This experience was deeply unprofessional and raised serious ethical concerns. The therapist attempted to meet my now ex-boyfriend outside of a clinical setting at a gym in order to introduce him to her daughter. Afterward, she retracted this statement and reframed the interaction as part of “treatment,” implying it was exposure therapy related to gym anxiety. This explanation was neither credible nor appropriate. It is important to note that he independently attends the gym daily—and does so at an entirely different facility—making this justification inconsistent with reality. At no point did the therapist acknowledge the boundary violation or take accountability. Most concerning, she failed to refer him to another provider after this incident, despite the clear conflict and breach of professional standards. This behavior reflects a significant lack of professional boundaries, ethical judgment, and respect for client trust. I strongly advise others to avoid this provider.

I am beyond grateful for this organization and for all of the help they provided. I was gifted an American Bully who’s the sweetest baby but comes with a lot of allergy issues. I noticed early on the hair loss on his back but it progressed into him constantly biting his tail, paws, and rubbing his body on any surface he could find. Then his underbelly and private are was swollen and inflamed with bumps all on his legs. At that point I had tried almost everything in the book from washes, hotspot treatments, ointments, I switched his foods nothing was working. I reached out to Nici who not only got me in with a vet, they paid for all medications, as well as got me transportation to and from the clinic because I didn’t have my own transportation. Thank you to Nici, Gusti, and Ama for everything you guys have changed Asars life!

I have proudly been involved with Musique Sur La Mer as a pro musician since its inception and I can say there's no finer preparation for a lifetime of musical reward than Musique.

A Disappointing Experience with Su Casa: Broken Promises and Unprofessionalism<br><br>I had high hopes for Su Casa, a non-profit shelter in Los Angeles, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The organization seems to make a lot of promises but fails to deliver on them, leaving vulnerable individuals and families in an even more precarious situation.<br><br>Su Casa presents itself as a place of refuge and support, but in reality, it falls short of its mission. The shelter provides photocopied gift cards to its members, which often turn out to be invalid or unusable. These gift cards are supposed to help clients purchase essential items, but instead, they add another layer of frustration and stress. It's disheartening to see an organization that claims to support victims of domestic violence and other vulnerable populations fail to meet their basic needs.<br><br>The case managers at Su Casa exhibit a level of unprofessionalism that is not only shocking but also harmful to the clients they are supposed to serve. There have been numerous instances where case managers gossip about clients with other employees, external agencies, and even among clients themselves. This breach of confidentiality not only undermines the trust clients place in the organization but also creates a toxic environment where clients feel unsafe and unsupported. Professionalism and discretion are crucial in such settings, yet they seem to be sorely lacking at Su Casa.<br><br>One of the most troubling aspects of Su Casa is its apparent prioritization of drug addicts over victims of domestic violence. It has become evident that clients with CalWORKs cases are accepted into the shelter more quickly than those who are fleeing abusive situations. While both groups deserve support, it is alarming that victims of domestic violence, who are often in immediate danger, are not given the urgent attention they need. This practice raises serious concerns about the shelter's commitment to its stated mission.<br><br>For those who do manage to secure a spot at Su Casa, stability is hard to come by. Clients and their families are frequently shuffled around the shelter's tiny homes, forcing them to constantly adjust to new living situations. This constant upheaval makes it incredibly difficult for families to regain a sense of normalcy and stability. Each move comes with the challenge of adapting to new, often unexpected, changes and living arrangements with other families. For individuals who have already experienced trauma, this lack of stability can be deeply retraumatizing.<br><br>Su Casa's failure to deliver on its promises, coupled with unprofessional staff behavior and questionable priorities, makes it a deeply flawed organization. The shelter's clients, many of whom are already in vulnerable positions, deserve far better. It is crucial that Su Casa addresses these issues, restores professionalism among its staff, and re-evaluates its priorities to truly serve those in need. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this shelter to anyone seeking safety and support.

Precious Lamb pre-school is a wonderful resource for those who are experiencing homelessness and are in local shelters (Domestic Violence, Maternity). <br><br>As a Case Manager with a local non-profit agency, we have connected a wide range of clients to Precious Lamb. Not only do they understand the confidentiality our clients need, but this program provides an educational structure for the families. PL is well rounded as they connect their parents/guardians to resources and give space for them to be with their children as they navigate pre-school life. I highly recommend!

Our family was so blessed to have the Long Beach Rescue Mission provide a safe place for our son to recover from years of drug and alcohol abuse while he was living on the streets. He tried many other recovery programs, but it did not resolve his issues. He was so happy to be surrounded by caring staff to guide him through his addictions. He stayed for 1.5 years and completed their New Life program where he fell in love with God's word. He came out strong and healthy and started his own business and got married!

Dramatic Results has provided me with an exceptional work experience, building STEAM programs for the youth in my community. I am able to witness growth in the students who participate in programming that came from the guidance of Dramatic Results. Many students who I had the opportunity to work with were able to learn about Design Thinking, problem-solving, and team-building by means of STEAM workshops led by young teachers, STEAM experts, and teaching artists. Our goals for increasing STEAM knowledge, confidence, and a stronger sense-of-self not only has been apparent with the youth in our programming, but I've noticed this in me, my colleagues and our collaborators. What I love about the coaches and what they do is that they do it for others. People don’t have to do anything for anyone but they sacrifice their time to the community. It truly brings them joy and that is the most genuine thing.

I have worked in the affordable housing industry for 18 years and for Linc for ten of them. I truly believe this organization puts its core values front and center in how it operates its mission. From my experience, the staff at Linc have always strived to create well operated affordable housing that is an asset to the communities it serves and empowers its residents to achieve their own personal goals and dreams.

It was just her heart and angry soul that drove her to help who every asked for it. <br><br>She helped any custodial parent learn how to correctly go through the process to get their Child Support. <br> <br>Created and survived to help women get the DUE Child Support as stipulated in their divorce decree.

Pet assistance foundation is the greatest <br> My family and I were so scared we were going to lose our dog Spirit because of the how much it was going to cost for medical issues Spirit was having and i didnt know what to do. I surched the internet and found "Pet Assistance Foundation" online I filled out the application and in less then 24 hours Susan from pet assistance was trying to do what she could to help me. She treated us like family she was there thru out the whole process and I am so grateful. Spirit is recovering very well. Thank you so much Pet assistance foundation and thank you Susan . I am so grateful for this foundation.

Forgotten Children, Inc is a great organization dedicated to serving victims and survivors of human trafficking. They are true to their mission and serving the community.

I'm leaving one star because the orthodontist office that is affiliated with this organization has the worst staff.The front desk is rude and managers do not return calls . This organization should hold everyone they are affiliated with accountable instead of ignore it and allow this behavior to continue .

We started fostering Fen last summer as a medical rescue, and quickly fell in love with him. Having never had a dog that needed this much medical care, we were unsure of ourselves - however, everyone at Live Love stepped in and offered us support, advice, and help whenever we needed it. A few months ago, we officially adopted Fen, and he has been living his best life ever since. <br><br>Thank you so much to Live Love for helping make sure Fen got the attention that he needed (and helping us make sure we knew what we were doing!)

One of a kind in the US! No other organization focuses on Chinese American genealogy that that meets monthly. I attended their first meeting in 2012 where there was only 10 people. With the pandemic, the group went online and now has followers in 26 states and internationally! There is never less than 200 viewers and a few had almost 500! The monthly programs and speakers are interesting, educational and informative and most of all, free to the public!

I began working with Shared Science as a volunteer when my daughter was in elementary school. The programming they were pioneering really excited me and my daughter. I realized the potential impact the creative and robust STEM curriculum could have. Fast forward 10 years, after having worked for Shared Science as an instructor and a director, I now proudly serve on the board as this organization continues to bring cutting-edge, engaging science and technology to kids around Long Beach. It has been my great honor to contribute to the establishment of the annual Tech Girls summer camp program. I love that this nonprofit strives to reach all kids in the greater Long Beach community.

I would absolutely not recommend anyone to work or live at one property in particular located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The treatment from the present property manager is so horrible, it borders on "senior abuse"! and her treatment toward the employees is no better! She speaks to everyone in a very demeaning tone of voice ,she's somewhat of a bully! If you ask me she's a very bad representation of the company and what the mission statement stands for. She is rude,demeaning, disrespectful, very unapproved table and negative! I really feel badly for the residents and the employees as well of the Towers of Crooked Creek Apartments!

My mother has lived in one of these facilities n I have friends who are now living in them. I know as well as seen how they are managed. RHF is more concerned with building more apartments then taking care of the ones they have. Anything put into the apartments is the least expensive and the labor worse. Pay no attention to there Mission Statement or any other statement saying they are dedicated to excellence and care about the residents. Resident concerns are ignored and rules n regulations mean nothing to the MANAGERS. CEOs in California don’t care either. Actually heard a manager say if a complaint was made by a resident to RHF in California they would take her side not the residents. In other words....DON’T BOTHER. I would not put my mother in one of their facilities again.

What do I say? Where do I begin? They have blown me away with the amazing work done all over. I saw some of their mobile libraries in Ecuador when volunteering in LatAm. Next I was in Nepal when I saw their safe house for kids who were tormented and rescued by CL affiliates. I love the work by them, by Anupam & his team. They so rock!

I-Help stays true to its mission to assist and empower the communities it serves. Truly a pleasure to be associated with such a fine organization. The free first aid seminar they hold annually for kids from low income homes. Exposing them to the healthcare industry is just one example of many they do to make a difference. Keep up the great work!

Volunteering at the school was a good experience. Everyone was pleased to have me and it was a breeze getting my hours approved. I would absolutely go back again.
