Working as an adult Mentor with kids who have never fished every spring at the annual Bobbers and Buddies event is something i never miss! For All Ages does wonderful work helping children and the elderly.

As a swim school owner and fundraiser, my experience with Hope Floats has been extremely positive. Their scholarship program allows us to provide life-saving swim lessons to children who otherwise wouldn’t have access. Their team is incredibly supportive, responsive to our needs, and truly aligned with the mission of preventing tragic childhood drownings. The partnership has made a real, measurable impact on the families we serve.

All of the non-profits who are involved in prostate cancer typically focus on either new treatments or offer support to men who have diagnosed. This foundation also know as PCaAware is the only organization that focuses exclusively on the need for men to be proactive and engaged when it comes to diseases of the prostate -- BEFORE there are issues. <br>The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) reports it is likely there are in excess of 40 million men living with undiagnosed prostate cancer in the U.S. alone. <br> <br>Given prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in men - it just makes sense to support an organization that is breaking down the wall of silence that surrounds men and issues below the belt line

<br>I know some of APAPRO members for quite some time now and I think they a great bunch a guys who like to help the community here in Hartford CT. <br>During the year, they organize pisco sour get-togethers to raise funds for the Scholarship for the needy Latinos from the community. They have helped and have participated in organizing activities in July (28 de Julio) to celebrate Peru's Independence Day. In November in every year, they have "Taste of Peru" to promote the great and unique Peruvian food. They are always supporting and helping other organizations in the community. <br> <br>In March of 2009 I organized a "Chocolatada" -activity where one gives out free clothes, toys, hot chocolate, panetton to the poor children. <br>The president of APAPRO then Mario Reyes and his friends wrote me a big check, also Mario Reyes wrote me another big check in behave of APAPRO, with this funds I bought toys, panetton, and ingredients to make hot chocolate for more than 250 poor and needy children of the high Andean mountain of Peru. <br> <br>Overall APAPRO is a organization with lots of experience, fun and professionals that are committed in helping the community at large and promoting Peru's rich and unique culture, tradition, dance folklore, and our delicious and varied Peruvian food. <br> <br>I would like to congratulate to all the members of APAPRO for their big help and keep up with the great work. <br> <br>Jaimito "Arequipeño" Branche <br>
