This rescue is not all that great, They will not let you chose what dog you can adopt. I have a female dog in the house so the dog I want to bring into my pack they said no. So this rescue tells you what you can rescue!<br>That like buying a car from a car dealer but they tell you, you can't have that car you have to buy this one, even though that's not the one for the needs of the person/family. The CEO even told me they called twice and left one message. That was a complete lie, I never got a call or even a message from them. <br>I've even heard from others that wanted to adopt, that they never heard back from this rescue and if they did it was from a rude volunteer they have working there. Now with this experience from this rescue it has left me wondering how other rescues will treat me, or should I just go to a breeder and leave these poor dogs that badly need home in the rescues. <br>

I have been working with Push for over 10 years ! They are a focused organization giving those with disabilities in Mexico not only equipment but training. They help parents and care givers with tools to improve not only the patent but the family’s lives.

This is a wonderful organization and I deeply appreciate and respect what they do.<br>Unfortunately, when one or two employees decide to participate in unethical business practices, it reflects negatively on everyone else.<br>On 2/4/2024 my disabled Cousin took his service animal, named Luna to an emergency vet, they took her back, he filled out the intake form/ contract, completely, signed and dated it, answered a few questions for the nurse and handed the intake form directly back to the receptionist. He was under the assumption based on the conversation with the nurse that Luna was staying there overnight and went back home. That was around 2pm. By 7pm (5 hours) he had noticed missed calls from the vet, he called back and the vet told him that she had an open Pyometra and needed surgery. He then told my Cousin that he thought she had been abandoned by him, he had already contacted animal control and arranged a transport to Homeward Pet in the morning at 8am for surgery. The vet encouraged him to surrender her which he declined. The next day my Cousin was in contact with the vet asking for an update. The vet said everything went well, she was picked up from his facility that morning as planned, Homeward pet had done the surgery and my Cousin would need to contact them about her moving forward. For the last 2 weeks, daily, my cousin has reached out via email and called repeatedly. The intake manager has been informed that this is a service animal, he has no intention of relinquishing his rights, he never intended ( nor has ever signed ) any documentation surrendering her to anyone, etc. The intake manager hangs up on him, has not given him any opportunity to pay to get her back, has sent him on a wild goose chase the last 2 weeks by telling him that she is at other shelters, she is in a foster home,etc. The only thing she has offered to do was to send him some pictures but ONLY if he signs her over to them first.<br>They had her listed for adoption on their website but now it has been removed. 3 days ago, he was told by her via email that the “stray hold” had expired and he has lost all ability to ever get her back. She was never a stray and never abandoned. He just wants her back. As a Service Animal, Luna is considered "necessary medical equipment " and the intake manager has been willingly and knowingly depriving my Cousin of his necessary medical equipment for 2 weeks now which has negatively impacted his quality life, mentally, physically and emotionally.<br>If anyone seeing this has any information on Luna's whereabouts,please email helpbringlunahome@gmail.com

Hope for Horses is unusual among horse rescues because because they take on horses with extreme medical problems and stay the course until they are fixed. They don't always succeed but as long as the horse is willing they keep trying. The value of the horse, the cost of treatment and the thousands of hours required do not deter them. They are healers. I started with them and a group they formed called Foal-Team where we supported a local vet hospital with teams of two people round the clock who sat in the stall with a baby and mother horse in trouble. We were there to keep the mare from stepping on the foal or help the foal get up when it needed to. The best times of my life. I have agreed to start documenting some of this and I hope soon to be able to contribute to their web site some of the many stories of just plain heroic work by their staff and volunteers.

This project is very important to the safety of and wellbeing of children that need emergency services. They are well cared for along with education, medical, and physical activities. The food is excellent and provided especially for each child. Children are also involved with preparation of meals if they wish. Activities are age appropriate considering their age levels which are between 4 and 18. <br>Bridge has staff that are very professional and have ongoing education the meet the needs of each child keeping in mind there may be teens and small children staying at Bridge at the same time.<br>Children are all made to feel safe, happy and comfortable during their stay at Bridge.

This is the best place to adopt an ex-racer. Their dogs have great foster homes so they come to you prepared for retirement. The volunteers are all great too. They care about supporting you and the dogs.

After years of struggling with vertigo, I was relieved when the doctors finally gave it a name but I still felt scared and isolated. SayWhatClub is a lifesaver. The members have taught me so much and encouraged me every step of the way.

Reading with Rover is a fantastic charity. They bring service dogs into schools, libraries and bookstores so kids can read to the dogs. Watching my child lay next to a dog and read the book he picked out is an incredible experience. The dog doesn't care if my child is a perfect reader; if he mispronounces a word or skips a sentance, he just lays there and listens without judgement.

Woodinville Baseball Club has unprofessional coaching and management. The coaches didn't have enough training and there was a lack of emphasis on player development. In a developmental league, paying ($2000) U13 players were benched 75% of time with no explanation. Complaints to the club president were not communicated to the coaches. This was worst experience we've had in organized sports. The organization makes a ton of money with their annual auction and to not report that distribution for three years in a 901 is suspicious.

This is the 5th I've done this event. It goes to a great cause and the event is done in a professional manner.
