortunate to be in the folds of this organization!

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

Helping plan and execute presentations; develop long-term planning; providing us contact who address our specific needs.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

the integrity and commitment to being of service displayed by its leaders.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

first rate! They do everything right by the business side of our relationship, but they are also friends, and ones that I am luck to know!

In March, 2010, I engaged TECH Fort Worth to provide guidance in building a medical device company. By June they had us prepared to present at the Rice Alliance Venture Forum where we won a prestigious award recognized as "One of the most promising life science companies in America". Since that time we have closed our Friends & Family round of funding and are working on Series A funding. None of this would have been possible without the crystal clear guidance and support of their staff. I tell everybody how important TECH Fort Worth has been to our success.

I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...

The greatest results from our experience with TECH Fort Worth has been in guidance and consultation.

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

If I were in a position to affect change, I would provide more money so other services, which cannot be provided with only two employees, could be employed

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

guidance and consultation.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

very professional and experienced in life sciences.

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

serve the community by reaching and helping other entrepreneurs at greatly discounted rates, which is of paramount importance when starting a company.

Ways to make it better...

they had more money to hire additional staff

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

time constraints and funding.

One thing I'd also say is that...

the state and city of Fort Worth should continue funding TECH Fort Worth.

Fort Worth Tech guided our start up company in how to transform educational principles and a rudimentary educational technology into a company providing web-based training for students attending training programs in the health professions. We will be ever grateful for the patience and time their staff provided us.
