Do not use this place if you love your animal. I wouldn't even bring a feral cat here. Place is filthy and have nothing but the uneducated working here. Do not waste your time. Pay a little more and put your pet in the hands of someone who is educated and cares.

Not too long ago, I bought my first property and not even eight months later I had a house fire actually my entire unit suffered from the fire because I lived in a condo at the time I lost everything on my brand new furniture that I have recently financed and due to things being how they are I still have to pay everything off because my credit score couldn’t afford to take a hit otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get any credit for anything else. My car got repossessed cause I’ve been having to take all my money to afford hotel rooms because of the fire. The city of Ann Arbor said that they do what they can to assist everyone who suffered in the fire, but unfortunately funding wasn’t there to help everyone I’m a 34 year-old African-American female and I’ve been on my own my entire adult life. This is hard for me to reach out for help, but I just don’t know what to do anymore. If somewhere somewhere could find it in their heart to do whatever they could to assist me in my time need I would appreciate it so much. I do believe that there are good people out in the world. it’s just sometimes we all go through things and I hope someone out there can feel my pain and connect with me somehow it’ll truly be a blessing. I know I’ll overcome this tragedy eventually for sure But at the time things are really hard on me and my family. I have two daughters ages six and three and they’ve been trying to stay positive for me because they see me cry often. I inquired about adopting one if their adult cats who needed a home. I previously had found a cat on Rehome that ended up with diabetes. The previous owners didn't want it back so we together decided to put the elder cat down and I really needed another companion. The lady vilified me for my gut retching mercy and financial decision I made with the previous owners. She made me feel ugly and I grieved all over again. The owner of this shelter has no compassion. And watch out, she proselytizes her own beliefs of pet care. Run to another adoption rescue. This one is offensive.

I would not recommend Fitzgerald Education Associates. <br>Their business practices are unethical and they are not easy to deal with. <br>I registered for one of their courses and canceled within 24 hours of registering. I have call them daily for 15 business days in a row, daily emails and faxes to get my $500 reimbursed and still haven't seen my credit. Donna, from customer services and Ana, her supervisor, both said "$50 cancellation fee will be applied to your card if the course is within 2 weeks. The course is in 2 months! I would have expected better customer service. So disappointing! My experience is not unique to me, I have spoken with several others who have lost their money in the same way.
