My daughter has been in the program for the last 6 years and she has grown so much from the program. Playing chamber music in a small group setting has allowed her to learn to collaborate with others while being personally responsible for her own part. She also loves the musical friends she’s made through the process and all the highly professionals she gets to work with!

TCF plays a vital role in the community with all the events it participates in. The Chili Cook Off, Tiller Days, Sip N Stroll, Honda Ya to name just a few. With scholarships going to many, many community organizations to ensure they are able to assist community members that need it. It is a true honor to volunteer with this bright, fun organization. The YMCA of Orange County is a special organization for our communities. They offer programs that span youth development, fitness & sports, camps, community services and programs for families to make deeper connections. Personally, I have been both a participant and a volunteer in their Adventure Guides program with all 4 of my kids. Over the last 8 years I have created a stronger bond with each of my kids while outdoors camping with several other dads and their children. This program creates opportunities to experience Southern California locations inclusive of unique venues like spending a night at the Wild Animal Park, spending a night on the Midway, visiting the Magic Castle, or simply local camping in our local mountains or out in the desert. Each of these opportunities simply put is an opportunity to make memories that will last a lifetime. Given my involvement through this program and the personal benefits I have expanded my involvement with the OC YMCA and recently joined their Board of Directors and am excited to see more broadly what they do for our communities. They truly are making a difference!

VLI is committed to aiding local veterans and giving individuals in need legal assistance. I have observed how individuals and staff members unite, commit their time, and work tirelessly to assist these warriors genuinely and have an effect. <br> <br>This excellent nonprofit organization needs your assistance and that of all your friends. Your money will be spent on the clients, not on administration, as you will see. Since you can, and they need you, do the right thing and give! <br> <br>I love VLI and will support them to the best of my ability!

Vital Link helps students explore a variety of career pathways. Many students had never known that something they love doing could actually lead to a great career. The programs, exploration events, academies, competitions, and workshops helps students experience possible jobs and understand what it takes to get there. Great team at Vital Link!

I had a great experience as a volunteer at Good Neighbors USA. The staff is always motivated behind a common purpose to make a positive change in the world, and as an intern, I felt as if I was a real part of that. I valued the experiences I got there that aren't typical of all volunteering; I was entrusted with real responsibilities and always kept in the loop with people of different departments. I think the takeaway from interaction with Good Neighbors is passion: everybody there has it, and if you have it when you come onto the team, it is noticed, nurtured, and utilized. It is in that way that organizations like Good Neighbors can make the world a better place.

I have supported this wonderful organization for many years and have been continually impressed with the level of dedication and caring they put forth. I have attended a number of their events, toured Miracle Manor and have met fortunate enough to have met many of the families that they help. Simply sharing a wonderful experience with Omics Live. There platform is to provide Internship opportunity programs to high school and college students. We believe a great opportunity to support the youth allowing for participation directly with the students and future professionals.

I was recently introduced to the Orange County (California) HomeAid organization. HomeAid Orange County has the sole vision and purpose to end homelessness in Orange County. <br><br> HomeAid Orange County was founded in 1989 by the Building Industry Association of Southern California. Over the last 28 years they have completed 60 development projects that added 1500 shelter beds throughout the county. To date these facilities have housed 60,000 homeless.<br><br>HomeAid is primarily a housing developer that connects service providers with community volunteers, builders and specialty contractors to build new or renovate housing for homeless families and individuals. HomeAid is involved in each phase of the development including land acquisition, funding, design, construction, interior design, and landscaping. HomeAid multiplies every dollar received through in-kind donation and volunteer labor. To date, over $45 million in in-kind donations have been focused on solving homelessness in the community. <br><br>I visited the construction site for the new Family Care Center. This shelter will open in the Spring of 2017 and provide emergency housing for families. With 56 beds, it is expected to provide refuge for 10-15 families per day. As with all of HomeAid's developments, the Family Care Center will be operated by a community partner, in this case, Mercy House.<br><br>Beyond housing development, HomeAid has two other major initiatives impacting the homeless community. <br><br>"HomeAid Essentials" is a community wide annual effort to collect 1.5 - 2 million essential baby items such as diapers and baby food for the close to 500 babies and their mothers experience homelessness in Orange County.<br><br>"HomeAid CareKits" is a key means of outreach to those living on the streets. Each year approximately 6000 CareKits and other items such as blankets, clothing, and other hygiene items are assembled and distributed. The CareKits have many useful items, the most important of which is a reference card that links the homeless individual to a broad range of needed services. <br><br>HomeAid 's work has been validated by several organizations that continue to partner with them. These include Google, Kimberly-Clark, Starbucks, UPS, Angels Baseball, and Kaiser Permanente. <br><br>I highly recommend that anyone interested in ending homelessness consider partnering with HomeAid.

Community service matters most when you as a citizen notice that there is a true need. Take a look around Tustin, where can you be of service? Support TPOA and you support your neihgborhood. All proceeds go direct to their programs. sign me 'Big Fan'.

I am extremely proud and honored to be a part an amazing individual, Bonner Paddock. All the people he touches, including myself, are inspired by his enthusiasm, humility, and passion. It is an honor to serve on his Board.

We love Treasures of Africa and what they do!!! We have been giving to the for quit some time now and have watched the children (through their newsletters) grow into amazing leaders in the community! We hope to go to Tanzania soon to personally be a part of the ministry!

This organization helped save one of Tustin, California's oldest and most valuable houses by providing funds to the trust that owns it to replace a badly leaking roof. The group also replaced a damaged and rotting porch. Thanks to all the donors who contributed to this cause.

A Better LA trains and certifies ex gang members who, after a training curriculum, receive a LIcense to Operate back in the neighborhoods where they used to commit crimes. Because of their history, they have the respect of gang members and have been instrumental in working with law enforcement to reduce the violent crime rate in Los Angeles. Their Peacekeepers also work with kids and schools to provide safe passage to schools through gang neighborhoods. As the crime rate has dwindled they are focusing more of their efforts on job development and community activities. I have been a board member for 10 years

As one of the county's strongest homeless advocates, HomeAid has not only been instrumental in building buildings to house its homeless neighbors, but counts it a privilege to have played a significant role in expanding the capacity of its service provider partners. A sterling example of this synergy has been the partnership of HomeAid Orange County with the Orange County Rescue Mission as a united force working together to change lives. <br> <br>We know that often you have individuals and supporters ask about our partnership. I hope that as you share the following information with others, they will catch the vision of what we’ve accomplished together and will in turn be a part of the story of the Orange County Rescue Mission. <br> <br>Hope Family Housing El Modena was one of the first five HomeAid projects in 1989. The success of this development led to a strong relationship with the building industry leaders and the mission of the Orange County Rescue Mission. El Modena serves families that have graduated from transitional housing and are ready to take the next step toward independence. Residents take part in a lightly structured program and are required to pay rent, a stipulation that helps them to begin establishing credit as they continue moving toward self-sufficiency. <br> <br>In 1992, the House of Hope, a home serving homeless women and their children, was the largest HomeAid housing development at that time. Because of the horse power of HomeAid’s builders and the excellence each brought to the table, the House of Hope became the epitome of homeless housing. When people are drawn together for a common cause the competitive nature disappears and in its place comes a spirit of cooperation - that in this case - defines the brilliance of not only the building industry's contributions, but of the HomeAid Orange County partnership model with the Orange County Rescue Mission. <br> <br>House of Hope residents - ranging from ages 18-50 - have their own bedroom and bath and share a 'great room' living area and large kitchen. Clients stay between 12 and 18 months; share tasks; and are required to be a part of their own recovery. Since House of Hope opened its doors over 12 years ago, more than a 1000 residents have improved their lives, thanks to the collective hearts of those who care. <br> <br>Located on 5 acres on Red Hill near Barranca Street in Tustin, the Village of Hope is a 130,000 square-foot facility and is HomeAid’s largest development to date. The complex is comprised of two new buildings and two renovated <br>barracks. "Building B," consisting of 40,000 square feet, housing a kitchen; dining areas; a donation intake warehouse; and provide support office space designed to serve as the nucleus for the site. "Building A" is comprised of an 8,000 square-foot chapel/auditorium. Additionally, the top floor renovation of the existing barracks provide living quarters for homeless men, women and children in configurations of single and family spaces, while the lower floors will accommodate medical offices, dental offices and vocational training. <br> <br>In an effort to make a difference in the lives of those in need, the City of Buena Park made the decision to take an assertive hands on role to become part of the solution of the homeless challenges facing its community. Dedicated earlier this year, Hope Family Housing Buena Park provides 16 townhouse units and a manager's apartment each finished with a private courtyard, laundry and garage. Two separate areas include a village green, a play area and landscaped grounds, along with a multi-purpose community room that will provide space for recreation, education and resident programs including job training, counseling and other services -including life skills training- that will assist residents with their transition back into mainstream society. This $5.4 million development is a shining example of our partnership model successfully working together for the common good. <br> <br>In looking back over the nearly 20 years of our partnership, we are pleased in the knowledge that in some measure HomeAid has had a significant role in assisting the Rescue Mission with its efforts to attend to the least the last and the lost in our community. <br> <br>Thank you for giving us that opportunity! <br> <br>

Web Wise Kids is promoting a culture of safety, respect and responsibility for youth and families in this digital world. Educators choose Web Wise Kids' computer programs to teach their students to make wise choices online and when using their cell phones. Over 11 million children throughout the country have learned to detect and deter online predatory tactics. Web Wise Kids has responded to the child- bullying epidemic by creating an online game called It's Your Call, and partnered with School Reach to offer schools a hotline for students to use to stop bullying. I am so very proud to have been a volunteer with this outstanding organization for over 12 years and grateful for their passion to protect our country's youth.

The Tustin Public Schools Foundation is unique in its ability to serve all schools across our district. I appreciate their efforts to further excellence in our schools.
